As a long time fan of wing chun long before Ip Man came out the movie and now this app solidfiy it for me wing chun is my style and if you like and even thinkiing about taking buy this app the grandmaster is personally involed so its not a bunch bull                 must have

This app is very well done I mean it is excellent However it is sad to see how bad wing chun has become as a self defense system or should I say how bad these jokers are Total garbage demonstrated in this app        Sad To See

Im in my first month of learning Wing Chun and this app is a great help for checking my form when practicing at home Brilliant app and I cant wait for more                 Fantastic practice aid

Its good for the curious considering wing chun has different lineages ergo different ways of doing things Still some of what is portrayed does not work a double gan sau cant handle a full force roundhouse for example It did help however for me to memorize the sequence for the wooden dummy           Generally basic

This has all the basics available in the palm of your hand Once you have downloaded it you can refer to it anytime even without wifi Very well done not buggy and does not lag                 Great app

anaheimshaolin Do you really have such low self esteem to the point where you feel the need to take a shot at someone elses martial art A style is only as good as the person practicing it Obvoiusly wherever YOU are learning if anywhere has failed to train you in the importance of respecting others and their styles A martial artist who can give no respect is an improper student and does not deserve to learn the arts If you go trying to push other people around what you do ceases to be a martial art which core definition is Self Defence You then become what is known commonly as a bully or more accurately a Douchbag and then it is you who self defence is needed against                 Nice app

The videos do an awesome job of showing the techniques both with live and 3D animated figures And the history and interviews with the masters are a plus But my favorite feature is the 3D wooden dummy demo Making the wooden dummy transparent allows you to see the striking techniques clearly from a vantage point not possible anywhere else Very creative Definitely a must have                 This App rocks

For a fan of martial apps this app is a must have I love the interviews with the Wing Chun masters This is a brilliant app Very highly recommended This can be used for physical fitness self training as well as self defense training The animations are excellent Probably best martial arts app on the AppStore                 Outstanding Work

Update this app I have always enjoyed showing people the techniques and interviews but after the last iPhone update the videos wont play                 good

The demonstrations are terrible They have to do more research next time None of the techniques are realistic and show the true face of Wing Chun     Terrible waste of money

This app has good basic information but is clearly aimed at the beginner I wish it were more interactive for instance allowing the user to slow or stop the action midstream or even rotate the view such as in the wooden dummy form In particular I wish the Chi Sau section had given more basic instruction in the fundamental drill Instead it looks more like freeform Wing Chun sparring Unfortunately in the examples shown the larger person consistently beats the smaller person just as might be expected from untrained fighters on the street I would have much preferred seeing how the smaller fighter could use superior technique to overcome the advantages of size and strength Also because the Chi Sau is live some of the action takes place with the participants backs to the camera While an experienced martial artist can interpret what is happening from the results this isnt a helpful way for a beginner to figure out how the technique is applied Perhaps my favorite part is the Sil Lum Tao form which would be good to practice alongside in real time All in all Id say this is a moderately interesting application and certainly a reasonable price but it leaves me wishing for more           Wing Chun Masters

Some of the movements arent exactly precise However its good for enrichment in training Not so good due to the limitation of one lineage              Good app if youre under a Sifu

I have been studying WC for years I bought this app expecting a finished project its ok but far from completion they only have one form documented and broken down I really wanna see more especially the 2nd and 3rd forms However its a good tool for teaching novices to show them some of the names of the movements If this is completed it will be a five star product but as is not worth it        Too basic far from completion

If this is the best Martial Arts App out there well I guess To be sure wont be interested in any others This one is a nice introduction to Wing Chun not to much to get excited about if you have some training but the videos and 3D aspect are nice touches           Hoo Hum

Dont buy this app If you have ever studied Wing Chun you will be shocked how bad it is Just Ip Mans poorly trained kids trying to profit off of their Fathers legacy The techniques are poorly executed and many incorrect     Waste of money

Have been playing with this app all weekend and it really is cool Although new to Wing Chun I know a bit about the history so the App featuring presence of Grand Master Ip Chun son of the Grand Master Ip Man of the movie fame makes me think this is one app you want if youre looking for the real deal App works as promised great no nonsense narration simple and clear video and 3D animations take you through all the forms My favorite is fighting the robot not just cool eye candy but useful in studying the forms I find it excellent for studying on the go as I have whipped it out more than once to play with it at a boring social function haha On the whole a great app that does what it says how nice and delivers on its promise Looking fwd to seeing what else these developers have up their sleeve                 The Real Deal

None of the videos work at all I only hear audio Man these guys are masters at taking my money and thats about it Why doesnt Apple ever test these products before they are allowed to put them on here     Animation What animation

As a beginning student at Wing Chun this is a good supplement to review some of the basics particularly the first form and learning terminology along with the movements Im being introduced to in class I like having bits of advice from various masters about how to proceed by learning correctly so as not to have to go back to correct bad habits My only wish is that I could slow down certain movements in videos to very clearly see what is happening I was bummed to see that this app was only for purchase on the iPhone and the iPad app is a separate purchase Nonetheless I am going to use this app frequently to study and refresh Wing Chun concepts and movements out of class This otherwise seems a great supplement to the classes that Im taking I hope that the creators will continue to update it to increase its value for more learning              Good stuff

The app is great well instructed but instructing very horrible techniques First of all I keep hearing blocks mentioned when wing chun technically has no blocks The applications are used out of the form in the wrong manner     Great App

WOW This app has a lot of information I was surprised at how detailed the information was and how excellent the videos are The demonstrations of the forms are really well done as are the application videos These martial artists have a lot of quality training Check out the video on elbow strikes the speed is really impressive The Chi Sau combinations are also excellent You just cant teach those via a book I also like the 3D transparent Wooden Dummy video Such a great idea For anyone interested in learning Wing Chun this application is a great way to find out more and is much better than buying a book For current students you will totally find new information and great examples that will help you perfect your skills                 Excellent Reference Guide

If only yip man had taught what he actually knew to his students and sons your app and martial art would flow and be smooth Unfortunately he only taught one other person My brother then taught me from the age of 2 If only Bruce lee would have been taught the advanced form The first three forms give clues to the movements and technique that obviously seems to be lost Good app though                 The other forms would be nice
