Zen Board

The brushes look as they should but dont act as they should Needs the ability to get a dry brush look and sweep to narrow points These are just flat brush strokes like any other paint app not as Asian brush painting would look        Junk

Two essential function is Missing in this app 1 Cant resize the brush 2 No blank page button This is one of the apps that givea App Store a bad name Dont waste your precious dollar     Dont like it

I too find little difference in the brushes     No difference in brushes

The zen board was relaxing to doodle with It totally took my mind back to feeling young again just doodling away Loved it                 Loved it

This is a nice app and at the price of 99 cents you cant complain The evaporation feature is cool My complaint is that when you save it it also photographs the brush and water dish Also Im not 100 happy with brush Maybe Ill get used to it in time           Ok but

Soothing it is but I found it boring Im not artistic and find that when ever I use this app thinking what is the point The graphics are good           Sleeper

I have a real Buddha Board and this is very similar to it Nice presentation interface water evaporation effects Choice of brush style is nice The only suggestion I can make for the next version is choice of brush size 2 or 3 sizes and an option to add water drips running down from oversaturated areas would be killer Overall great app              Very nice

Very similar in response to a real Buddha Board always a pleasant experience to use The developers have done a nice job with brush types and I really like that you can change the evaporation rate                 Soothing

You have removed the ability to apply ink by just tapping and now require to drag in order to apply any ink this is very bad Also the update said there would be new brushes and I dont see any Will change review once these problems have been corrected     Not good

Zen Board is one of those apps that will surprise you I find myself always opening it during boring moments like waiting for someone to arrive or while riding on the bus Im not really a new age kind of person but I cant deny playing with it is super relaxing Its totally worth the 099 cents especially because it keeps getting improved It was good when it was first released but the addition of the more realistic calligraphy brushes made it way better The other reviewers suggestions about oversaturation dripping and different brush sizes are things I would like to see as well Also I know it goes against the idea of impermanence but itd be great to be able to save drawings Once you get good at using it youll find yourself wanting to hang on to some of those doodles Actually the most fun I have with this app is that I sometimes use it for impromptu games of TicTacToe with friends I know there are other apps out there that will setup the game for you but theres something satisfying about drawing out the board yourself just like when you were a kid Overall Zen Board gives back more than what you expected to get for your money Its a great app and I highly recommend it                 Great app for relaxing being creative and having fun with friends

Really nice I like the no evaporation option It might not be as realistic bit could you add some more colors                 Awesome

But there is almost No difference in the brushes They do not produce the strokes that are pictured Perhaps you can fix this           Concept is nice

I bought this one on my iPad and every time it just crashed at startup I cant do anything about it I tried deleting it and install from app store and I even tried resetting the iPad Still does not work     Is anyone actually using this one on iPad

Its a very nice app however not accurate There should be a place for ink When I place the brush in water the ink gets darker on canvas doesnt make sense When this brush can make bamboo in one stroke then you will have learned Grasshopper        Pleasing to the eye

I love this app Ive tried other drawing and writing apps but for asthetics and fuction this is by far the best So fun and relaxing to play with                 My new favorite app

I really enjoy this app Its simple and easy to use and is very responsive no dragging or skipping as you draw I really like the different brush styles to choose from The water jar is nice and its clear that the developer who did this spent a lot of time on it at the expense of everything else in his life like spending time with his girlfriend Anyways overall great concept that is very well executed                 Great app truly zen

But could you have an erase button and save feature              Good

Thank you for making the iPad version a free upgrade with the iPhone version I have a few paintingdrawing apps but this one is still my favorite for doodling                 iPad version rocks
