Dont get me wrong Its always good when an app does what is advertised and just works out of the box I downloaded it put in my url and bam there were my 6 monitors Even more impressive because my server is not at zm nor is it on standard ports80 443 which also changes the path to everything after that including the api directory Interface is pretty basic and simple but I like that Im also a developer and understand the hassles with displaying video from several sources and several sizes too Ok That was the developer talking but I m also a sysadmin If you are an end user you may not be aware of this side of things Viewing a single monitor brings up the rest of them in thumbnails Because of this you are basically doing a montage regardless of wether you view a single monitor or a montage itself A ZM video stream is sent to your browser app as a full sized frames and the app handles sizing You can change that btw at the server but even set like this to reduce server load as soon as I open a single monitor my server load doubles A w on my server showed load at 49 49 53 Within 1 or 2 minutes that went to 1 20 78 60 More than double actually W for those that may not know gibes you system load averages over 1 5 15 minute intervals in most nix type OS s Just going back without closing the app all the way didn t stop the load Going to a different app or multitasking does disconnect the streams and the load went down at that point Im just one user Sending this to several office employees or a security team would require some serious resources and a pretty beefy server A single view should be a single view At least an option Its well known that montage hammers the server and bandwidth If you don t have some pretty decent hardware behind this like ur workstation at home is doubling as you zm nvr then I would use this app sparingly At high load zm can do crazy stuff like miss events or create false ones because it could read the whole frame before the next arrived The end user in me likes it other than where the ads are places in the free version at the top of the video covering the top 20 or so Overall I m not displeased just not doing cartwheels I didn t uninstall it             Works but issues with server load bonkers4ip

I ve been using it for years but it stopped working recently I can see a list of cameras but I cannot see video I m going to switch to zmNinja     Don t work Nsydugoi

I understand a release could be buggy but not working at all and not hearing back from developers is really disappointing and lack of professionalism     Is there a plan to fix it AFrustraredUser

The last update broke this app completely I wish I hadn t bought it I ve purchased am ninja and will be using that going forward If this was broken for a few days I could live with it but it s been weeks Bye     Broken m0ondoggy

The concept is great The execution is a bit lacking When I installed it and set it up it worked After a few days it just didn t work anymore I reinstalled and reconfigured it but no luck Sad it was a really useful app when it worked         Worked for a few days buraglio

Works fine on iPhone using static IP address on local network Same app on iPad does not accept any address so this app is allergic to iPads     Disappointed Shore-Tee

It is said fix bugs for zm 1 30 But it is actually hang for all cameras It was working flawless before update I use ubuntu 16 4 with zm 1 30     New version hang Forest88

Pros not as awful to use as ZmNinja and free to try Worked on the first attempt Cons doesn t appear to be any PTZ support Interface is clunky for 2016 and uses nonstandard elements THE WORST PART View a camera in Live mode and the Google AdSense as COVERS THE IMAGE Not sure if this was on purpose or not but it needs to be changed either way Pretty useless to have a cam app when your camera cannot be seen             Works but needs work Dj4am

There s something creepy about seeing Google ads superimposed over your security cam footage App is slow and has an illogical and dated UI For example one must select a cam any cam to access montage mode App deleted     Slow annoying ads uninstalled PatPend

This app requires a computer running Zoneminder which limits the audience but if you have an old computer lying around you create a great setup I installed Debian Linux on an old PPC mac and then installed Zoneminder I can now use this app to view live video or recordings This version corrects an issue with the filtering for old versions The app itself seems robust and I have yet to see a crash                     Nice video surveillance app Simdude

It connects to my ZoneMinder instance well and does provide a decent way to monitor my cameras However the interface leaves a bit to be desired The most annoying thing for me is the best fit view Part of the camera image is hidden behind the large top bar Full screen isn t a suitable replacement because it stretches the image to both the full width and height of the screen thereby distorting it It should stretch both directions proportionally until the fist direction hits its max and then stop Also the buttons being on top of the image are quite obtrusive It s a decent app that with a ui overhaul could be a stellar app             Just ok BLWedge00

I m glad to have a zoneminder monitoring option on my iOS devices There are some UI tweaks that are definitely needed but this is still a very useful solid app Note in my experience it won t connect to my zoneminder server when app is installed on iPhone 5 or 5c haven t tested 5s but it works well on my 6 and iPad Air                 Pretty darn nice Justsomeguy1983

With this update the app is MUCH better The SSL issue seems to be resolved which is very helpful for me There are still some GUI improvements to make but after just a few minutes of playing with it using 5 different zm installs I am thrilled                 Much improved Lisa Robison
