If youre trying to identify the font on the packaging for Hiroshima Mon Amour then please look further Like look real past this app cuz it dont work     Doesnt work

Very cool concept and a good start I hope theyll update it with improvements such as ability to rotate image either before or after cropping currently an image with wrong rotation fails completely ability to memorize all identifications so they can be accessed in the future emailing the result is cool but shouldnt be the only option           Good effort

Hard to say how well it actually IDs fonts because it crashes repeatedly during the character identification section every time Retaking the photo and restarting the app dont help     Cant tell how well it works because it crashes every time

Several tries and it thought my block letter I was a train or a English taxicab     Comical yes

I was pretty angry that the app had bad reviews after using it myself This app is very useful and has so many possibilities of use whether you just want to know the font or want to use it in a book of your own Five stars for sure                 Definitely Worth It

Im so angry Every time I try to do a font it says error message and closes out Every time I really was depending on this for something but it really let me down     Nooooope

I wrote a bad review because the suggestions it gave me were laughable But it was because my photo was naturally taken in landscape mode I thought this would be ok because it have a dialogue that basically said thats fine An it saw the letters But then I tried once more in vertical mode and it worked like a charm So just make sure you upload the correct orientation essentially Not sideways                 Great app Dont shoot in horizontal mode

Was excited for about 3 seconds until I opened and tried to use it Repeated errors with ever try How did this pass Apple     Haha useless

I am a freelance graphic artist and constantly download new fonts to use on client work Many times clients will request a specific font based off of an image but do not know the name of the font I often times have to search for fonts that are similar to the one the client is looking for so this app seemed like a great solution Only problem is the app works nothing like advertised It has the hardest time recognizing the simplest of fonts and if I can ever even get through the process of identifying letters in the picture with it recognizing letters and not the space between them the recommended fonts arent even close to resembling the original font I was trying match I have downloaded this app multiple times over the past few years to see if it has been improved or to see if it will just so happen to work for me this one time but I always end up with the same disappointing results every time     This App Does Not Do What It Says It Does

Every time I try to look at the alphabet in the font that I selected it shows an error notification and then takes me back to the home page I dont get to look at fonts which for me defeats the whole purpose of getting this app Please fix this bug        Bugcrash

I uploaded and deleted this app once already as it was utterly useless I gave it another try today and failing to identify Adobe Garamond Premier Pro three times really I consider this app a subjoke I work in design and should know better     Really

I use this app for my job all the time When a customer sends us artwork to work with full of fonts we cant identify I use this app to find them quickly instead of browsing a large binder of fonts It doesnt function perfectly all the time but in the right circumstances it works very well and is incredibly useful              Very useful

Although I only get it to work maybe a 3rd of the time this is my fault not the apps when it does work it provides amazing results One suggestion though allow a search history to see what weve looked at in the past                 AMAZING

When the app works correctly that is if you feed it a good photo of your font its awesome However it is frequently frustrating to get it to simply read characters in what is seemingly a perfect source photo This app is a must have for designers however its been completely abandoned The last version came out like three years ago so its still iPhone 4 sized and absolutely no iOS 8 styling With a relatively small amount of work the developers could make this app relevant again           Abandonware

I tried 5 fonts and it got them all wrong I even tried very simple fonts It came kinda close once but failed every other time I took multiple pictures cropped multiple times and even assigned the correct letters when it misidentified them This app is a total waste Try again     Useless waste of time

The app is able to identify typefaces without issue But when I tap on any fonts to look at the rest of the family it ALWAYS prompts with this weird error that says looks like we got body without function call And then it forces you back to the start screen so you cant look at the font you chose cant look at the list of results     Currently unusable

I just wish they would update it for the iPhone 5and I guess 6 and 6              Work greatmost of the time

Anyone rating this app over 1 star is likely a friend of the creator Remember those oldschool voice command systems Let me refresh your memory You tree It three No I said tree Pee TREE green tree TREE pcp The harder you try the more it fails This app might work if you can single out one character but realistically its crop feature is so bad that its not likely going to happen Youll spend less time and frustration manually surfing the font sites and guessing what your font is     An exercise in futility

Really usefull but not suits for my iPhone 5 old version just fit for iPhone with 35 screen           Please Update for 4 Screen

Every time I want to identify a typeface I use this app the one and only Works excellent                 It works Very useful

Garbage in garbage out So if you take a bad photo you will get bad results Similarly if you upload a clear photo with letters of the font that uniquely identify it the results are perfect                 Works very well

As in the title I have said the idea is really good but the design and size is for the iPhone 44s as much actual iPhone model The need to update the design and size for the new generation of iPhones such as 55s5c66 Plus     Good idea but not update

Its helped ID several of the fonts Ive needed it to but crashes randomly If I try to click on any of the possible fonts it IDs it crashes and says something about an error and I have to reload the image in Ill keep using it because its the only app like it available but I wish it was less buggy              Works Ok

Assessment It does a decent job found one font dead on and a font close to the second one I looked for but not exactly the same The good Definitely beats trying to find fonts with web searches The big problem When you click on any of the listed fonts the app has identified as a potential match you get a message saying that An unrecognized error has occurred following which the app either takes you to the start screen or crashes The improvable Photos taken within the app to use to identify the photographed font are saved to your camera roll photo stream Cant resize the box to select the letters to analyze once youve drawn it After enteringchanging the letters the app guesses for each letter image the keyboard disappears necessitating reclicking in the next box down over and over           Better than a web search

Love this app It stays dormant on my iPaduntil its needed Then it springs into action I know it is an iPhone app but I use it on the iPad Just came across a great font looking at website builders to create my own website Took a screen shot selected it from the app and within a couple of minutes I had five choices Brilliant What a great app I dont remember if I had to pay for it but I would pay for it all over again if I did Highly recommend it                 Sooo easy to use

This app is somehow simultaneously easy and hard to use There can be a couple frustrating glitches when doublechecking the characters identified suddenly not being able to edit or scroll or not being able to join an i or j to its dot and you have to make sure to not try to identify too much text error message Otherwise its easy to take a pic through the app and crop to what you want checked Ive tried to identify two fonts so far it got one right and couldnt figure out the other Lets just say it doesnt hurt to try           You win some you lose some
