The search engine does NOT work I havent had the app work at all     Search Engine

What the heck This doesnt allow us to copy and paste for easier quoting in our papers and we cant even use the ctrl f shortcut or Find shortcut to find keywords for easier studying I guess they did this so people couldnt cheat on papers Yet Blackboard has a program to catch plagerism Why why limit us customers on how we use this app I feel so cheated Buy the eBook from the publisher or some other site not Yuzu Life will be easier without this appsite     Cant copy paste or use Find

Highlighting text is a nightmare When you go to select something it ends of highlighting nothing that you wanted Either end up double clicking and zooming or clicking the wrong part of the iPad and turning the page or selecting the wrong text It would be better if they had a tool where you could just run your finger over what you wanted to highlight It would also be nice to have a text to speech button so that it would read the text for you As a teacher that would benefit my IEP students     Awful

I cannot even access my book right now because it says there was a problem downloading it It was working perfectly fine when I first started using it Then when I went back to read another chapter it started acting up and now I cannot access the book I paid 103 for The fact that the creators of this app have not made any improvements is unacceptable Fix it     Needs Major Improvements

TERRIBLE This app has been a waste of money time and hard work Ive spent hours highlighting taking notes and reading only to have them erased after syncing I have called customer service three times in the past two months and they have yet to help me resolve the issue They have offered to give me a gift card but this does not help me succeed in my Graduate school courses I recommend buying the hardcopy     GradStudent

Ive never used an app that Ive loathed as poignantly as Yuzu Reading a textbook or more accurately attempting to read is excruciating Each page takes at least 5 times longer to load than it does to read It is absolutely ridiculous I await Barnes Nobles impending doom with great anticipation     A great example of Barnes Nobles dedication to failure

The title of my review says it all All complain on the highlighting feature being a huge fail And that average load time to turn to the next page is 10 seconds and not practically instant Im just starting this semester and theres no used books Im not spending 150 for something Ill only use once This seemed like the best option I hope its not too terrible But everything points in that direction Barnes and Noble please pay you developer to fix and maintain your app Its an embarrassment     I wish I read the reviews before buying my first eBook

This app is really bad Its hard to read the book and can only be read online Its very cumbersome and not user friendly It definitely needs some beta testing Dont use it Read the other reviews for a more comprehensive reason to not use this app     Beware

I have a test tomorrow The app keeps giving me an error when I try to access my textbook then crashes when I go to redownload it The web browser isnt much betterit wont let me scroll down so I can only view about 34 of each page I will NEVER purchase a book that requires me to use yuzu ever again These bad reviews go back MONTHS Why hasnt something been done The developers of this app are nothing short of common thieves at this point Save yourself the headache and just purchase a hard copy of whatever book you need     Unacceptable

I thought this would are reading and taking notes on the book much easier than the hard copy but I was completely wrong I would much rather have the hard copy now that I have used this app Wont be buying anymore etext books through BN for the rest of college and I suggest you dont either     Terrible App DONT Download

I cannot believe that this app still exists and that we continue to allow BN to profit on ebooks that are inefficient and insanely annoying to use Try the search function Ha Good luck to anyone trying to finish an online exam in an allotted period of time And where do all those highlighted passages go Nowhere So dont bother The yuzu web app is even worse Hopefully I can pass my classes with this stupidity ruling my life     Aggravating

Yuzu recently updated and the overall performance has definitely improved Features a page number selector to allow for quick access so you dont have to waste time waiting to find the right page                 Significant Update Improvements

I havent had any of the problems mentioned by other reviewers The app has been very helpful              No problems for me

Using this for my textbooks and its asking me twice as long to read because it doesnt work well with iOS 9 and keeps crashing Would be such a great function and benefit to normal text books if this would work quicker and supported multi tasking capabilities on iOS 9        Glitchy slow not great e reader

Its pretty terrible Force closes often Ive spent more time waiting for the pages to load than actually reading the books And the highlight button is in the bottom middle of the page and doesnt disappear which is infuriating If my school didnt require using bn for renting ebooks I wouldnt even bother     Worst ebook app out there

If you have the option to get a hard copy of whatever text you need do yourself a favor and skip the Yuzu version This application is slow cumbersome to use lacks the study areas and links that come with traditional books will not allow you to copyprint relevant sections for notes To summarizebad product     Worst digital reader Ive ever used

I remember a time before Barnes and Noble gave any care at all to their etextbooks Those were dark times Yuzu had been a long time coming and so was this review Finally BB got their act together and made my textbooks portable The app is well put together and is deserving of those fancy signatures of the programmers in the credits Of course the app isnt without shortcomings but Im not complaining Im just glad I have portable textbooks that dont lag Thanks Yuzu Youve made studying that much easier                 Im Glad

This app keeps crashing or telling me it cannot download the book I need It is very inconvenient when I need to use the book in class The website freezes as well pleas improve the app and make my money worthwhile     NOOOO stop crashing

The app takes forever to load the text book jumps to the glossary every time you try to high light high lighting takes the patience of Job which I definitely dont have When you write a note it doesnt even save so you end up losing all your notes this needs some serious improvements Im about ready to ask for a refund              What a nightmare

Dear reader it seems this app has had some hasty reviews This is indeed a book reading app and it is not that difficult to out books on it Just redeem a code online then sync the app The little problems I have run into were solved quickly and diligently by the customer service which is excellent Give something a try before you give it one star The rating almost led me away from Yuzu Im glad they are inaccurate                 On Yuzu

I dont think this thing can be anymore slower but then I think it could Even the website on is slow You cant change the size of the text so you dont have to swipe every 10 seconds and cuts off material Not impressed at all     Slowest Digital Reader

Ive had this app for about a year now and Ive really loved it for the most part About two updates ago though it became much slower than it had been Particularly the search feature Before I could look up a specific word and within a minute it would show all the places the word is used in the book It would respond even faster if the word was highlighted This was my favorite feature of the app But now it takes multiple minutes for the search feature to find anything Its faster to search through the pages than to wait for search which makes it essentially useless Everything else is great though If search feature was faster I would give 5 stars           Love it but

Doesnt have ANY of the books I need for class where Amazon kindle does The platform is nice but so is amazons Plus on kindle I can get other books for leisure when Im not studying or even other study aids with kindle unlimited        Kindle app serves better

I bought a digital textbook to lighten my load when traveling and be able to read it on flights without internet however the iPad app doesnt work on my iPad Mini 2 with Retina I can launch the app but downloading the book gives me an Adobe error Support tried to help but theyve never seen this before and after trying all of their suggestions uninstalling reinstalling signing out them recreating the backend Adobe account they offered to have the bookstore refund the purchase Im still waiting for the bookstore manager to contact me Im disappointed because I have used other ebook platforms like Inkling and iBooks before and those platforms were awesome I saved on chiropractor bills during law school thanks to Inkling so I was really looking forward to being able to get my MBA books on my iPad The web app is useless to me as I travel often and need to be able to read books while on nonInternet enabled flights BN should have just partnered with Inkling or Apple for their ebook platform instead of distributing this barely alpha stage app     BN should have done more testing before release

I literally have had this app for 12 hours and it already does not work It cant find my one textbook and it keeps asking to download I ignored all the bad revues and downloaded this anyway A waste of time     Skip this app

Please do not buy this You are paying good money to be a beta tester Barnes and Noble has managed to show how the old way of doing things is far superior to this new fangled technology     Horrible

I almost caved to the reviews and didnt give this app a try but I am so glad that I did This was the only app that was offering an Ebook for my textbook and at a fraction of the price It has all the basic features that I need such as multiple highlight colors bookmarks real book simulation and you can reference your highlights like the Kindle app This app is definitely made for college students who need basic features clean presentation cheap books and none of the messiness of the kindle app Kindle is great for reading regular books but the textbooks I purchased off of kindle read like PDF files and could not be read in the manner that your average Harry Potter book could as only one page could be read at a time The layout on YUZU is cleaner cut easier to use and great for college students                 My Favorite Textbook App

Uh it worksbut I cant believe how long it takes to load a page or a term when you search for it This is a digital textbook isnt it Im using an iPad Air This is obviously a problem on the developers side        Inelegant

This app is horrible Loading of pages is slow Search function is slow Formulas are often indecipherable how useful is an economics text book if you cannot read the formula Text layout is random and page breaks are never in the same place Very disappointed     Horrible

The search feature is pretty much useless so dont even waste your time Part of why I got the eBook version of my textbook but now that I realize its so slow its not worth using I am very disappointed The highlighting feature also leaves something to be desired I got a stylus to enable highlighting but the book highlights as it pleases Most of the time I end up highlighting more than I want and it seems impossible to then remove the mark A few times whole pages have been highlighted and Ive had to struggle to then remove anything Ultimately this has led to a whole bunch of undesired things being highlighted Ive also experienced a few glitches where the app just crashes or it doesnt go past the loading page screen Furthermore sometimes the pages just become blurry and I have to refresh them to get them back to normal For as much as I paid for my textbook I expected more of this app     Slow and glitchy

First I had issues with my books downloading and contacted Yuzu customer service and ended up solving the problem on my own and never received any help from customer service Then after I finally got the books downloaded I have struggled all semester getting the pages to load and it has been such a hassle I would definitely recommend Amazon Kindle app for eTextbooks instead     Dont waste your time

Too many glitches plus important missing text and table due to copyright issues What a rip off     Horrible Just buy the hard copy
