WFMZ-TV 69News Mobile

5 days ago it started acting up Would not load I deleted it and installed it again Still having problems This is the first out of 7 times today that it actually loaded right away Im willing to wait and see if problems can be worked out        WFMZ 69 mobile

Too many advertisements was good at start then advertisements have as many as news stories they are annoying     69 news app

Traffic doesnt update Ive been using the app for 2 weeks and didnt notice the traffic part never changed Only realized it today because the huge accident on 22 The app said times were green but online it was red with an hour and a half drive     Traffic

Good app Keeps you on top of the areas news Lots of ads but Id rather have the ads pay than me Good design and colors Usually the first station reporting issues affecting the area                 Best station in my area

This a very good app I like it a lot it keeps me up to date on local and other county news It also sends me current things that are happening It is a must have                 Excellent app

This app tells all in my local area and thats all I need So much for newspapers                 Saves newspaper

Sorry 69 News I absolutely hate your app It is poorly organized and it is not easy to navigate The fact that there are ads and pop ups on your web version is completely ridiculous and very outdated The scrolling is not user friendly and ads pop up right away if your finger lands in the wrong spot Enough is enough Im dropping this app because every time you change it its worse     It is worse than ever

Love the app but your ads are to sensitive to touch You barely touch them while scrolling and it diverts you off the app very quickly Find it very annoying           Ads to sensitive

The latest version of the app is horrible with the advertisements I cant use the app for more than a minute without it redirections me to an advertisement That I did not click on Reading and article and not even touching the screen and it opens up the App Store to an app that is advertised in the article window           Updat issues

Reading not covered like I think it should be Also when it says refresh for further updates Pfffftttt Where r they Needs more articles surrounding Berks Co           No weekend news

I like 69 News to keep me up to date with breaking stories in my local area They tell you the facts and the backup when you need it Love it                 GREAT NEWS SOURCE

I love channel 69 their weather forecast is usually much more accurate than the Philly stations which have much more financial resources What I am VERY disappointed in however is there is no longer an alarm clock That is what I used to wake up to every morning for work and now I had to download another alarm clock app That was the feature I used the most and now its gone sighsThat being said it is a decent app for a great TV station Hopefully the next update will have the alarm clock back in it        Disappointing

WFMZ is a remarkable service to the Lehigh Valley the quality of news gathering and reporting is excellent and far more valuable to me than any Philadelphia station andor serevice                 Quite Happy With the New App

Like many other free apps this one has also been overtaken by excessive oversized ads What was once a great app has become increasingly cumbersome and frustrating to use And unfortunately the latest update hasnt changed a thing A few other complaints Traffic alerts should be available seven days a week why was the weekend option removed And when I click on weather I would like to see the reliable forecasts from 69 news rather than the inaccurate data from Weather Underground I understand the purpose of ads but when they are being shoved down our throats and greatly affect the functionality of the app things have gotten out of hand I would like to see an adfree paid version offered but that will probably never happen because it would most likely be less profitable than the adfilled free app Less is more keep the ads at the bottom and please give us back the app we grew to enjoy        Keeps getting worse

This app would be good if it werent for the ridiculous amount of ads plastered all over the screen I get that this is a free app but they went into overkill with the ads     Way Too Many Ads

I used to use WFMZ as my main source of local news However lately they have started included ads within the main page so as you scroll to get to the next story chances are you will hit the ad which then takes you to another page to play It is so annoying because it happens every few seconds as I scroll        Great news annoying ads

Newest format is terrible Stupid ads are as large as the articles They pop up as you are scrolling through the sludge Typical of recent app designers adfrenzy userunfriendly bloated applications Upd 423 another bloated update No changes to the app except to change the ad content Im sure Still activates the popups when you scroll Upd 615 newest update only slightly less aggravating Now there is an ad bar on the bottom in addition to the ads as you scroll There were three or four ads on the scroll that were for exactly the same dentist I believe the developers of this app are still in elementary school Kinda sad        Ad stupidity

I like watching the TV station so I thought having the app would make sense I really only use it to receive alerts on school closing I dont think it easy to navigate around I think the site could be redesigned to make it more user friendly              Enjoy the app

This is supposed be a local news service I see very little local news and news stories being repeated several times as you scroll down listings Lots of ads appear and sometimes redirect you when you are scrolling through news        Less local news and duplicate news

Duplicate and triplicate stories no follow up when you say to refresh to follow this story stories run to long           Its ok but need to clean it up

I used to use this app for most news however some stories just seem to lag on for days and Ive seen the same story under several different categories The ads are annoying I can find more additional news under another local news app        News App

Great for local news but there is a definite liberal bias on national and political news Any news that casts a shadow on progressive democrats is excluded from Ch 69 reporting Cannot depend on this app to be fully informed on national issues     National and Political News is Censored

This is my go to app for news of Pennsylvanias Lehigh Valley It generally updates stories very quickly and provides access to weather and traffic information                 Ads are a bit annoying but the best source for regional news
