I appreciate this app I got it for emergency local notifications Unfortunately in Mississippi college football updates are considered emergencies Also if you click on a notification you are taken no where near the news article Emergency Football Thetalltiff
The app works fine The notifications are always negative Never any good news when I see a pop up notification Someone was killed got robbed took advantage of people did something bad to or with kids etc I don t even read the notifications anymore It will make you depressed What do you expect Airbournereaper
My only complaint is the breaking news not being there when I get a notification It takes a while or when an updated alert links to the older version of the story However this station usually gets news first so that s a plus Alerts not ready Blkbttrfly79
Once you receive the Breaking News alerts notifications and click into it their is no story Stop sending the alerts if the story isn t published Once the story is ready for public view send the alerts Thanks Poor Alerts HighlyUpset
The app has become ad driven just like the commercial tv station The news is slow to post if it even makes it to the list Major national news isnt listed on top stories as it should be Besides the full screen splash ad on initial loading Ive even had ads take full screen when I want to load an article Not what I care to see when I want to read the news that is posted Then to top it off this last update brought ads into the middle of the articles Should be renamed MSAdsNow Was once a good app
I want the old app back No entertainment news Few national headlines Rarely loads right New app is horrible Not worth it
I do not like the new app The old one was easier to use and had much more I cant find a link to the movies where dis the local movie link go Do not like the new app
Reminds me of their morning show way too many ads and not very informative The old app was better Bad

WLBT is my favorite station On my new iPhone 5 this app is inconsistent over WiFi Do I have to use my ATT data plan minutes for this app to work properly Sorry but No thank you Intermittent Over WiFi
What happened This app used to be good Now pics dont load and text takes a while or doesnt lied completely Ill look elsewhere for local news until an update fixes this Overstuffed

The display is way too busy and crowded Banner ads and links to other stories are distracting Why have to scroll across for some items and down for others on the same page Too crowded
But it no longer is easy to navigate Will find oth app with diff station instead Used to keep up with MS news
I would give this app 1 star because of the constant advertisements but it does work well once the ads are gone so 2 stars is fair Ads
The app continuously crashes I can only read one news story at most before it shuts down The old app works so much better It looks nice and its easy to use which is why I rated it two stars But being easy to use doesnt matter if you cant use it at all The new version is the same Im a huge fan of WLBT and the weather app is first rate but Im going to have to delete this app and go with WAPT for news Could be a good app but
Since the update it doesnt give current news articles Currently the top story is from July 14 The stories below arent in chronological order just a jumbled mess of old stories w a few new ones thrown in randomly Fix this please Used to be great
Layout was great making stories easy to find but the scroll stops before reaching the end of the story so you have to hold it to read the end Should evolve into a great app though Good job WLBT Great layout but a little buggy
This app used to be good Now its not updated frequently enough Ive received three alerts since yesterday afternoon but when I go to the app to read the stories theyre not there even though it says its up to date In fact there are no current todays stories Please fix it Not UptoDate News
This app crash after each story I never had any trouble out of wlbt to go I do wish they would add entertainment to the new app But mostly just fix the crashing issue Crashes

Push alert notifications dont work on ios8 and theres too but national news Why do Jackson residents care about the news in Boston or any other city outside of Mississippi Bad

This app is named MS Local News but contains a lot of news from other states I want just the local news Nationwide news is available many other places Why is it Called Local News
This is the best app for local Jackson news hands down but there is something wrong with it that drives me nuts For whatever reason an error message pops up the says update error couldnt retrieve from the network This happens whether Im on wifi or the network and it pops up every 20 seconds Really annoying Error messages like crazy
