I love the game love love it I like the music and everything great game its all worth it                 Good game love it

Two hours after playing this game I am still creeped out and unwilling to leave my room Year walks gripping narrative will leave you pondering the mysteries of the universe and question your very own existence                 Surgical implantation of fear

This game is creepy puzzling and pulls at your emotions all at once It tests your mind by making it think outside the box and using all your resources With its ties to mythology and stunning artwork its easily one of my personal favorite IOS games I HIGHLY recommend you download the free companion app as it plays a bigger part than you might think                 Fantastic

Stuck there at the beginning Dont know whats going on at all Can not continue playing it even with the tips     Totally a Trash

What a waste of money I wandered lost forever finally watched a walkthru on YouTube Most of it is NOT LOGICAL So unless you do cryptogram stuff and maybe not even then give this a pass I have no idea where the reviewer who said is is meant to take a week got that idea You can pkay as long as you like including wandering aimlessly Thumbs down     No logic have to use walkthru

First off I love Simogo games I own all but Sailors Dream which I have no intent on buying Not because it doesnt look good but because Simogo makes games then never updates them Dont buy a Simogo game if you expect a game to be continually updated for each new device and newest version of iOS Simogo is a cash grab company A game released in 2014 will not receive an update in 2015 Device 6 and Year Walk which were released in 2013 didnt receive any 2014 updates and prolly wont be updated and optimized for the newest iPhones in 2015 Just say no to Simogo Let them know you only support developers who continue to support their games years after the game was released Kairosoft and Simogo shouldnt be given a dime until they give back to their current users who bought their older games     Great Games by Money Hungry Company

This game is super short Like total time to complete around 1hr Many of the puzzles make no sense at all Such as the stone levels by the church gate The movement is confusing and frustrating No real story line I give 2 stars purely on the aesthetics Its pretty das all it has        Very short puzzles nonsensical

Amazing atmospheric puzzlenarrative game Definitely a unique experience and perfect for gamers who like to learn a game and solve puzzles using experimentation and creative thinking One thing you must do in order to be successful is download and use the companion guide Its not a walkthrough or hint guide but a component to the game                 Wow

This is honestly one of the best games Ive ever played I love the graphics and the eeriness of everything the puzzles arent too hard or too easy and everything is just wow there werent any bugs either I do suggest getting the companion app as well though because it really helps you understand things this was a really good game                 Woaahh

I loved the thought put into Year Walk Its beautiful the sounds go perfectly at every part Yet I just didnt like the actual game Its very different than other games Its an interactive narrative where you explore and try to find the story Unfortunately in the bewildering woods youll find yourself going in circles for ages Im not bad at puzzles but Id miss some of the small clues and just wander forever looking for the next step Also if you dont like creepy thingsjust dont play this It is scary as silly as that sounds for an app it really is In the end it felt like so much random work for no reward I didnt enjoy the bloody heads popping out as a reward for figuring out the next step It just wasnt my kind of game        Pretty but confusing

First off Id like to say that Im glad that this game exists It does a lot of things in interesting ways and Im sure that many future game makers will take inspiration from it in one way or another Id also like to say that Im not glad that I purchased this game personally The puzzles arent particularly fun or satisfying from a pure gameplay perspectiveI can say quite confidently that this game would not have been widely celebrated on the strength of its puzzles aloneand the plot not to my taste I think a lot of people were impressed by this games story because it is unusual and ends up being quite powerful Its also incredibly morbid and if you arent into that sort of thing you likely wont enjoy it I dont mean its merely depressingRomeo and Juliet is depressing I dont mean it has morbid overtonesBergmans Seventh Seal has morbid overtones This is morbid It is bereft of any sort of positive life affirming sentiment whatsoever That may be your cup of tea it isnt mine Frankly Id rate this as at least a three if there werent so many positive reviews already Someone needs to speak for those who dont like this sort of thing As a side note I will add that as so many have stated that if you do decide to purchase this app the free companion app will improve your experience considerably I highly recommend that you read it over before playing the game It adds much needed context and it is important for other reasons as well Suffice it to say that as long as this game is installed on your device the companion should be as well        Having beaten this game I can say that its not for everyone

If Limbo is 5 stars l this game is a 2 Its short Its boring Its small There is one or two concepts that take a bit of IQ but youll complete it with average intelligence in less than an hour Gameplay is numb simple and easy        Seriously

I saw this game while searching the Internet for a good horror game At first the description wasnt a oh my god I have to get this game now but because I was bored I decided to give it a try This game was worth every penny From the artwork to the fascinating story line to how the music changes after each puzzle Year Walk continually has a eerie sense throughout the game that will leave you on the edge of your seat Also the companion app is free and as well as almost necessary to receive extra information about the events of the game I suggest this game to anyone who would appreciate small details and wants a thrill that will leave you thinking about it for days                 highly recommend

I never write reviews for apps but had to give the creators of Year Walk the praise they deserve This game is such a creative blend of art and storytelling It seems innocent at first but quickly turns terrifying if played in the dark with headphones on The puzzles are the right level of difficulty to be fun and intriguing without being annoyingly difficult Definitely worth every cent and worth playing over again just to experience the story and music over again Cant praise this game enough                 BEAUTIFUL

This is my first time buying a game of this nature and I am so clueless right now I went to support to try and find help but n luck there Im in this cave where the door open and I find myself in a continuous row of rocks and a shining light This game cost a lot of money And I might have to delete it        Kind of Sad

Just about the worst app Ive boughten Starts slow plays slow stupidly boring Wasted all that money I could have bought a Taco Bell dinner for that and what would have came out would have been more interesting to look at than this game     What a joke

I can absolutely appreciate the intended art behind this app especially how it coheres at the end but thats really the only place it does cohere Dont get me wrong done properly thats a great tactic but this app just felt like I was running around randomly get screamed at by different characters which made it really hard for me to feel invested in the storyline Obviously that kind of became an issue for me because the storyline is the driving trait of this app I dont expect this comment to have any significance but those are my thoughts regardless     Just made me uncomfortable

This game is one of the best games ever created The music and the artwork add to creepy atmosphere to make it an amazing experience The only neg of this game is the obscurity of the plot You really have to pay attention to the game But other than that this game is a beautiful masterpiece                 Amazing

I have been searching lately for more dark heady difficult puzzle games with a nice story and this is it I love the lack of instruction and how you actually have to use your own creativity to see subtle patterns and solve each task Overall such a lovely game that was beautiful to play                 So much fun

At first this was a super cool app Then it got too creepy so I deleted it The age should be 15 So all of yall 12 year olds be prepared If you love creepy stuff go ahead but this just wasnt for me        Too Creepy

After fumbling my way around and around when I finally figured out what to do it was extremely rewarding Unlike any other game Ive ever played Year Walk gave me a very beautiful and immersive experience Initially after finishing the game I was just a little unsatisfied because what was the story exactly The companion was such a joy of a bonus and completely fulfilled my hunger for meaning I really appreciate all of the background information and the effort put into the storyline making for a truly satisfying finish I was initially intrigued by this game because of its Swedish folklore base Being part Swedish and having the last name Nilsson imagine my surprise when one of the characters has almost the same name as me It was totally awesome                 Immersive

The story just ends up repeating it self an its really sad even though it is fun an great graffecs I must say it needs more improvement but I recommend it                 Quite disappointing

This game is a beautiful atmospheric horror story based on the folklore around Year Walking There are things you need to know to maximize your experience 1 Download the FREE Year Walk Companion App its 100 necessary for the full experience Read the folklore and at the end of the game pay attention to the code it gives you you use it to login into the companion app for the next piece of content 2 EVERYTHING is a clue that leads to the next one That object just turned to water Go check out the one place with running water 3 when you need to move objects and move the map use one finger to hold the object and another or your other hand to move the map 4 grab a notebook and pen and take notes of everything you come across By instinctually following all of the above I finished this masterpiece in just under 2 hours I read EVERYTHING 4 for an amazing piece of folklore told through an atmospheric horror story is well worth it I imagine it will take the average person 34 hours to get through everything if you read everything and use the companion app I just happen to be a minderbender puzzle master Anyways get the apps and enjoy the game                 Atmospheric horror folklore
