For me this app is the medium through which I receive the top stories in the watch world If there s something worth talking about I usually catch wind of it through Watchville A great complication to the app is the time function If using the app to set the time on your watch it ll give you a 5 second countdown before the start of the next minute I think the app s time is synched to NIST but I could be making that up You can choose the sites that appear on the main feed You aren t limited to the linked articles on the feed either You can click on related articles suggested by the site not the app I love the app because you don t have to sift through tons of topics to find one that you want to see more about I still find myself going down a rabbit hole of curiosity anyways It s got a simple neat layout and best part of all is that it s free                     Hardly ever rate or review apps but this is a great app kgoodpark

This is a great app as long as the author isn t showing you one of his abominable sponsored watch dials As of this writing the dial is a completely unreadable blank white blur apparently sponsored by A Lange S hne who should demand a refund for the damage this has caused to their brand I will find some other way to set my watch This app has become too much of a pain         Increasingly illegible cmrddy

Update another update and another unwanted watch face change How hard can it be to have a few different faces in the app and a way to change them I couldn t give a care about the rest of this app Changing from 3 stars to 2 Maybe you guys were tired of the old watch face but I enjoyed it When I saw the description of the update I expected something like this This app needs an option to change the watch face and modify the complications and it would be perfect         Me too the watch face WHY bwguy

This is still a very good app for most of its uses such as collecting articles from the Internet on Watch news However the new watch face atomic clock function misses the mark big time The app s normal watch face as well as the Tudor versions are very good The reason they work is they are a black watch background and light colored hands and that makes it easy to read The new Lange watch face is essentially all white The face is white the hands are almost white and the hour markers are near white it basically can t be read at a quick glance Even worse it is so white that you can t use it at night even when you turn down the brightness and use the iPhone s auto brightness function Using it in the car as my clock which is what I normally do can no longer be done because it is like you re pointing your iPhone s flashlight right in your eyes I don t know why they decided to cripple one of the app s great functions and make it dangerous to use but they did so I ve changed my previous 5 star rating to 4 I also got a different free clock app to use instead of this one when I m in the car or at work                     New Lange watchface hinders clock function Markdcf

First of all I love the A Lange Sohne dial Even more than the Tudor dial which was awesome Has all the latest horological news from all different sources The clock is perfect to sync your watches and to time them if you create your own chart                     Best for news and syncing time Meh..........

Update They have made this app even better Easily my favorite app on both iPhone and iPad I absolutely love this app I use it on my iPhone and iPad and it works beautifully on both The exact time feature is really useful for setting my watches and then checking to see how accurately they are keeping time the next day The various blogs they have programmed into the app are terrific and diverse I like getting notified when a new post comes up but you can tweak that in the settings if you don t There are really only two features that would improve on Watchville in my humble opinion 1 The ability to add add another RSS feed related to horology although I m sure they will add any good ones via an update 2 The option to choose from a few classic watch faces for the exact time I presume Tudor is paying them to use their watch face Hard to blame the developers for wanting to get some compensation Overall Watchville is a fantastic app for lovers of mechanical watches                     Almost perfect My favorite app Leon_Phelps
