What the...

So you download, create a character, and that`s it.. without buying into the game? Why? What`s the point here really? I mean why not have a short demo or just flat out buy it then?? Makes no sense.

I deleted it. I mean I grew up in the late 80`s-early 90`s playing the Wizardry games. Loved em. This just seems like a bad cash in. "Seems" as really I don`t know. Not gonna spend $10 to see if I like it. And judging by the anime graphics on the character screen... Uh, Wizardry series never had anime graphics. So all I can see at this point is that this is a bad cash in. I`d stay away until they show us what it`s all about, at least a taste.
Good idea, extremely poor play!

From the start of character creation to the game play and interface the game is horrible. Takes forever to navigate menus, the tutorial is about useless and teaches nothing, the dungeon navigation is buggy at best. No input on how to even create all classes other than by trial and error. The random stat generator is too random and not even in line with the class you desire to make. Even at free to try, it`s not worth it. And for $10 for game, waste of money.
Wizardry

I am a huge fan of the wizardry series. I seen this in the app store and jumped on it. I want new games, more games and I want the series to go on for a long time.

Having said that, this version falls short of the perfection that is wizardry RPG. The controls are clumsy. Often the screen doesn`t recognize that you have pushed a command, therefore you find yourself pushing it multiple times to get it to do the action even once which is very frustrating while trying to navigate your way thru the maze. The maze screen is small as it is yet they have put photos of your characters lining each side to make it even that much smaller, not keeping with the traditional bottom of the screen `name only` character placement of previous wizardry games.

I will pay the $9.99 for the full version, and if you`d smooth out the bumps in the game I`d pay $20.00 to play one more game in the series of the ultimate of RPGs.

I remember mapping out these games back in the day with graph paper. "Take a step, draw a box. Take another step, oops there`s a wall...or a pit."

Anyway back on topic, please fix the controls. Also, it really isn`t necessary to have the character photos on the map navigation screen, they`re just in the way.

Update:
I won`t buy until it`s fixed. Playing further, the navigation controls in the maze are completely frustrating.
