WTHR - A Simpler, More Beautiful Weather App

Great interface seems like the accuracy issues are now fixed                 Beautiful

I just bought version 1 Now running iOS 8 I see description says to run version 2 which will cost again Sorry No     Have to buy version 2 also

Im seeing reviews on people hating the simple and modern look of this app but tbh I am one of those people who prefer it I personally have no reason for the convoluted nonsense so if others need that there are other apps on here However I would definitely change 3 aspects of this though 1 Words and s are either too light or too dark against the backdrop 2 The radar dial needs to be faster Too slow if you need a hurried reading 3 Stop advertising your second version Although I eventually downloaded it so I guess you guys made your point Other than that I love it              LOVE This

We all know weather can be tough to predict but this app is offWaaaay off Im currently outside in a snow storm and it says its 45 and sunny I love the design but to be an app that gives you weather info it fails miserably I should have read the reviews before wasting my     Nice Interface Horribly Inaccurate

Its pouring outside but the app shows 0 chance of precipitationThe display is in faint grey and barely readable just as well I couldnt change F to C nor the forecast location Useless Works only in places where the weather happens to coincide with their forecast     Sorry I paid for it

I love the interface in this app its the main reason I bought it I think the designer should get a prize for it its minimal yet very functional I use the app as much as I can just to look at the interface However the weather measurements are extremely inaccurate It is usually off by 4 or 5 degrees Celsius which is a lot And there is no way to tell what the app thinks your location is I live in Barcelona Spain and I think its measuring Moscow weather its always clear and cold according to the app when the last 2 weeks have been hazy and 15 degrees If the developer could get good data this would be a terrific app I really want to like this app but with inaccurate measurements its pretty useless I always have to go to another app to check what the real temperature is     Gorgeous interface useless measurements

Limitations outlined in other reviews are true Even so I often find myself using this in preference to the application by Apple Simplicity is part of that but it also seems to be more accurate Temperature data seems to more closely track my location with this service I dont know why that might be one would think that Weather Service data would be equally available to all And its a difficult distinction to audit so i cant be absolutely certain But whenever I check the data from this app is better              Minimalist accuracy

I really like this app but it would be even better if it showed my current location I do a lot of traveling so I really dont know if the weather is for my hometown or my current location Again a beautiful app Ill install it again if this gets updated Thank you              Not bad

Its supposedly a pay version temporarily free but with the in app ads and jabs at getting you to upgrade its nothing worth the time or effort Its basically just pretty with nothing of any value even regarding weather reports Of course maybe the upgrade adds more features but then why advertise it as a pay for app temporarily free when its nothing but a ad driven freebie type anyway Not worth the time or effort move on     What a joke

Great UI but the free download for the day is just a way to get you to pay to upgrade I deleted after a few min I can see that most of the free download of the day apps are going to be bait switch deals     Nice but limited

The GPS bug has persisted through several versions and is still a problem in 232 The app leaves location services on when its not running Seriously the only reason I still keep this app is out of curiosityhow many years until this is fixed     Unbelievable

This app must use Yahoo weather or something like it because it is continually wrong Between other apps there is today a 24 degree difference in the high temps        Inaccurate weather

App has veered into the wildly inaccurate Weather Channel for one day this week shows 61 degrees partly cloudy low chance of precip Weather Dial shows 44 86 chance of rain What This app keeps giving me issues and although cool is foolish to use unless you like walking outside in a polo to find its snowing        Revision

The app looks great However it has yet to be consistently correct at my home location When I am in the downtown area of my city the app is usually correct For example right now the app reports that the weather is 57 and raining It is actually 66 and partly cloudy Huh     Inaccurate depending on location

Disappointed Cant change location and does not give detailed weather description The dial is kind of useless I regrets my purchase     Bad bad bad

Started out as this clean easy to read use app Then they listened to the morons idiots that post reviews Adding to that the second guessing of their own work and now this app is one big mess This app is no longer what it was originally sold as If I could get a refund I would Hopefully the developers will realize what a mess they have made for the idiots of the world put in a classic or original mode to return the app to its original usefulness     Was great now useles

Weather apps are a strange bunch What I need is simply the weather not a calendar with a host of additional bloated features That takes up unnecessary space especially when the smartest iOS calendars are clearly Fantastical Agenda Calendar 4 and Calendars 5 by Readdle If theres time to geek out I go to forecastio via browser for detailed animated maps and charts etc Otherwise Weather Dial powered by the reliable forecastio API brings a simple pairing of flat design and a delightful analog sensibility that doesnt get in the way I get the info I need immediately I move on with my day                 Sensibility and Forecastio

I so wanted this app to work well that I took my chances despite what some of the reviews say It IS a beautiful app even the icon is simple But the data is just wrong The app is telling me that it is clear 75 It is getting the temp right But comparing it to multiple other sources however things go wrong Everyone else says partly cloudy which it is It is telling me that tomorrow when there is an 18 chance of rain it will be windy and cloudy all other sources suggest thunderstorms for tomorrow On Thursday and Friday it is telling me it will be clear and sunny But it is also telling me there is a 73 and 100 chance of rain respectively Multiple other sources say cloudy and rainy for those days although the odds are not as high Maybe the app knows something the Weather Channel does not But the Clear and Sunny 100 chance of rain is making me think twice        This is a beautiful app but the data is just plain wrong

I like the simple design but the light background is too light and makes it difficult to read I also disagree that a radar map is too much info I get the whole minimalist thing but a simple clear map would be good Also I dont understand the light and shadows on the hourly or day interface There seems to be no correlation to actual sunrise or sunset time Look forward to updates           Its kind of cool

This weather app has been on my first home screen for almost a year now It gives me all the important weather information right away and the forecasts are incredibly accurate thanks to Forecastio integration Forecastio alone makes this worth it in my opinion                 Great weather app

App was working fine but suddenly its giving me a network error when I have full service All other apps can load data perfectly        No Network Found

Downloaded it after a glowing review online said it was beautiful Hardly Numbers are small and hard to read No option to see weather at any other location Most of the screen is taken up with the useless dial that serves no useful purpose Glad I didnt pay for it        Disappointed

This App does NOT work in Arizona In the weekly forecast below Am I correct in saying that the RED indicator is supposed to point to the current day Why is mine always a day behind     Current Day is WRONG

This app is basic beautiful and super easy to use Does exactly what is supposed to do tell you the weather Design is great This app is much prettier and more Apple than the actual apple weather app Should come on every iphone straight out of the box NOTE GPS is fixed you will just need to reset locations services in your phone settings Like the new updates And seriously The GPS function is fixed just follow the directions given or email the creator Its user error at this point Any update since version 1 hasnt had that problem                 Simple easy to use should come on every iphone

I love this weather app Its my favorite very accurate and the display is second to none I give it 4 stars because there is no windchill display Living in central MN especially in the winter months windchill is a very important statistic Other than that this weather app nails it Worth the 2              Very Clean

Its a really slick app but on my 4S the location services are CONSTANTLY on even when the app is closed This is a battery drain and is frustrating because I cant tell when another app might be using location services Please fix If I revoke location services privileges from this single app my location services icon instantly goes away           Location services ALWAYS on
