Great app minus the streaming live video It works for 1015 seconds and then crashes           Fix the streaming video

This is a refreshing app but I agree it needs much improvement Especially the streaming capability I cant view the live stream for more than 5 seconds and I have a great wireless internet connection Awesome addition to the Roku If I had to review that alone this would have 5 stars Look forward to an iOS update soon           Good start keep improving

But i did not The streaming feature was why I wanted to upgrade to the paid version It is horrible I have paid for 99 for other apps that are 100 better than this I cant get more than 5 secs before it crashes Take my word wait until they fix this before you make the same mistake     I should have trusted the bad reviews

Right now its 90 at my home this app says its 63 Over the past week its never even been close to reality What a waste of 3     Worst app ever

Like the new sleek look The interface and graphics definitely needed an update in an iOS 8 world And the live video stream finally appears to be up to snuff Lets keep it that way ok Just as a word of caution while the social media stuff is fine and all dont let development of those functions get in the way of actually reporting the weather For those of with the premium version of this app please remember that were paying you guys to give us the news not some Joe Schmoe with a smartphone Keep that in mind before out any update that cripples the weather reporting of your network Finally whats up with the ad banner on the bottom of the paid app I suppose its understandable for the free version but those of us who already paid you shouldnt have to be subjected to that garbage Get rid of it if you want a higher rating from me           Whats up with ad banner

I upgraded to the paid version for the sole purpose of being able to watch the 247 live stream It stops working after about 10 seconds     Live 247 video stream doesnt work properly

Live video crashes just as others sayAdvise not to buy till it is fixed if you want live tv     App needs a fix

Those complaining need to look at their wireless setup and internet providers This new user sends kudos for a beautiful and functional app both iOS and Roku                 The interface and video streams are beautiful

IT guys here need to make an app that doesnt crash 14 seconds into the video Bought it but deleted it Dont waste your     Terrible App

Finally a weather application that is intelligent and speaks to my question If I want a 72 hour outlook its there If I want to hear from a person trained in providing detailed weather information to an inquisitive layman WeatherNation is there for me Thank you Weather Nation team                 Great App

The latest update still has some glitches in live steaming b video Will play for 1520 seconds then jump back 5 seconds and keeps jumping back during steaming Seems to smoothly steam the weather on demand segments Hope the live video gets fixed           Latest update now improves video

I wrote a long review and accidentally backed out and lost it So Im just going to say if you want to gain viewers you need to make a good first impression I love what you do with live weather but my cable provider doesnt carry you so I downloaded the app and PAID for it and I cant even stream video because it crashes every 3 seconds and wont work PLEASE FIX VIDEO STREAM     Video Stream Doesnt Work

Search feature to add new cities needs some improvement but WAY better than TWC I deleted their app              Pretty good

I was told the video stream would be fixed in a matter of days and yet many weeks later it still does not work This is by far the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with It seems to me they just dont care about this product The worst weather app I have ever purchased in my opinion     False advertisement in my opinion

This was a solid app from a great service Unfortunately the last forced upgrade broke the app on IOS 511 and no amount of delete and reload helps Fail mode is on starting the app the iPhone screen blinks black and returns without the app running     They broke it

When I first saw WeatherNation I thought I was back in the good old days of The Weather Channel when youd actually get the weather WeatherNation has live anchors a modern set forecast breaks with nice music advanced graphics and accurate forecasts all day Since The Weather Channel hooked up with NBC things arent the same I cant tolerate Al Roker hes annoyingly unfunny and should stick with The Today Show doing parades If I want documentaries Ill watch one of several Discovery channels but I want weather 247 and now someone has the sense to bring that format back The app is full of neat features and the paid version allows you to watch it live I live on the Gulf Coast and during hurricane season we need the weather right now not following a weathermentary and WeatherNation gives exactly that Cable could replace The Weather Channel with WeatherNation anytime for me                 The way The Weather Channel USED to be

Nice app but dont charge if you cant deliver reliable video streaming This is a huge plus for those of us who are coming over to Weather Nation from TWC due to DirecTV Being able to see the actual coverage while away from home is nice but not when the stream crashes after 5 or 6 seconds Had it stream once for 15 seconds but still not acceptable           Fix the Video Stream

This is the best weather app I have ever out on my phone and I had done many and paid for a few This one had no ads and tells you everything you need to know Get this for weather and get rid of the rest The best weather app ever                 WeatherNation

Top down design with sliding shelfs like hourly and extended make provide all info I need Maps work great just have to expand the box and goes full screen and contains multiple layers Video and live stream work amazing And great photo and video share features Love this App well done WeatherNation                 Great new design

I dont watch the streaming weather videos so thats not a part of this review brief review The app loads quickly and weather info is accurate The map has a lot of options and overlays which is important There are many different views which are easily accessed The only complaint is on the extended forecast all the text is cut off there is now way to extend or view the forecast Also there is no text descriptions of the upcoming forecast which is standard in even the worse weather apps           Solid app

This shows that its raining here but theres not a cloud in the sky Why change this app Go back to the old one its easier read and follow           Im not enthused with it now

I downloaded this app as a weather junkie We were under a winter storm warning and I wanted to see what everyone was predicting All the apps I have picked up the alerts from the NWS except this one We are expecting 12 inches and this app still just says snow showers What a disappointment Dont download this one     What a disappointment

While the video is clear it only plays for 45 seconds before stopping Not worth spending money for a feature that doesnt work     Poor video stream

I was really hoping for something to replace weather Channel Every time I turn on weather channel TV they seem to be showing everything except weather I cant wait to Comcast its as smart as DirecTV and dump weather Channel That said this app is terrible It only appear sideways on your iPad And cuts off the first few letters of every line Hopefully they can hire some 13yearold kid and improve the app     Poor

I used to love this app but so many times the weather never updates I am going back to weather channel that has a working app     Gone down

Simple uncluttered screens No video problems using iPhone 5s but it would be nice if the bottom menu is customizable I would prefer the map button to be on the first page              Good overall details need improvement

I like Weathernation its Roku channel has been a great thing to have The app is good it gives me the information I need without any excess that I really dont But there is some room for improvement What I think needs changing The User Interface feels dated like 4 years ago It works but it doesnt feel like a cutting edge provider is giving me weather Which is weird bc the Roku app and the live streams are very polished I would try to utilize space and transparencies better in the app consolidating some options maybe to make fewer tabs Make photos more integral Maybe have an option to open on the latest weather pics or integrate them into the background as a live snap shot of whats going on Give power users the option to more or less look at a data sheet Those who really want to know the tiny details This bit is not important to me but I feel it might be to others Weathernation would do well to better utilize social media and integrate that into a social tab A tab where the official FB twitter Instagram accounts of weathernation and its meteorologist could be compiled into one stream add pollen counts and allergy forcasts I plan to keep using this app as I like the network and the overall service I really hope they work to really polish this app and give people a real reason to switch from The Weather Channel and similar apps           Good But needs some work

I would have removed all stars but you must give at least one which is not deserved here this app is now just terrible Their IT team has no clue and should have been fired a long time ago you take input from customers and clients to make your product better not in this case Their live streaming service works like its stuck in the 1990s audio and video is consistantly mismatched and losing connectionespecially on their Roku channel as well Kalturra streaming service seriously Its really too bad they had such great potential to take over now that Weather Channel is reality shows Obviously a total lack of quality control and misdirection I also like how their IT dept reviews their own terrible creation     Had potential not anymore

Video streaming keeps cutting out every 12 sec Every time I start the app it whines about location even after I gave it my ZipCode guys thats all you need Worry about app quality first worry about tracking later Severe weather alert button was on second page dont cha think a severe alert rates a front page position One word iPad There is some promise here but needs a lot of work        Rush job and it shows

On the Radar map the lightning strikes never show upis it a glitch Other than that great app              Lightning Strikes dont show

I like everything about this App The one problem I am having is that it is freezing the phone Pun intended It has a tendency to lock up the screen when phone comes out of sleep mode The whole screen looks to be shifted down one space The only button that works is the top one So the only way I have found to unlock it is to go to the shut down screen then hit cancel        Lots of good features one glitch

Its nice to have the live video feed but it runs 820 seconds and then disappears and then you are unable to restart        Fix the Live Video Feed

This app is great 3 for no ads you cant beat that Unfortunately the app crashes often especially during swipes between locations full screen maps forecasts In addition the app freezes on startup        Great App Design but crashes often

I got this app because I was tired of TWC and their asinine storm naming of cold fronts I was also very displeased with the look of their new app Guess what YOUR app now looks exactly like TWC Thats my first complaint My other The radar no longer works Not to mention it being aaaaaaalll the way on the bottom Why doesnt the time lapse work If youre going to be just like TWC I might as well give up on you guys too Im so frustrated when apps get updated and ruin more than they fix        Booooo
