Wildcard - Browse a Better Mobile Web

Great way to browse the news and other content its a rich but simple user experience                 Im a fan

Ive been out of the loop on news for the past couple years and I hated that Ive been looking for a place to go where I could get news in easily consumable pieces and be able to see the days news overview at a glance Wildcard is that place You can pick from different sources to read an article on the same topic and the app design and functionality is absolutely beautiful clean and intentional News is first shown to me in a summary view love with a descriptionshort paragraph to intro the article and I can decide whether Im interested in reading more from there Wildcard gets it right where other news mobile sites get the Read Morelimited article view on mobile thing wrong Theres only one thing Ive noticed that is lessthandesirable the featured stories on the home screen of the app dont always change daily one or two of them might be changed but the rest are the same This is a brand new app though so Im sure the content will get even fresher over time And my last notea feature request in case any Wildcard app devs are reading this it would be lovely someday to be able to have filtered views of the home screen latest news by genre eg Technology Entertainment etc andor customize the articles shown on the home screen based on userset preferences                 What Ive Been Looking For

The only pop up notification I got from this app was about Planned Parenthood and how the horrendous videos that are out recently were faked I dont need to see your biased opinions coming up on my phone Easy decision to delete     Biased

Exiting an article causes a few needless animations that just make things feel sluggish wasting my time in quickly reading a lot of stuff Scrolling the list view theres a bounciness in each tile that is annoying Remove needless animations and it would be a great app They just add too much annoying to be a seamless interaction           Animations make UI sluggish

Its awesome to see regular updates from developers like Wildcard that improve the experience                 Really well done great updates

What an incredible app I dont even know what makes it so much better than other apps but it is Its the first news app I use consistently and not just for the first few days after downloading                 Awesome

Sorry but I dont need my news fed to me through someone elses eyes There is no way to select what feeds are on this I sent two emails to the devs about this I was asked to be patient Well its been a few months and Im still wading through stuff I dont want Deleting due to complete disregard of what the customer wants     No choice of feeds

Im more than a little addicted to reading news on my phone Every day I browse the nytimes WSJ a few local newspapers and then an assortment of more specific interest sites Wildcard brings all of that together in one place as well as giving me a new way to browse all the coverage on the web about particular stories I find Im reading more and from more sources than I was before as well as discovering stories I didnt even know about Plus the app just feels and looks slick                 New way to browse news

Simplifies digesting the content into aesthetically pleasing card format One of the cool things about this app is the View as a Card which when selected present a clutterfree and almostadfree format for reading This option also loads the content faster The other cool feature or lack of it that i appreciate is not removing the old cards when new cards are being pushed So far I have been able to find my unread older cards Please retain this feature Lastly I like the ability to save the cards to read them later although you cannot tag or categorize them It would add more value if I can tag or group them into custom categories like in pocket Another suggestion that I thing would be useful is to have a visual distinguisher like greying out for cards that are read So far it has been a great app to digest news without being overloaded Kudos to the team for a well designed app                 Well designed App Cards are the future

I love the simple interface I hate when news apps try to be all fancy and complicated My only complaint is that this app does not post stories very often but that may actually be a good thing On a slow news day they dont post irrelevant filler articles so I guess thats good And for the most part they seem pretty inbiased Download this app its worth a try Update the app now has new stories more often Thanks for listening                 Pretty nice

ABOUT TIME a news app thats simple fast speed beautiful design easy to use                

Needs more content from a wider variety of sources Agree that content is very underwhelming I downloaded this as a replacement for Zite after the whole Flipboard merge But unfortunately not a great alternative Some sources require a subscriptionsignin on the original site to view the story and I see that as a major problem More news and less editorial and personal essays would improve the experience        Underwhelming

Been looking for a good news app I usually stick to certain ones like huffpost but I like how this shows multiple sources and articles for s specific story I just think there needs to be ways to separate stories Politics entertainment etc as of now it kinda just populates stories that I guess are trending which isnt bad but would be nice to have more options              Good so far

This app makes reading the news enjoyable Nice smooth design Quality sources and articles Theres no sign up or account creation needed Just dive right in My only suggestion is that the Top Stories should be refreshed more often I think they should all be replaced about every 24 hours                 Nice experience

Finally found a good news app to replace Circa and I finally found it                 Been looking for a good news app

Im really not sure about version two I mean its great at what it does which is curated news But I loved circa which did the exact same thing and went out of business Why copy a failed business so closely              Great but dont forget the past

The offline feature in saved cards is a nice touch                 Great app

Pretty much the perfect news app for short attention span morons like me Its a great way to quickly sift through all the news topics you missed while you were slaving away at your day gig                 Great Morning Catchup

I love the interface on this app its intuitive and fun to navigate It has a great mix of breaking news and more indepth think pieces And it allows me to have a broader media consumption Instead of checking one sources website for all my news I can scroll through multiple takes on the same story Great app                 Great mix of articles

I was a bit skeptical that a news app could provide a new interface that would surpass the plethora of existing big budget apps I was pleasantly surprised by this one Great content and a truly refreshing delivery system                 Truly different

Firstly great app Nice interactions subtle detailing highly usable Just a few more details I feel could be improved 1 needs setting to always default to card view 2 articles seem to take ages to load especially as progress bar nears completion 3 related stories to article being read seem quite UNrelated Looking forward to seeing this app develop              Small details

Alright to look but weak content with no ability to customize user interests whatsoever Not even in the same league with Zite and some of the others More significant though are all the obviously fake reviews NOT EVEN REMOTELY CREDIBLE     Looks nice but underwhelming content

This app is not great not good and not ok it stinks All of these 5 star reviews are just silly They come off like this app is a direct line to God himself Im not sure if that is paid for or they have a large friend base that spread the word but the reviews are silly how positive they are I think I saw one of the five star review that said the app cured their cancer Ignore the 5 star reviews They are fake     Weird 5 star reviews They are fake

The app is displayed beautifully on my phone and maintains an organized outlook It makes keeping up with news and top stories easy I love that Im able to set a notification for when there are major developments in articles Ive read they keep me updated I no longer update myself on stories Ive read It is simply fantastic                 Love it

Love the news coverage provided but would appreciate if the Twitter shared links could be turned off I follow a lot of people on Twitter and linked Twitter and now 90 percent of my wildcard feed is what these people have shared                 Good app

This app is by far and away the best news app on the market Essentially it is one app that scours the Internet to bring the most relevant articlesvideostweets to you in a very clear concise and easy to navigate format Ive already enjoyed using it while waiting in line to get coffee but as well on my hour long commute to work If you currently use other news apps to stay up to date then this is a must have that will make all of your other apps obsolete                 Best news app Beautiful detailed and extremely user friendly

I actually thought this was another one of Googles apps Its a cool neo interactive way to get your current events              I like it

I used to have a whole bunch of news apps that I rarely used Now I have one that I legitimately look forward to opening For quick reads for deep dives for all those inbetween moments I think theres a great mix of topics to choose from and I really like how some of the more popular topics are covered from multiple news outletsmedia properties Great UX and great design Also as a bonus the related cards are actually related to the source card not some bologna clickbait Well done Wildcard Im in                 Insert Superlative Here

I do like the news items Wildcard puts up but the app is glitchy Sometimes it wont open or load sometimes it kicks me off Today the card button was missing from two articles Three stars until all this is fixed           Glitchy
