Writer`s Studio

I really enjoy this writing app its great for making stories books sharing with friends or sending to my family The built in Tutorial is super helpful I just tap the button whenever I need a tip Lots of included features free online Cloud Clip Art and the new iBooks export is huge This thing is powerful and surprisingly easy to use My little note I love buying Universal Apps for their value why pay twice I use this on my iPhone 6 now and my iPad Air works great on both I imagine this would be great for school work and presentations as well but Ive just used it for Story Books really enjoy it Thanks                 Wonderful Book Story App

Im on ipad 2 I can only draw on 23 of the screen If Im in landscape 13 or more of the SIDE of my screen cant be drawn on in portrait the bottom 13 cant be drawn on it just stays white the marks stop Is this normal Even if I want to type my text there I should still be able to have color there And in landscape it doesnt make sense to put text where it cuts off Fix the rating will go up to at least 4 s maybe 5 Ive stopped playing with app bc I have better ones than this        Its okay

This is the least intuitive program Ive ever used In one instance my work got lost In another instance both toolbars disappeared midpainting I was nowhere near the tabs at the time including the sidetabs that are supposed to bring it back I even had my husband who has extensive experience with design programs take a look at it and he also found it to be a frustrating program to work with I probably will delete it and look for another program as I spend at least as much time troubleshooting as I do actually creating content     Not intuitive at all

I like being able to have many options and settings which so far this app has given The voice that reads words aloud is sort of weird and monotonous but thats not a problem Anyways this is a really good app                 Really good

Needs a video tutorial that takes you through The has basic written information but leaves a lot of information out such as the TTS function Just trying to create a test file for sound was confusing Also very unclear on the output format Can it upload to iBooks Still not sure and the website is not at all helpful as it just links back to the app store Looks like it could be very useful if clearer tutorial and better understanding on output        Confusing and limited use

Your app no longer works as it used to IT WONT SELECT OTHER COLORS FIX IT           FIX IT

Back then I loved this app Now I cant change my font or if I go to the stickers category I cant go back to something else If this gets changed I might redownload it from iCloud        Ugh

I cant tell you how many book apps Ive downloaded but I actually use this one It is so much more than a glorified word processor Try it you wont be sorry              I Actually Use This One

The purpose of a review is to give constructive criticism say what is useful about the app and what can be added or changed in the app to make it worthwhile That being said I use this app with my special needs students to create simple stories and its very engaging and handson Customer service is excellent They even follow up with you eager to help if need be Keep up the good work and keep the updates coming                 Great appexcellent customer serviceexemplary company

Add interactive button option for this to change pages something like how buttons are implemented in Hyperstudio and you would have something pretty close to a simple HyperCard app              Quick Thought

With all the recent updates it is much easier and simpler to use I love this app but the only things I would add is a magnification tool and maybe an undo button Other than that it is an amazing app and I wouldnt hesitate to rebuy it              Well Made

I saved my work and also saw the app saving automatically but then its nowhere to be found Like it never existed This really bites Im deleting the stupid thing     Crashes

As an artist and mother of five I love this app Worth every penny and then some Has even replaced some other apps Ive used for years all in one spot Cant go wrong with this purchase                 Excellent app

This is a fairly good writing app It has ALMOST everything I would want The one thing it doesnt have is a clip art search Like on Microsoft word You type in a word into the search engine and clip art appears Add that and I will rate it a 5           Good app

I really didnt know I could do all this on my phone I was able to make a great looking little book and email it and everyone had a wonderful time with it Fun Pretty easy to figure out if you take a moment to look over things I especially like all the clip art and access to extra art for Free Update I just got around to working with the Text to Speech very very nice For what its worth works great on my iPhone 5 and all looks pretty so Im not sure I understand why anyone would have any issue with it Im going to get an iPad mini for Christmas Im sure ill love it on that too                 Wow Very nice

First off this is a great app However I couldnt find an undo button I enjoyed using the draw brush but every time I made a mistake I had to select and cut the unwanted parts Count find a delete option either The eraser is fine but could use different sizes The app has a good paint editor but lacks proper erasing options Now since this app is essentially a writing app it would be nice if there could be a pure text mode So in the main loading screen the user could choose to write a new story whether its an art book or just a simple text novel That way only the desired tools would be accessible making the experience less tedious Also a good navigation and storage system would be nice by which the pages would be compiled as a book and books as collections making the app more efficient The app is unique but lacks features that regular writing pad style apps provide It needs more work to incorporate all relevant writing features to truly deserve the writers studio title           Ok but needs word

Absolutely magnificent App Super powerful and super easy to use Takes you from idea to eBook with great tools and little effort Very surprised to read anyone would think this is difficult to use Wow if you can figure out how to buy an App you sure can figure out how to use this one What is more if youre planing to create something like a book and you cant read simple instruction or just figure it out um well Anyway thank you for the great App                 The Best Book Creator

This app gets plenty of good reviews so it must work well for some people It does have a lot of features but none of them seem to work smoothly on their own and they definitely dont work well together for me Ive worked my way through the features to put together a few books in video format but every single time I try to upload a video book the app crashes The app doesnt cost much so if you get even one good book from it then its worth the money but for me its just been a complete waste of time I wanted to like this but I hate to waste time on something that just crashes anyway     One of my least favorite apps

A most impressive app I cant think of anything it doesnt have Apps like this are worth their weight in Gold and are what make the devices extremely powerful tools                 Writers Studio

I loved it at first so Im giving it 2 but it deleted my entire book I was on chapter 6 I worked really hard on it and now its gone So I promise you I am crying cause of my book that was completely deleted so that is horrible if I see it there I will change my review        Im litterlly crying

When using CLIP ART and placing the clip art on the screen I find it difficult to move the clip art to the exact LOCATION that I want it to be I think some Plus and Minus buttons would be very helpful for being able to accomplish this There are plus and minus buttons to adjust the SIZE of the clip art but no buttons to adjust the PLACEMENT of the clip art Adding buttons to adjust the placement of the clip art would save me a lot of time and make the app more pleasant to use So far this is the only thing I would like to see to improve this app I love everything else Thanks              WHAT IS NEEDED

It appears to do EVERYTHING but the most important thing independently setting bold italics adjusting font size on individual words Everything has to be the same size including titles subtitles the whole bit This studio is useless to compose a book     No Text Editing Are you nuts

I just bought this app and asking for a refund I cannot figure out how to use this I want something simple that I can jot my ideas down and have it put together in a book view This does not deliver     Asking for refund

To quote customer serviceLandscape is supported on iPad but not iPhoneiPod touch Well that leaves me out And the old fingers are just too fat for those little buttons     Every Feature but Landscape

Disappointed with difficulties right off the bat program hangs a lot undo function doesnt always work causing you to try individual page deletion BUT page deletion happens from the FRONT ie your completed pages get wiped out first moving objects is tricky borders are not justified leaving a gap always after shifting wholeframe width photos updown many more issues     Writers studio

I had originally gave this app a 2 however emailed the developers and they gave me a very surprisingly quick response I am not going to lie some of the things could be improved unless the developers write me back and explain how to do what I need but I will say that my previous statement was easily fixed with a little help So if you are not happy with this app or have questions contact the developers and they are happy to help              Getting better

I downloaded this app last night after telling my son a new story we made up about some tractors at bedtime I thought I could use the office document viewingwriting app I had but it had no way to insert pictures So I bought this and hunted down some clipart I used a sketch app to combine some tractor clipart with a muddy road for my background and in a few minutes I had a title page and a tractor making a new road I think the app was rather intuitive and the help page is reasonably clear It seems you can only import certain sizes or formats of pictures as stamps but this wasnt a big issue as you can use big pictures as a background I would like to see a reader mode that lets you read the book with just page turning arrows instead of having to export it but it was easy to export to PDF and email it to myself then access my webmail and open with iBooks The app occasionally crashes on reopening but it apparently saves as you go because relaunching again always brought up my latest revisions even if I hadnt saved them My export to video did fail due to iPad falling asleep I think but everything else about this app is great so I give it 4 stars Start writing those stories down today and buy this app              Great for writing down those stories you tell your kids

I think this app is a great story writing app EXCEPT it keeps crashing on me I wrote about 6 pages then it crashed and started me back at page 2 This happened 3 times before I gave up        If Only

This is given a star For some reason the book froze I saved it and closed out of the program when I returned all my pages were there but blank Nothing left F     Erased my book

Paid for it once and would do so again Just what I needed to customize presentations for listings great and easy to use app Im sure itd be great for books as well                 Great writing app

When I go to write out my book and try to paste words that I already wrote its fine on the first page but if its longer then one page the seconded page will somehow have the first page words overlapping the words that should be on the seconded page        It doesnt paste correctly

Love love love this app Everything works as it should Maybe some dont realize that the app needs to access your Photos in order to save your books properly Incredibly creative and versatile app nothing else out there like it                 Love love love it

Im a big fan of their Paint app so I figured what the heck Ill try this these are just Amazing Studio apps What I really like is the Word Wrap feature Im surprised more Apps dont do this just wild to see Type wrap around Clip Art like that All the Painting features work great for me the Art and Layout controls are just amazing I use this mostly on iPad but it runs great on my iPhone as well soSometimes I just dont get these Reviews like Mc Fly below hello the clear page deletes the Page you are On what did you expect it to do Undo works for me perhaps youre suffering from terminal User Error Or perhaps you guys have an agenda goofy Look based on the Rank this app is enjoyed by thousands they cant all be wrong its just a great app Thanks to the developers                 PageMaker on an iPad or iPhone
