The new Westchester Magazine app version 1.0.1 has been updated on 2014-03-04. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. I can t even launch the app so I can t download my subscription And it takes up a lot of space for what it is just a reader After a bad experience with Zinio I was ready for a new service but this is just as bad I won t be renewing my subscription     App constantly crashes mjc1393

I love this magazine but can t view my digital subscription because the app keeps crashing will not open since the latest update of the app Please fix             Not opening since latest update TimeDefied

Don t get me wrong this is a great magazine If you live in or near Westchester NY it keeps you informed of what s happening around the county However the old app through Zinio was much better The ads were interactive you could tap on an restaurant review and it would take you to that restaurants web page Or tap a phone number and it would ask if wanted to save it to you contacts or call to make a reservation This iTunes version of the magazine seems scanned in and not very well Zooming in a page at all immediately begins to degrade the pages content and pictures They said this was an upgrade NOT TRUE         Great mag trapped in a bad app MJC914

Love the westchester magazine but the app experience has been terrible 1 the navigation is very tough moving from one page to another is a chore 2 the items in the index are not links to the section and you need to scroll to the page or use the go to which only works if you know the page number 3 the resolution of the magazine is not retina 4 subscription through the app was not easy What I don t get is why try reinvent the wheel there are so many good magazine apps all they had to do was to use the same flow and experience Hopefully they fix this soon         Terrible navigation SatyaB
