This used to be the only news app I would use Now it is awful You cant navigate and its so complicated to use I will be deleting it and using other news apps Terrible News
The update is a huge change it only allows you to view vertically you cant rotate your device Dont care for the new format A big change
This news app was my favorite and very useful to stay up to date It usually gave accurate breaking news up to 20 minutes prior to the other news apps Now with the format change ads inserted into articles and stories strung together in no coherent manner this app is just not worth it WLWT was my primary source for local news but no more Very disappointing Very disappointed
I dont like the repetition of stories I also wish it was updated more frequently For N KY the same story was on there for two weeks I also miss being able to post or read comments Can we bring back the OLD websiteapp Not Good
I love WLWT but I have to be honest I cant stand the new app It is hard to find what I want and all the links seem to take me to videos If all I want to know is if it is going to rain to day I have to go to the menu select weather and then scroll down to a bunch of graphics that are poorly designed the hour by hour layout makes no sense No user friendly at all

If you dont have to updateDONT Very hard to find what you are looking for The stories keep repeating and are never updated I made the mistake of updating on my phone but thank goodness I didnt on my iPod I can still use the old app that EVERYONE liked instead of the new one that is a total mess Plus the new app does not allow viewers comments like the old one did Please channel 5 pay attention to your viewers and go back to the old app unless you want to lose us to other channels Hate The New App
This app is difficult to navigate And why do you make me watch video Why cant I just read a story This app needs a do over Poorly done
I share the same opinions as everyone above On the iPad it does not allow you to tilt to landscapeonly upright I wouldnt pay the dude who built thislooks like he used the source code from one of your early beta versions Listen to the people and ditch this version and move forward with better innovations and ease of use Ill rely on other local news sources until then Terrible

I really do not like the new version of WLWT app The old version was much better It is not user friendly and it just has to much bells and whistles The simpler the better In KY
poor same stories in each of several categories seems like same 57 stories repeated old 5 mixed with CNN mixed with A Ive gotten used to checking once r twice a week instead of per day the site is just plain awful Surprised They Even Released This Version

Thats what this updated app deserves I used to enjoy going to WLWT for weather particularly Im often bumped out of the app when I pull up the radar which is very annoying I absolutely dont use this app like I did before please change it back NO STARS
Out of all the other local Cincinnati news apps WLWT is by far the best Easy to read stories and notifications when a major news event is taking place I especially like the traffic and weather alerts News when you need it and sometimes when you dont
I used to read ch9 until they started charging to read articles then moved to ch 5 Unfortunately I find the format confusing cluttered and running duplicates of stories that waste my time I now depend mostly on ch 12 online for my local and national news New format

I have been using WLWT app for many years daily It was my favorite news source This new upgraded app is just plain terrible I gave it a couple weeks thinking that I may get used to it That that hasnt happened I will be trying out other local news apps and switching I thought it was just me but by looking at all reviews it appears this is the overall consensus Terrible in comparison

I kept hoping Id get used to it but I really really really miss the old app I loved getting the news headlines and the weather I cant tell anything from these weather icons And the same stories over and over plus way old news because in some counties not much happens Please bring back the old app Im a WLWT fan through and through but recent changes like this and pulling Todd from am news really makes me question the leadership at the station Not good guys

Leave some things as just simple The competition out doing each other is silly Create something and let it be with some tweaks The interface is bad You cant tell the difference between real news and all the silly ads and goofy links Sad Oh and honestly if the team wasnt so zealous it would be a fine app Enough with all the notifications I dont care about a missing dog or someone that got shot Nor do I want to have a live chat with Zarnitz re weather or Vogel over a recent Reds trade Traffic Sure Major storm Sure The end of a sporting events final score as soon literallyas the last decibel of the buzzerwhistle etc is heard as the game ends No This ruins a lot of DVRed games Relax a bit Over zealous news reporting Stop it please Enough and terrible new app
