This app really seems to work and I HOPE it only gets better At first I was skeptical but I tried it and it worked A LOT cheaper than Western Union and MoneyGram I am not 100 sure about the money conversion rates but it does work and is cheaper by a noticeable amount I dont like that it asks for the last 4 digits of your SSN but you can bypass that as I did Update It failed with an unknown error for an obvious unknown reason on January 8 2015 and calling their help line was useless as well as it incessantly regurgitates the message Were sorry an application error has occurred Hopefully they can fix it as it is still is super rusty now Hit or miss
I like that the app verifies the phone numbers before you send and confirmation is in seconds Send wave works flawlessly

I often use WU and the rates that Wave shows for western unions competitor rate is just too high Also I wanted to test it out and send money using wave but it kept telling me that I need to verify my email address by sending a link to to my email I never got that email since 4072015 to this date Misleading and lack of support

I tried to send money using this app and it said I needed to send a picture of my ID to prove my identity After sending the photo my money was on hold for 4 days and I could not get anyone to respond to my emails or texts to get my identity resolved I finally asked for my transaction to be cancelled They didnt ever answer the phone you have to email or text to get help I was never given a reason why they were ignoring my requests for help but they did cancel my transaction Terrible Support
Wave is agood app but the transfer rateschanges quoted for money gram and western union are misleading where they tend to show that wave is cheaper than money gram which is not true wave is just so convenient but pay a little bit extra By clear that for fair business practice Misleading transfer rate for western union and money gram
I have been using wave since the day it launched its so easy and fast to use its so simple my mom can even use it that say lot about the app And on top of that I dont have to leave the house or even my bed all while saving so much money What I love the most about it is that I get a msg letting me know the money was sent and they people back home received it its instant and direct Wave believer
I use the app quite often and I like it Only issue I have is the displayed exchange rates for Western Union and Money Gram that are incorrect I hope in time this will be fixed to provide a more realistic picture PMO

Wave crashing on my iphone 6 when I click on login it disappears when I click on register it opens first page then if u try to type anything it disappears as well I have deleted and downloaded 10 times to no avail Fix it or keep loosing customers Wave crashing on my iphone 6
The exchange rate you get on this app is 3 below market exchange rates which makes this app as bad as withdrawing money using almost any US atm card Yes it will be more convenient than going to the ATM but you are not saving money The end You are charged a 2530 fee on this app
This is the best idea for money transfers Ive used it a couple times and I just wish I had this tool earlier on Id urge anybody and everybody to give it a try I just love it Dr
They need to give realistic or more importantly ACTUAL competitor rates At this moment WAVE says WU will convert at 811 Kshs MoneyGram at 453kshs while WAVE will do so at 905 Kshs but WU website shows it will convert at 9001kshs Thats a significant difference Great service but you algorithm needs some work Misrepresented fees

I tried to send money to my brother in kenya and the transaction wouldnt go through So i called and was told to message or email i texted On August 22 By september 13 STILL no response I tried calling twice Then msg twice Nothing Im thinking Wave is a HUGE money scheme I caution anyone using this app No support
