I ve had issues in the past with the app freezing but this was minor for the most part After the last round of updates the app only opens one out of 10 times Logo appears then it crashes I ve deleted and reinstalled Still crashes I ve reset my phone still crashes I ve all but give up on it Crashes consistently briansmithdrums

This app is terrible The content is ok but you can t access it It won t scroll and crashes almost every time you use it I ve tried to contact them through email for support to see if there are any fixes but got no reply I ve deleted it and reloaded but it changed nothing Was my go to app for local new for a long time but too frustrating to bother with anymore Crash King Robert2315

The relentless ads causing the news stories to be covered up or not display at all caused me to delete this app Developer listen to the reviews ads are obtrusive I ll use News2 app instead at least I can read the stories If I could rate negative stars I would Deleted today FIX YOUR ADS KMAC-NC
The ads cover the whole article You can t click off the ad easily I get the purpose of the ads but to the point that I can t even use the app It s absolutely ridiculous I highly suggest you fix your app Fox 8 or you won t have any viewers on it very soon Ads Have Ruined This App silversurfer20

How useless an app is the new FOX8 Apple TV app Content is out of date and no Live news streaming This never should ve been released without that functionality engaged Pretty worthless at this point so we still stream Charlotte news channel 8 because at least their app is ready for prime time on Apple TV No Live News Streaming on tvOS app version TimBoehm

I prefer Fox 8 for local news weather and info Use to be ok with the app However there are pop up ads very regular while you re in the middle of reading an article some you could not close just kept popping up and couldn t even finish the story Good news is I don t get the pop up ads anymore because it CRASHES EVERY 10 SECONDS There isn t enough time to load an ad Crashes every 10 sec $7fxjigvn@::8'v

We begin by tapping and opening the app The Fox 8 logo appears for a couple of seconds and then the top news stories load Sounds alright Wait about 10 seconds after the stories have loaded the app comes to a freeze We can t even close the app until it unfreezes which it will within 30 seconds or so Alright we are past the glitchy freezey thing So we tap a story we would like to read Now come the ads All apps and websites have them no problem right Well a lot of these ads block the story until you tap the ad to open a browser window Ok we got the ad viewed and we are on the story about amazing video captured Oh but wait There is a story about the amazing video but no video hmmm Ok we just pick another story go through the ad thing again and Bam the whole app closes This is such an awesome app This app is incredible Dude27302
I thought my phone had a glitch but after reading the recent reviews I realized that others are having the same problems with pop up ads sudden shut downs etc The free IPhone 7 offers are particularly annoying I have to believe that these pop ups compromise the security of my device I hope you guys can fix the app bc I prefer Fox 8 WGHP over the other local stations However for now I feel like I am being forced to delete this app and go to another local station Unfortunate bc I love WGHP Phazey

I hate the new App Hate hate hate that when l am reading a story suddenly theres a game app for sale I sent 2 emails to them about it and no reply So l did the only thing l knew to do deleted the app Maybe if they improve it Ill add it back but for now will use the WXII app which l also despise but at least it doesnt randomly direct me to the Apple Store Whose idea was this anyway Actually zero stars

I used to read this news feed every day Since the new version was released I might open it once every week or two and mostly rely on the Fox8 feeds that come on FB newsfeed I only read the Opposing Views app daily now Disappointed I really liked this before the change The old app was far better

It gets really frustrating when I am trying to read an article and the whole app just freezes I close out and try to go back and it wont load I also hate the fact that the ads pop up so much and I dont even have to touch my screen and it will automatically pull up the ad at the bottom or take me to the App Store to get it This app needs a lot more work and as it stands I wouldnt recommend to anyone Sorry but get it fixed please The old one worked much better Needs a lot of work

This new app doesnt appear to work in landscape mode which is the mode that I typically use on my iPad The old app worked in landscape The old app offered a list of multiple headlines to choose from this app has a few stories displayed under the Top News category with large halfscreenfilling pictures accompanying the headlines I much prefer seeing the headlines listed out for access at a glance as opposed to being forced to scroll through 5 or 6 giant graphics on a few items Please return the old format This one I dont care for Greatly preferred the old app
