Might as well close the app and stick your head outside to see what is going on with the weather If you are not using wifi or 3G service this app will NEVER load Everyday this week when I got up I checked the temp with this app Every time I had to close the app and reopen it It had a failure to connect error message I have wifi and pick up great 4G signal at the house Explain that Forget using it unless your on wifi or 3G service
Deleted after 2 minutes you cant read any of the information because the background is too busy see third picture I then remembered why I stopped watching channel 19 to begin with they have all those terribly distracting tv monitors hanging in the background Back to the waff app I go Awful

Too inconsistent For example at 525am the app says its 31 degrees the hour by hour says 25 degrees at 6am and WHNT is currently reporting 29 degrees 4BMWs

I have used this app for about 9 months When it works it works great WHEN it works They have made several changes mostly the removal of tabs that they knew were either seasonal road closures andor difficult to keep updated automatically My biggest gripe is that it is slow to update and constantly hangs sometimes for days Yes days The WEATHER CHANNEL app is much more reliable but doesnt offer detailed local information like the WHNT app does when it works Of course if it doesnt update it doesnt make any difference does it Update 2152011 A new version was installed a few days ago and it seems to have corrected several problems that I reported earlier For one I havent experienced any hangs This is quite an improvement If I continue to have success with this app I may give it another star Good job WHNT you listened to the gripescomments Unreliable
Great app with lots of good content but it needs AirPlay with Apple TV functionality and Chromecast support No AirPlay Chromecast support

Overall the app gives decent weather information Its about as good as most of the other weather apps out there The only problem that I have is with the map If I ever get it to load WiFi or 3G it takes an unusually long time to do so However most of the time the map will not load at all Fix the map issue and Ill start using the app more Good weather infobad map
