This is a bloated app that wont even let me read a full article without crashing Requires 717 MB of storage for a newsreader Seriously That is enough to store decades of content Just lazy dumb programming to use so much space and not surprisingly it does not run reliably The app also uses its own idiosyncratic set of navigation gestures You dont swipe up and down to scroll and article you have to swipe sideways Confusing sidebars and massive numbers of ads inserted in the content stream Pathetic app cannot even read an article without it crashing
Not sure why but app content seems to be one or two days late rendering app useless Really wish that content was more frequently updated Shame that wsj has such a great news app but fails with video content App is ok but content is far from live or even recent
Awesome presentation of content and great story selection I love putting it on during long drives However connectivity goes in and out so it switches between audio only and video When its in audio only mode it will go to the lock screen after a minute or two and the audio stops annoying I can change that in my phone settings but I think thats a problem on wsjs end Fix it and its a 5 star app in my opinion Great app but

HoHum Another WJS App update Still with bugs in latest update lots of crashes when you are trying to read an article But more importantly their frequent total makeovers dont seem to address the major problemsthey just put a new user interface in place and hope the problems will go away which they dont Too bad they just dont stick with one design long enough to get rid of the bugsHey WSJI just want to read the news Save the flashy screens and designs for a gaming app and give me a stable reliable app where I can easily find the news and information I want and dont need to worry about crashes Quirky and Full of Bugs
WSJ is the best app in presenting the content and in the quality of content I havent seen any news videos app like this The best app in news streaming

This is an awesome app The categorized content is wideraging and of interest the reports are lengthy but realistically so 46 minutes The interface is user friendly and handsome too I love the minimalist layout The video reports are intelligent and thankfully not showy or sensationalistic No shouting among guests no ridiculous graphics I dont have cable or satellite This fills a huge hole in my consumption of news I am appreciative of fact that I dont have to sign in or be a subscriber to get WSJ news Thank you Excellent
This app has one major flaw whenever a new video starts the control bar and title bar magically appear at the top of the screen and block off a quarter of the video picture This happens every time a new video starts meaning that you have to go in and tap the screen every time a new video starts Makes this app ineffective at best Screen blocked on iPhone 6
I am listening to commentary on financial developments today Monday at 120 pm only to realize the commentary was done on the past Friday I am very disappointed the the WSJ does not clearly mark the date of the interview and can not produce more timely reviews and commentators Peter Dating news on WSJ Live
Went to check out the latest stories and noticed that the app completely freezes your entire iPhone upon launching So dont open the Wall Street Journal live until you see a more recent updated version date older than September 17 2015 NOT iOS 9 READY

Just tried the app and was impressed with the variety and quality of the content but then came the first of too many ads I couldnt find a way to get out of the ad to get back to actual content I had to close the app completely to stop the ad video Im a subscriptionpaying subscriber to WSJ content Why am I being forced to sit through all these too many too long ads Good content but ADnauseum
Good topics users can choose stories to view The disappearing and reappearing toolbar needs redesign The repeating ad after every other clip is a nuisance and causes you to give up Positives and Negatives

This is a worthless application Dont bother if you want to get current news or financial information All this app does is stream random newsclips There is no way to browse for news stories You just get whatever they decide to stream and much of it is outdated Useless
It would be better if the news are filtered through some rule for example the most important news of all fields and then less important of all fields and then repeat Its good to have continuous news videos
When I subscribed to WSJ a couple of years ago I did not experience app freezes while reading the daily edition With the last two updates the number of app freezes have increased to several every day My iOS software is up to date Very frustrating experience App freezes multiple times everyday
The app doesnt show live programs and provides no navigation to its live programming Today I tried to watch the PM NewsHub It started to play the programming I then left the app to answer a text When I returned the app cut to a clip about PSHs deathI think The video was just a clip of the prison scene from Capote Odd Its name is a lie

The content and ideas are always great especially Lee Hawkins There are some strange ones though where the reporters are skyping in and look like theyre on weird hotel rooms with bad quality video Love these videos
