The app is slow to respond and its dictionary is empty on the iPod Touch 5 I loved this app on my iPod Touch 4        Doesnt have any words

Im 32 and I used to be write and speak very well But with time and lots of informal communication like texting and email I find myself confusing words I once knew without a thought This app has great potential but it could use some harder words different levels and a comprehensive test for the words you have mastered I look forward to seeing future updates Great idea Oh and cariberry I dont agree that its not for those who are strong in English I believe the best thing about this app is that it makes me realize that I have weakness in words I think I know Its a great game and works the mind              Almost there Definitely worth buying for everyone

I love the app and it is good clean fun Many of the word pairs are indeed confusing and test your understanding The Master It questions are good to practice                 Great App Love it

I love love love this app Bugs from the new content update must have gotten fixed because I havent had any problems Its true that some words are very basic prob for ESL students but I found several words to be quite challenging gourmand abstruse etc I always appreciate a good learning app the descriptions are great                 Working great for me

This app works for someone who does no not want a sophisticated game As a game it is only fair but I am enjoying learning about commonly confused words There seem to be some bugs such as sentences in their definitions pages that get cut off when there is limited space I have an iPhone 5 and havent had any crashes such as other reviewers Bottom line I cant complain for a 1 game and I plan to purchase their other spin game of commonly confused phrases when I finish this game           Adequate not flashy

Glad this was only a couple of bucks If you have anything close to a decent vocabulary you will be totally bored with this game I will let my 9 year old granddaughter use it and if shes bored too then its an instant delete     wasted my money

Learn new word pairs or confirm what you already knowand have fun doing it Great tool to help speakers of other languages learn English They dont have to plough through pages of a dictionaryjust click on the icon at upper right corner of screen and choose word from alpha list Will use in my work as English tutor                 Very cool app

This app I use when Im not in school lol I love to learn new words and their evil counterparts I just hope to see more updates that will make this app ADDICTIVE              Very Fun

It is a great idea and I would use it as a quick reference tool The app opens fine and you can select and use it to look up one thing but try looking up a new word or do something else IT WONT because it is FROZEN and CRASHED Sure you can QUIT the app I dont mean close the window I mean QUIT which is a hassle and reopen it and do one more thing before it crashes again and again an again and so on Let me know when you have it fixed     iPad Air CRASH I want my money back

I like it however I cannot seem to get words after spinning the wheel Both wifi and 3G It works and doesnt work Would love to use this with my students Please fix or tell me what Im doing wrong so I can use it and recommend it for others           Spins no words

This game needs some simple additions 1 Why cant I listen to music while I play Or at least mute those super annoying sound effects 2 When Im in play mode it should let me see the definition of the word Im trying to master 3 When i look up the word since I cant see the definitions in play mode I should be able to look up either word in the list Both words should be in the list With these simple enhancements this game would only be a slight dissapointment but as is its not worth a free download     Not worth a free download

This app is in a class by itself Very beautiful and worthwhile I think it has the potential to be a fantastic learning tool for students of all ages The list is quite basic but there were still many words Ive always been unclear about and the explanations are very clear I love the quotes And the questions I skip around and do Master It for words I need the most help with I look forward to updates with harder words and agree with some of the recommendations in the other reviews would like to see levels of play for example Still no reason not to buy it and enjoy It really is a fantastic app                 I want more Very promising

This is a clever app and its helping me finally nail the difference between affect and effect among other word pairs that I was never 100 sure of Worth downloading                 surprisingly challenging

It is 1year that I have purchased it but I couldnt use it it doesnt work when I spin it no word comes up     it doesnt work

For the price 199 at this posting the app needs additional features First it plays a sound whenever one enters the quiz mode called master it and there is no way to disable sound even when the devices sound is set to mute Not what Im looking for when traveling or sitting in public My second complaint is there is no option to mark a word set as a favorite for further review once in quiz mode Many other options remain but favorite is gone Should a user decide heshe needs to spend additional time practicing a word set several cumbersome steps are required A third enormouslyhelpful feature would be a checklist selection tool so that users could add troublesome words to a multiword quiz I would enable this in both favorite and general list modes which would enhance the app tremendously by allowing users to create their own quizzes to practice and hone their skills Finally the app should have an option that enables users to return to the definition page during or after a quiz I found myself in need of further clarification numerous times only to be frustrated by the lack of access to the definition screen which required numerous cumbersome steps to find once again        Good concept but needs work

As a career scientist my technical vocabulary has expanded greatly over the past several years but this apparently came at the cost of my general vocabulary This app has been a fun and helpful way to remind myself of proper usage and spelling of words The huge flaw with this app is that words you have already master come up more often than not in the play mode and the wordspin mode Its a bit frustrating Additionally spins wont always bring up new word pairs making this feature seem a wee bit buggy              Nice start some problems

After seeing this app on the rewind list I decided to give it a shot As someone who has completed graduate school I thought that it would be a fun app to pass the time with I had NO idea that I would learn so much Embarrassingly enough I work in higher education and I forgot that some of these words even existed The question component is funny and immensely helpful Five stars                 Get It You Wont Regret It

It doesnt take long to start to see how many words youve been misusing for years Its really easy to use and Ive found its improved my vocabulary and writingagain sort of accidentally I think for my wife who grew up speaking Mandarin at home and knows English just fine shed really get a lot out of it as English is chock full of strange word usage and rules A slick easy way to improve your grasp on English while having fun                 Accidentally had fun learning
