I was on top of Chiang Mai national park mountain The real temp was about 15c but the app is showing 32c Cant trust the rest info given by the app Need to be fixed Not true info
Seems to show the wind speed in any point which is exactly what I was looking for However having just a satellite view is not enough it is very hard to figure out where you are when you scroll and dont see labels Author please add the ability to switch between map and satellite the way standard google map does Another improvement could be showing the grid of wind speeds and directions overlaid on the map instead of having to center and click the get wind button There is an accepted standard of displaying wind using wind arrows Needs map mode with labels
I fly RC airplanes and quad copters and I want to know what the wind is at the site Im going to Ive taken a handheld wind meter with me and double checked the wind speed and they matched Great little app
Great app Simple to use however I would like to see conditions at various altitudes in a future update Important for flying my balloon Needs altitude conditions
Im sure it has a lot to do with not understanding what to do but the usability is not very friendly I am watching my radar which is indicating 4050 mph winds and this thing is clocking 27 mph at the most Something is wrong with one of them I dont care for it
This app is not really that bad It is simple you open the app it tells you what the winds are doing no matter which direction you are facing I have to say that the information you are reading does not take into consideration that turbulence from trees and buildings may give you a different opinion vs what the app says Over all I like it It would be nice to have a map and a terrain layer as well I use it to check winds for different places I might be flying into so to speak Pretty cool
If you could add an address search feature and the ability to save locations in a Favorites setting this would be an excellent app Please add in future update Needs a little work
Ok i keep finding reasons to use this It is simply AWESOME As a professional pilot I can very quickly get the winds at the airport As someone who loves to sail I click on my local lake and get the winds and temp As someone who loves golf I check the winds at the course Seriously this app is so cool Awesome Wind Geo

Congrats to the developers Finally an app that does not tell the wind speed by using the cellphone mic absurd Like the way its designed and that it tells you the wind direction relative to tour direction Very easy to use great for sailing
Not what u expected
I bought this app assuming that it would allow the user to enter an address anywhere in the world and the software would take you there and give wind info I fly model aircraft so winds at the field 25 miles away are important No You need to find the remote site you want by hand following roads dont make any wrong turns until you find the location you want Unless youre a pilot familiar with tracking ground features from the air this can be very difficult Add an address search and well see if this app is worth it Right now as is I wasted a dollar Search means hunt from the air

This app delivers exactly what it promises I can navigate through the app without moving my phone It is nice to see the temperature along with wind factor The lat lon information is cool Waiting for the author to add additional features in the next version Nice little app
Easy to use and fun to get the temperature and wind speed in other locations Especially cool when a weather event is occuring like a hurricaine or blizzard I can check to see if there is enough wind to fly a kite at the park or too much wind at the beach to keep the sand out of my eyes before I make the trip Awesome app for the price
