Starting over the weekend this app and the NPR app began cutting out approx every 30 60 sec rejoining after a minute or more This is not stuttering related to internet connectivity no other processes or video apps affected This is super frustrating can you fix Is there a WGBH only iPad app     Bad stop start issues BakingNinja

Update fixed it 4 12 17 below is prior version Don t know what happened but the app now freezes the phone crashes and generally should be avoided until someone wakes up and fixes it On the other hand a similar app from another NPR station in Boston still works                 Piling on App is dead TriedItbut…

Absolutely love listening to WCRB while working and this app does the trick Would like to see the ability to rotate the app to horizontal landscape mode Otherwise the app is great                 Love WCRB but lmairish

I downloaded the app expecting that the WCRB Early Music channel would be included in the app but it is not I am sure the rest of the app runs fine but not interested             No Early Music channel on the app aphasiasticus2

I hope the pointless weather feature isn t what needed a new version of the app for because we lost WCRB streaming and I am now missing the BSO live Why would I want weather from this app If we re streaming the radio online chances are we re not local to Boston to want local Boston weather and if it s something to deliver our actual local weather I have weather apps for that I don t want it in the app I m streaming music with Selecting WCRB from the expanding left menu doesn t seem to quit the app but it bumps me out to my home screen If I scroll through open apps it s still displaying but still with the WGBH station info not the WCRB info Pressing it again just bumps you out of the app again rinse repeat ad naseum you never get through     No WCRB access new feature but doesn t say what PopeJoan

The newest update 11 19 15 causes the app to crash when I try to open the WCRB streaming part of the app             WCRB Crash Wferickson

Since the I ve used newest update of the WGBH app 11 18 2015 the application shuts down when the WCRB link is selected in the left side hamburger menu The WCRB link was working fine before iPhone 6 iOS 9 1 WGBH app version 3 1 3 15             WCRB link not working Jea333

A recent update has breathed new life into this app the audio streams work like a charm and the news feed is a nice touch Just don t expect any WGBH TV content this is strictly a news and radio app But for what it is it gets the job done                     Great app made better by a recent update ewestby

I just deleted this app from my phone What s the point of having an app that doesn t work as in it never streamed live take up space Done with being frustrated every time I try to see if it will work     Deleted Srn67

Regardless of the quality of internet connection this app constantly cuts out and drops out Also it is very slow to load after opening Very poor quality and disappointing given my general trust of the GBH brand     Constantly cuts out Boom1247

This app used to be SO much better but the audio stream cuts out EVERY TIME I use it You re better off using the NPR app and selecting the WGBH stream from their Stations menu     What a Letdown BostonBennie

At the moment this app is unusable for streaming live audio When I press the Now Playing button I get a screen with a single play triangle and a Done button no information no feedback and sadly no play pressing anything but done produces no response no feedback nothing I m on a reliable LTE carrier and I still can t make this work Sad         Mediocre at best Chip Morris

Please fix this app I have listened to wgbh on my iPod for several years but after the recent iOS upgrade I effectively can no longer listen to wgbh online The streaming keeps stopping esp when I turn off the display or go to another app Consequently I will no longer hear about fundraising efforts     Fix this app Teresa Swartzel

We re having the same issue Connection drops every 20 or minutes or so into programming Frustrating as we did enjoy many WGBH programs here in Texas     Kay SKB987667899876

This app was great listened to WGBH all the time Now i am so frustrated i removed the app Can t browse past content only listen live and some limited selection of news With ios7 there were many issues with ios8 it is completely useless Shuts off all the time for no reason or plays ads after every 10 seconds of actual content Very very annoying Sure ios has to do much about it so only blame the app partially Still so very sad     It used to be good now horrible especially with ios8 Gfuresz

Very annoying streaming cuts out frequently requiring reboot but often it simply will not reload This happens occasionally with other stations but not nearly as often as WGBH     Shuts down frequently Avid Rita

This app lacks the most basic feature one would have expected right away being able to know what you re listening to when you were listening to a live stream I want to be able to listen to WCRB and know what it is that is being played information about the recording etc     Very disappointing jdh98467
