This is one of the over looked apps for 3 to 5 year olds It helped my daughter learn much faster and better when she can trace here name and it talks to you She is now able to understand which way to trace letters more correcly than before She always could trace her letters good but free hand would get her S side ways etc Had hard time with here lower case letters when trying to write free hand I would like to thank the programmer for doing a excellent job We all forget about the hard work that goes into creating applications Great job                     WORTH IT Sivey Ann

It worked great for about a week then the sound stop working     No sound Sunshine sagone

I had it for about two years and it worked fine then it was messed up It only showed half of the screen I got off and went to a different app It showed all of the screen I went back to the Write My Name it still showed half the screen I turned my iPad off then on again I went back to Write My Name and it still showed half the screen Then I got mad and deleted it The truth is I hated it anyway         Good at first then messed up VERITOES

I love this app both for my 2 yr old and my kindergarten students You can write your own name add a picture from your photos and record the name in your or your little one s voice The letters and sight words are great and can be switched between upper and lower cases easily                     Fantastic Michelle from Michoacan

I love this app I use it in my classroom I love that it not only helps with letter formation but they can practice whole words and words of my choosing I wish we could lock the add and delete feature someone keeps deleting cards                 Great app deenajenkins

I absolutely LOVE this app The only thing that changed this to a three star is because it is way too easy to delete the installed names and pictures If you have children that like to go into setting and delete stuff like I do it s very frustrating It would be awesome if you had to put in a simple password to be able to install delete the pictures and names if needed Then I would change this app to a five star without a doubt The rest of the items are great on this app but I would love the password upgrade             Great app but Jacobstwins

My niece has been playing the injini games and now plays with this app She has a bit of love hate for it because she gets so frustrated trying to trace the letters but she is motivated to keep trying to write her name and her friends names On the name tags there is a camera picture that appears to take a screenshot which I would love but so far the pictures are black screens I hope this feature will get tweaked so I can document her writing progress                     My niece loves this AuntieMomMom

Overrated First thing my four years old boy wanted to do is write his name Does not exist He created a tag and the only way to sign his name was with a keyboard There is no where he can trace his own name cannot customize Also the tracing part of the app is not real tracing anyways write on is a better app and cheaper     Overrated Dadofafouryearold

This is the app that keeps on giving My two year old was always looking for somewhere to spell his name with blocks magnets my walls anywhere but on paper He s a very visual tactile learner so he started typing his name on my iPhone Then he wanted to actually write his name but again not on paper So I thought is there an app for that There is Write My Name is the best writing app for beginning learners Not only does it let you type in your child s name great for unusual names but you can assign a photo icon and record his her name And for you teachers out there you get a full classroom set I m a music teacher so I don t need that feature for its intended purpose So I just take pictures of family members and let my son learn how to spell proper names WMN features the alphabet in sets of uppercase and lower case You can start at any point in the alphabet and use the forward or backward buttons Z will loop back to A The developers even added a nice touch upper and lower case use different sets of words This app also has a sight word section full of words 2 5 year olds in the United States really use not a bunch of British words like other apps I mean seriously who in the US says jam Ok now for the best part there are two settings for tracing The first is if your child gets the basic shape of the letter the app will display it perfectly The second setting will display their exact movement If your child is a perfectionist as is mine then they may get frustrated with this setting But it is good for assessing their progress There are also all kinds of little gems in this app from beautiful yet functional design to the snapshot feature and more At this point I sound like a fake review but I promise I m a real customer as i stated before I am a music teacher so I had some basic early childhood development classes in undergrad This app is THE most worthwhile educational app I have ever bought Just buy it PS To the developers you HAVE to make a comparable app for numbers and counting I m begging you Everything else out there is junk                     Best spelling app I have found Deeyo12

I would have to say so far this is the best writing tracing app I have found I have a son with special needs and writing is an area he needs quite a bit of work on I found that this app not only got his attention but kept it through the WHOLE alphabet Then onto writing his own FIRST and LAST name It is well worth the 4 A numbers one to match would be AWESOME Great app                     Great tracing app Lisa97424

Hi I bought your app write my name after reading tons of reviews your app is well design but I want to point out few things which I felt your app must add My son is learning to write words and when we worked on this app there was a struggle because many times my son wrote the wrong way and he wanted me to erase for him so he can get on to the next letter but I have to start over the whole word because there was no option for eraser if there is please let me know where is it Also there is another problem when he even wrote wrong it gave him star and good which is not very helpful in learning to write i have taken some pictures of the writing and want to send you so you can better understand what I mean by all this but i was unable to find contact link on your website which most of the developers have on their websites I wanted to mention one more thing in the option of writing name when we save the name and go into the option to write it it won t say the name until you finish writing but if there would an option to say out loud name every time when we touch the name which is showing on the upper area of the picture that would be so great because it will be great for the kids i couldn t find any contact info on your website where people can message you or can email you so i m writing this here in review area I hope you don t mind my honest opinion and help me out with these problems Thank you Ayesha             Can t find any contact info on your web site for email Hum ash

My 11 y o daughter who is autistic and delayed to approx 3 5 yrs would draw but not do letters I found this app has everything needed to keep her attention Nice sound simple animations for completing a letter and easy navigation between choices with the large tabs I only had to help her finger follow the stars once and she figured it out Fantastic idea of name tags with the ability to add pictures and recorded names She loves finding a picture of Daddy and Mommy and doesn t hesitate doing the letters to get an Daddy loves you when she s done She navigates through this app independently and keeps working at it I do have to say that I wouldn t have tried this app if I hadn t found it at the introductory price All special education apps are more expensive why I don t know so I tend to avoid them and only buy the cheaper ones that will teach the same skills We don t need to map their achievements and progress with the app it just needs to be like this A perfect app for a young child or a child with extra learning hurdles Great thinking and fantastic application Keep them coming Could this be updated so the name tag could have the voice recoding edited without redoing the tag Changing the voice reward occasionally could keep the things interesting                     SUPER APP FOR SPECIAL KIDS 2Specgirls

Just downloaded this app for my son and he loved recording his voice for the tags BUT the sound never played in this app Yes I made sure the sound was all the way up on the IPad and that the music was on within the app This app just didn t play the sound for anything except recording his voice I also wish there was a way to turn off the letter guides once the child has gotten good at the words so they can practice without the visual clue This app needs work still         Sound Mom White
