I used to respect WDBJ7 s weather app but they are just throwing random ads up that I care nothing about and usually right as I m about to tap the screen to see the radar map which opens their ad Seriously WDBJ Can t you scale back all these forced ads Way too many Ads oojbrssoo

The pop up ads make this app quite challenging to use Pop ups Cwhepner

This started off as a GREAT app Easy to use with everything needed With every update more useless features more clutter more ads and more intrusive annoyances are added I ve used it for several years and used to recommend it to everyone I m about one update from uninstalling right now The latest update now has it telling me to turn on Bluetooth every time I launch the app so it can connect to my accessories Ok what Uh no Btw WDBJ7 is still my favorite local news and weather source but this app is about done for me Worse with every update funkgtr

What was once a decent app is now just a bloated piece of garbage It opens to a full screen ad that you can t dismiss When it finally loads it isn t to a weather map with an overview It s some strange set of options You have to scroll down to see the weather And it freezes every time you try to scroll Attempt to switch between options and you get taken to another full screen ad A horrible and infuriating user experience And this app uses a TON of data in the background 140 MB a month for something I rarely use What the hell is it doing With all the many excellent weather apps out there avoid this piece of junk Whoever designed this should be fired Ruined a formerly good app Njb_626

The latest update included full screen pop up ads which show up each time you click to read a forecast Very annoying It was a great app before they did that Pop up ads LMusickVA

Video forecast not updated since last Wednesday Video forecast

The 10 day forecast is so hard to read now it was much easier to read when it was horizontal Also quicker to tell what the days weather would be since it had larger and more colorful pictures Dont like the new update

Seen a storm coming thought it would be nice to have more info about the local weather Im really amazed at all the info this app provides So much more than the built in app provides Informative

I cant stand the way the map looks since the newest update I cant tell where any locations are it all looks the same and good luck being able to quickly see if rain is heading your way You might as well step outside rather than being nauseated by trying to find where you are on the jumble of roads and waterways Please change back to the old map view this one is horrible Dislike new map

I used this app all the time to check the weather since I dont have cable or satellite anymore It was so handy to pop into in the morning to see what the kids needed to dress for school Notice I said used to I really dont care for the new update Everything is smaller more cramped so therefore its harder to read quickly when youre in a hurry Now the 10 day forecast is vertical so it is squeezed onto the screen instead of allowing you to scroll through it I dont like that It makes it much harder to view IMO There are less icons now since they took up space as well I liked the sun rain clouds and snow flakes If I saw a bright yellow sun on the day I was looking for well that kinda made it obvious what the weather was going to be The tiny black and white things that they have now are pitiful I checked out WSLS channel 10s weather app and it was more to my liking now Sorry channel 7 but you screwed up Im switching Please go back to the old one

I love the app you can search the weather to find out how to dress or by the hour for special occasions I have it 4 stars due to the fact I am a mother of two and I would like to see a option for reminders of any school closings that apply to you and your kids Overall very satisfied Most important app
