World University Rankings by Times Higher Education

This app has plenty of potential After all they have all of this wonderful data that they could let you slice and dice a thousand ways to find out just what you are looking for But they dont Instead you are able to Filter by 5 criteria Continent CountryRegion Cost of Living Tuition Cost Local and Tuition Cost International You cannot search for Best Science programs or Best Undergraduate programs or Best Colleges in the Northwestern US or even Best Colleges in California You cant even search for a specific college by name to find where it appeared on their list In theory you could use the Map function to narrow down a geographic location but it isnt very effective Points are stacked and you would have to go through a bunch of them to find what you want It appears I just wasted 5 Maybe they will update this to be useful at some point BTW I have version 102     Wheres the search

Good app but why cant we search the university rankings by subjects like architecture bussinessetc I payed 499 and i expected moore than this           Why cant we search by subject

just go to the web page and save your     Dont Buy It

Now it is 099 but it has a very easy name search Also if want to find for example the top school in terms of teaching create a custom ranking              Use the tools

Very limited functionality compared to website version Where for example is the Arts and Humanites ranking For people in these fields this subject area ranking is much more relevant than overall university rankings        No subject area rankings

This app has NO SEARCH FUNCTION so it you want to find a particular university among the hundreds you have to scan the list manually Also contrary to the advertising there is a VERY LIMITED FILTERING feature available it does not allow a user to filter by specific factors such as education research enrollment     cant search or filter
