Clunky unintuitive slow in spite of being used on a phone several generations newer than what the app was originally designed for Now with added absence of support for large screens and badly pixelated fonts The only reason to spend money on this is that PP shut down the free and great alternative apps I m so glad Privateer Press stuck with the highly competent Tinkerhouse Games for the upcoming version 2 of this disaster     Still awful after all these years mathieut

This was a decent enough app and was updated regularly I fell out of using it for a while and came back to it recently and updated it No one in my gaming group can successfully join anyone s game anymore This app is still useful in that it updates with card errata and is a decent list building app but the game hosting function is pretty much broken for everyone I know trying to use it Years after release still only half functional             Used to work not anymore TacoCopter1942

Warmachine itself is a great game but this app is facepalm inducing The interface is unforgivably bad Simple things like where s the button to exit this screen have no consistent pattern Essential menu items like the ability to log in are only available at the top level menus forcing you to back out of what you were doing if the app insists on that Which it sometimes does for no apparent reason The app will sometimes refuse to proceed until you log in which makes it unusable if you re in a dead zone The app becomes unresponsive after swapping to a new army screen for seconds And that s the regular stuff you get used to It finds new ways to break periodically atop that The cards are frequently incorrect and there s often a long lag between when new units are added to the game and when they re added to the app Reporting errors to the dev team does not result in fixes Finally one of the key features has been broken as long as I ve been using this app You re supposed to be able to connect to another player you re gaming against and swap lists I ve never seen the app even successfully make the connection let alone swap lists         Impressively terrible baudot

You can t even build a list with coughing up 7 per faction Even the complete bundle of all cards for 60 is a ripoff it s just pictures with stats Miniature games need to get over trying to sell you a stat line and trying to stop them from being posted online People will still buy the models even if the stats are free At list give us a list builder version with only point costs no stats or damage tracking for free Like that other app did that you shut down with litigation years ago     Waste of time Ticktock45

It took me a second to figure out but to add warjacks you have to add them like wargear to your war caster Other than that functions as intended People say 7 is expensive to have all the rules info for your units I completely disagree the price is great It has a complete index of special rules and terms for free as well The only reason it s not a five from me is ease of use is a bit lacking                 Not intuitive but functions Timathius

7 for an army that gets updated every time new models come out or 30 for a book plus each expansion book I would recommend buying all of them That way you never have to ask your opponent to see their cards or what does that do You can also use your armies that you create so you never have to carry cards around Each unit has the same front and back that the cards do and you can track wounds As to the 1 star reviews you might want to become a better informed consumer before trashing a product that you clearly have no idea how to use You must attach warjacks to your warcaster using the paper clip in the top right of your warcaster entry                     Great App LaCr01x

I think that this app should have the ability to add war beasts or jacks to any given army I don t know why it doesn t let you but that takes out the function of the app that lets you easily and accurately monitor your point costs as you create your army You can do better than this guys     No Warjacks beasts Really Zaravin

Here s an update I found that on my iPad if I turn on auto lock for screen rotation and turn off auto rotation in the app opening this app in the horizontal position then works consistently good That has resolved the button issues I was previously experiencing I recommend giving that a try for all iPad and iPad Mini users                 Bug fixed Azgrin

The app is slow due to unresponsive UI and clunky interface there are visible pauses after every button press Buttons are too small even on iPad screen and inconsistently placed Everything consistent Apple app interfaces have taught you to expect is wrong so be prepared to learn a whole new interface designed by a committee of people who hate you You should also expect to spend at least 14 to make it at all functional 7 each for one faction deck and the mercenaries minions deck for any out of faction additions you might want for your list or shell out 30 40 60 for all WM H Both decks as a bundle The army building feature is very flexible which means it will not keep track of theme lists or enforce any of the rules for legal list construction In short it will just write down a list of things you tap on nothing else Combined with the terrible interface it is likely easier to use a pen and write your list out on the back of a napkin This is a shameless money grab and a very poorly implemented one at that     Terrible MrMarkFrench

This app is pretty handy to have It contains the rules in an easy to use index Having access to all the cards in one place is great Building armies is easy jacks and beasts are attached to the caster so you have you pick the caster then press the Army button and then the paper clip button on the casters line Overall very happy with the app                 I can dig it xxCreative1xx

Ok so my initial 2 stars was harsh This app does work and do its job however QA was lacking and ease of use was not thought out My initial impression was that my Army cards which I purchased could not be pointed out viewed or was crashing the app However it was the lack of intuitive UI that threw me off After playing with it for some time I can see how it works The devs have made some effort to educate with screen pointers thus my three stars instead of two             QA fail QAman

I had not received a lot of the issues others did on install with my ipad air or iphone 4s Also i like a lot of the fixes and improvements to the program but on more extensive use i find i must eat my earlier words of praise There are still some stability issues that will cause the need for full reboot of the ios Also few of us tried several times to create a multiplayer battle with no success Its a step in the right direction but its still runs like a poor beta even though its been fully released for a year or so         Nice improvements but SkeletonGrin

After the update I can no longer find the Warbeasts category when building an army It makes it hard to build an army without Warbeasts Before the update it was a great app Drop this app developer     No Warbeasts Crashes1

Version 1 2 may have lacked a lot of features we wanted BUT AT LEAST IT RAN This version is horrible 1 taking 10 hours of constant trying just to log into their system to update the card data set is unacceptable It not working unless you did is means it was not working 2 after it updated the thing hung up on validation CONSTANTLY Can t very well make an army when it is spinning for 10 minutes doing the ONE thing that was important in the update 3 it can t even make simple armies as it is hanging up in every list Fix this I liked it a lot before but it is not worth spending money on right now     Did a blind monkey test this Ragnaroknrol
