Yellowstone Driving Tour

There is very little information and a lot of that is repeated over and over There is also earwig music that becomes quite annoying after the first few times Pass this one by     Not worth the price

This app is amazing It knows where your going and where your at My kids loved it We spent hours driving the loop and learned about everything Just push pause when you need to stop and take some pictures of the animals you just learned about from the app Five stars for sure                 Wow its like having a personal tour guide with us

I have been to Yellowstone numerous times in the past 30 years I remember when you just drove around and wondered what things were and where you were at HA HA HA never again Last year I brought some friends from back east to Yellowstone we downloaded an app it was ok we spent most of our time reading our phones and not taking pictures or having a good time Well this year actually 2 days ago I arrived here with 2 of my kids and 6 of my grandkids I had the same app and the night before we were going to start going through the park this app came out Thank you to whom ever made this app WOW what a huge improvement over my old app The next day my two kids had this app and 4 of my grandkids The grandkids plugged their earphones in listened to their music all while using this app All of us had a much better time by using this app as we were able to look at everything around us take pictures and be guided as to where we wanted to go This app is fantastic I wish I had this same exact app for all the places we go and vacation                 WOW A must for anyone going to Yellowstone

We are planning a trip to Yellowstone this summer and this app caught my eye I really enjoyed the audio tour so I can focus on the sights The audio was very informative and gave good insight into the landscape and wildlife Also the ability to play my own music when the audio tour is not going is a great feature I would highly recommend this app to anyone planning on going to yellowstone              Great for Geology

Just got back on my first tour of Yellowstone and I bought two driving apps This was by far the best It was timed from makor stopping points and so that it would know roughly when to talk about certain sites I liked that the tour guide provided history and background information while there was little to see And it seemed that everytime he talked about a bison or moose or otherwildlife we would just happen to see one His voice was well recorded and information was very helpful I rate it 5 stars but I hope the developer does add some features in the next update It would be great if the unit relied on GPS to know what section of the park you were in Also because its a long drive there should be an option to turn off the screen if you dont have an iphone charger to save batteries Finally I would rather there not be a guitar interlude but more talking or just silence And it should ensure that some parts are not repeated I think Ive memorized the history of the park due to the repetiveniss of some parts But still was fantastic                 Fantastic app

Good app to listen to between stops on upper and lower loops of the park Info is geared for all ages but we found it to be informative and a good buy I recommend this as a good supplement to park info              Nice app

Thanks for giving us something to look forward to using on our trip to Yellowstone This is exactly what we were looking for when we went last year I am excited to not have to read the information on the park and get car sick at the same time                 Super App

Thanks for the iOS6 update Just wish I had it a couple of days earlier for the beginning of our week in Yellowstone The most useful app I have seen for Yellowstone                 Great app

Seems the audio problems have been addressed The info plays over iPad speakers and all can listen Beautiful photos maps and educational info Am on way to Yellowstone and hoping all info correlates to actual Will update when get back                 Really nice

Ive never felt inclined to write a review but just had to let people know how awesome this app is Purchased it the day before our entry into the Park Although there could have been directions on exactly how to use it to use your own music you had to select exactly 15 songs and I could never get the ones I wanted had no trouble selecting play all though the app was worth far more than its 299 price If you start the tour just as you begin a section and drive the posted speed the points of interest come up on the narrative just before you approach them giving you a chance to decide whether to stop Because of this feature we took the least traveled road in Yellowstone one of the original roads and were rewarded with a private view of one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the park There was also a swimming area which was currently closed When there were no upcoming points of interest there was a lesson with beautiful photograps on one of the many wildlife in the area We were a little short on time and LOVED the fact we could choose our own route I really could go onThis app is worth far more than the price paid and we have the pictures and narrative to experience again whenever we want Thank you whoever created this                 Incredible app

I am so excited to use this app on my upcoming trip to Yellowstone with the family I can play the audio to the kids on the way to our next site and not worry about reading anything or boring them with my rambling I can also let the kids listen to their music selection when not using the audio Great app                 Super

I gave this app two stars only because I like the pick your route interface Apart from the that theres not much to it except Wikipedia photos and a narration of 14 wildlife species 1 min each on average some points of interest only 20 and only 5 audio narrations on geology The driving tour is simply you selecting your own music on your device and flicking through photos along the different routesa little weird and not very intuitive However what bugs me the most are all these obviously fake five star reviews Something fishy here folksproceed with caution        Fake reviews a below average app

Has lots of really cool information nice to pick section of route you are on and then get a tour while on route as well as listen to your music I dont know about the review below but seems as if something acted up cuz with us there was an audio tour not just pics For me thats a big deal cuz I get sick if I try to read while in the car              Solid app

There is a lot of really neat information on Yellowstone in this app I recommend it to anyone planning a trip there Being able to use my own music with the app is a really nice touch too                 Great app

The Yellowstone App has very nice maps and great info But the sound does not play through the iPad speaker The audio narration can only be heard through earphones That makes it bad for others that want to hear it and you cannot play it through you car radio system to listen to while you drive through the park Poor programming of the audio makes this app not worth the money     Yellowstone App
