This app does not honor your settings on alerts I changed to breaking and weather and still get general alerts to what is next on the news     Alerts

Ads pop up constantly and the ap cant be used The ad is actually a blank screen that pops up right after you close it Find another news ap     Awful

Difficult and frustrating to use     All around poor design

A couple issues in using this app on my iPhone First I get notifications but when I open the app and try to scroll down to notifications the screen scrolls back up and hides the last two items in the list Next I signed up for text alerts and have not received any this year Last year it worked great not so great this yearand last but not least the app takes an incredibly long time to open I usually get tired of waiting and just go the channel 8 app which works quite a bit better And that is shame because channel 3 is my first choice for news        Needs work

Who runs this stuff I had to delete it and move to NBC30 but thats not much betterI just want accurate news updates and decent weather radar Like other complaints I dont want traffic updates or sports Needs work     Awful

Used to love this app but recent changes and adding more ads makes it impossible to read the news and get the weather report Each page is covered with ads from top to bottom Sorry to have to delete you Please consider getting a new web master I would gladly pay a small amount to delete all ads Will miss you     Recent changes

I see a few other reviews that have the same complaint When you send an alert and I click on it its because I want to know more Totally not helpful that you just open the app AND theres no story to be found Have the alert take you to more information specific to the notification        Alerts do not take you to a story

After the most recent update with your new look and the addition of non stop ads we are done I was already annoyed with the poor writing of the news articles and the ads have pushed me over Im deleting this app from my iPad     Our relationship is over

Although its a nice looking app the news content local news is not updated regularly especially on the weekends and holidays News items from three to five days old appear as new For all their boasting about having the latest news their app is a disappointment        Not updated regularly

Have repeatedly try to turn off the notifications and they STILL SHOW UP This NEEDS TO BE FIXED Dont waste your time with this app     Dont bother with this app its a hassle

Please never change your current traffic map It is fast easy and reliable I use it multiple time daily I trashed my former goto local news app when they changed from a traffic map to a listing of routes and issues Who has time and patience to scroll through all that Not I Thanks              Best traffic map

The major interface on this app is outdated insofar as the menu does not accurately inform the user about the type of information to be displayed There is also little ability to drill down into related or archived news stories Traffic info is good since it is drawn from other sources and presented live and up to date MAJOR FLAW There is no landscape mode supported in the latest update of this app WHY        Clunky news app

I really Cant tolerate this app anymore I checked off numerous times that i only want updates on breaking news yet WFSB classifies every car accident road closure and UCONN husky game as breaking news I constantly get ridiculous meaningless texts from them If I wanted traffic and sports updates I would have checked that category Until they get better filters on what is and what is not breaking news im saying good riddens to this app     Cant take it anymore

Not only is this app complete garbage but Im exhausted of the insane amount of hyperbole in every push notification Your job is to communicate news not a daytime drama I get all the same updates from WTNH and without all of the unecessary commentary so I will be deleting this app     Oh the Hyperbole

Im very happy to have the local news and weather streaming Its easy to access but it is at least an hour behind in the morning Your skies are dark while mine are just beginning to brighten Is there any way to improve Thanks for trying           Needs improvement

Does not rotate properly on ipad since upgrade How can something as basic as screen rotation be an issue this late in the game Release when ready not before     Basics fail

Notifications do not respond to being turned off A poorly conceived and implemented design One more thing after I deleted this app notifications kept coming No way to shut them off Did some research and found that it may be an improper software implementation of the push notification process Would be surprised Apple would let that into the App Store so I may be incorrect WFSB doesnt seem to care much about the audience using their apps Dont bother to download     Just Terrible

This app is horrible It is impossible to navigate The alert notifications take you no where and will not go away It is useless Very disappointing     Horrible

Push notifications when clicking on bring you to a screen that you have to guess which story they were referring to Worst app I have on my phone Weather app much better     Push notifications

News are late and the app works bad on the 5S Little better after last update but still needs tons of work     Total poo

The new update made the app so much more stable but there still should be some more options under the weather tab Some weather tabs that I would like to see are watcheswarnings temperatures              Much more stable but still lacking some features

Before I was forced to update Unfortunately this update looks far too much like the WTNH news 8 app which is THE most horrible update Ive made the mistake of downloading I rely solely on the WFSB app and if this new WFSB update is as bad as the WTNH app I want no part of it WFSB your app is not broken Dont fix it Update I had to accept the new app Its okay when it works The popup ads are maddening and when you close the blankscreen ad it just keeps popping back up Ive deleted and reloaded this app a dozen times because the news actually isnt bad but that stupid popup blank screen is useless and idiotic and will NOT go away You dont have to touch the screen the ads and the blank screen just appear Terrible app     This update stinks

This app has more and more phonedisabling pop up ads with each updaterelease that cause the app to crash Also news updates do not list correctly which makes weather forecasts and other relevant news appear inaccurate     Each Update More Ads

I cant watch live stream on this app anymore     Help

Who is in charge of this App Do they read the reviews They might want to listen to fan suggestions on how to make this thing better The weather portion is awful where did the described 3day weather go How am I supposed to know what its going to do throughout the day with just a picture of a cloud Worst of all every story I read on here is FULL of typos Isnt this journalism Do you just hire anyone Lastly just moments before writing this review the App crashed for the third time today Awesome job        Has gotten worse

After 3 ads coming up in my notifications I have had enough I have been a loyal viewing of the broadcast and user of the app but they have crossed the line     Enough with the ads

I have to agree with the other reviewers I love channel 3 news and weather but the app has become increasingly troublesome When I could no longer get rid of the alert number and it took forever to load I deleted it I hope they improve it     Very disappointed

Was forced to update appagainand it wont even open I even tried to delete and reinstall it no luck So irritating     No stars

I only have weather alerts indicated for notifications yet I am inundated with road closing no where near my house Governor Malloy crap sports and world news alerts If I wanted all of that I would turn on the news        Too many notifications

Overall I like the app but there are a few things that need to be corrected I find it annoying that the articles do not identify which town is being written about Usually I have to read the article and see which police dept is acting Then I know which town Recently I am getting notifications on my icon similar to the of emails on your email icon I dont know what these refer to and I dont know how to get rid of them The breaking news banner often doesnt bring me to a specific story Improvements would be nice           Still needs improvement

Ditto all the previous complaints Clicking on any of the news choices brings you back to the same local and irrelevant news How about some real news Its great that they have the only Doppler radar in CT to keep me safe Seconds count Too bad theres no way to access it from the app No radar map no detailed forecast The technical discussion is updated twice a day at best        Very disappointing app

The app is done well similar to other TV apps The site automatically takes you to an add and asks for your location If you decline you get a note again requiring your location and will not allow you to close I thought it was a problem with my ipad so I closed it and reinstalled it but it was the same I tried other TV apps from the same owner and there was no similar add        Add will not let you out

I cant get the notifications to go away Whenever I try and hit menu it wont let you select notification Please fix        Please fix
