Wonder Writer

For the past 9 months Ive been writing short stories and fan fiction using this app Its very user friendly and easy to send my writings to my friends The only thing I wish it had was the ability to underline bold or italicize text without changing the entire font of the story                 Love it

But isnt after update Nothing works Slim     Could be very nice

Please add a sync feature so the writings can be synced and available across devices              Please add sync documents

I love this app and I have just successfully written 3 novels on it Its really good for text Highly recommended                 Highly recommended

This is a great app for taking notes and composing text on small screens like the ipod touch or ipadand there are no ads You can format the text and background to make it easy to read With a bluetooth keyboard you get all the Mac keystroke options for navigating and selecting text as well as cut and paste This inst a word processor only the text itself is saved The point is to easily read as you type Try large blue text on light green if you like In a very bright setting white on black works great Edit functions are great especially with a keyboard You navigate and select using command option and arrow keys Cut and paste with command X and V For command use the flag key on Microsoft keyboard Tap a misspelled word and replacements are offered above it Tap your choice You cannot search for text Past documents can be sorted by name or date or searched by name There are no folders Remember that color and size are only for display When you copy or email only the text is transmitted That said this is a great app for typing If you compose on your iOS device to transfer to a word processor or just to take notes this is a very adaptable notepad                 great for small screen typing

I loved this app before the most recent update It used to be able to count the words chars etc but now it doesnt I personally really liked that feature and I miss it Also there is a calendar but you cant even mark events on it You just store different writings under the dates It should be made so that it marks of dates or could write stories under that date Personally I dont see the point in storing a specific writing under a specific date I liked the way the old version was Although I do like that it can have a password           Not that great

I like it the way it is No cloud sync The App Store is replete with Cloud sync text editors                 Im Satisfied

I looked at this app and since my goal is to be an author I wanted to be able to tell a story and it would automatically write on the note It doesnt even work And the reason I gave one star was because I couldnt give zero     Horrible

Your app is good but I would like to create a note with different fonts in it Actually is not possible Expecting for an actualization Thanks        Amazing but

The best text app in my iphone great user interface I like the way to set my text font colorbackground Much beter than IA Writer                 Great app

I am using Wonder Writer on a iPad while recovering from a hand injury that has made most writer apps with plenty of keyboard switches painful The extra keys with the often used characters is wonderful                 Love the extra buttons

Bottom Line Good Writer has many good features Cloud sync is great Its simple with a nice clean simple UI That being said there are other IMHO apps that are even better if you also use a computer Long winded version Im a writer Apps that sync with my MacBook iPad and iPhone are important enough to me that Ill pay if I have to Ideas dont adhere to a schedule so I need iPhone notes at 4AM to be on my iPad while Im waiting somewhere and also on my Mac when Im able to sit down to my Mac I also want apps that are simple clean and easy I find it overwhelming to wade through apps and features I hate to admit how much Ive spent wasted because I couldnt find more opinions from real people Therefore out of the many Ive tried heres my 2 cents on the solutions Ive found FREE obviously these are only the ones Ive found Apples Notes now that it syncs with all devices and allows categories its worth rethinking for short notes SimpleNote same thing but syncing with Mac requires one of several free 3rd party pieces of software Check simple notecom for the links Like Apple Notes you can also access your notes from the web should God forbid you lose all your own devices Celtx script and book writing software Im amazed this is free its so good There is a paid option but it isnt much compared to the cost of other writing software I bought Final Draft but use Celtx instead No learning curve and it exports to FD anyway Evernote Weve all got Evernote I even pay for Premium for the extra filing features Although Evernote does take notes syncs everywhere I find the mobile version too slow and cumbersome to use for fast notes New apps appear daily that sync with Evernote so I hope someone else will review the best of those Im weary of it Dropbox Weve all got Dropbox and we can easily get to notes from any app that syncs with it For me the problem there is that unlike apps with a native OSX version I have to navigate through my Dropbox Desktop folder find the document and open or import it to a text editor PAID IA Writer simple bug free and easy to use For me the price is worth the improvement to the quality of my life Scrivener Same as above but has templates and more for writers so it has more features Scrivener isnt cheap but I cant remember ever reading a bad review by people who know a lot more than me so I finally tried and bought it It seems to be considered the best of the best If it can be your all in one solution it might pay for itself           Good free app but if youre a writer

So I wrote a couple paragraphs and I leave I come back in a couple days and POOF Its all gone     Automatic Data Deletion

I used this app it was working well but second day what I typed vanishedonly what I typed first only available fix this problem        Lost text

I do wish that I would be able to italics my words And the password thing is the BEST                 LOVE THIS APP

I love it but we should be able to delete a page in the history I love the new passcode I hate it when people go through my stuff Its like looking into my thoughts and feelings Also this app would be the best app for me if there was bolding and italicizing Those are two key elements in writing At least for me it is I dont really see the significance with the calendar It doesnt appeal to me much because Im writing a story Not in a diary Why cant we name our files Now Im soo confused on which file is what Please add I dont usually rate and review but I just had to I love it soo much                 Love this app and new update

I paid for my app but it stopped working I also tried to reload and turned ipad off and on again but to no avail It wont let me put in passcode at all I might have no choice but to take a loss and delete this app        Stopped working

I have been using this wonderful ap to compose organize and over all bring to life my latest thriller novel I am writing I would recommend this Wonder Writer to writers creators and dreamers all across the globe                 The best in writing tools

I had 2 files I was writing today within the 2nd file closed my iPad and when I came back to it tonight the file I was working on was replaced by my 1st file Im guessing there is no way to recover the 2nd file Im not too terribly interested in an unreliable app no recommending only saving what I have deleting AANNDD the search is back on for another writing app As we all know the 1 star is compulsory     What happened

This app is essential for one reason the keyboard Having quick access to those four punctuation keys along with the two navigation keys makes all the difference between frustration and ease Especially if you write dialogue You dont need the apostrophe as one of the quick punctuation keys just write the contraction without an apostrophe and let iOS autocorrect it Its quicker Likewise with the period just double space at the end of sentences Someone thought it out well I do my writing in Wonder Writer then transfer it to Awesome Note where I can add tags and organize finished work and drafts properly Use the Copy Text button from the menu on the bottom left The reason why people are finding their work disappearing is because Wonder Writer only permanently saves the document when you press done If you write and then close the app using the home button your writing will be there only as long as the app stays active in the background You really need get used to using the done button when closing the app You wont lose anything                 Worth it for writers

I dont usually write reviews but this app wont let me use it at all If you forget your passcode as I did you are PERMANENTLY locked out of the app I deleted and reloaded it hoping to start over and it still wouldnt let me in without the passcode Sorry I forgot it and now I am forbidden to use my app Cmon at least there ought to be a way to reset the passcodethis is ridiculous     VERY UNFRIENDLY
