This is the official WA state parks app and it s loaded with ads The website has been outsourced too and the website is ad laden as well If this were the latest version of Crush the FarmVille Candy Birds I d be more forgiving but this is a state agency financed with my taxes and user fees so 1 star for selling out Well that and the UI and UX are pretty crappy Now with More Ads MikeStew

Very slow Some obvious bugs Very inconsistent info from one park to another Not even a map of each yet Bring binoculars under birds for a park is unhelpful at best I want to be able to disable the emergency alert button Terrific idea but both the structure and the content need work Disappointed

Ive been a fan of all of the pocket ranger apps since their initial release Yeah sure there were a couple of bugs here and there in the other apps but what app doesnt have a few kinks that still need to be ironed out The point is none of these bugs took away from the whole app user experience I can say the same for this new WA app Can this app be improved Sure anything can be improved Can I expect these improvements in future updates Based on my user history with the other Pocket Ranger apps I havent been disappointed yet Another great outdoors app

I got the app with high hopes But upon waiting about a minute for the app to update it goes to a blank black screen with a gigantic X on the top left Then its frozen and will not proceed Please fix I would love to support this app when it is running accordingly Can anyone actually use this

Every time this app starts or when you switch back to it from another app it takes about 2030 seconds to load updates This is a bit extreme and makes it a very clunky unenjoyable experience I can understand if it wants to update once per month or week but not every time its opened Clunky startup
