Walk Up! Alarm Clock

This is a great idea and I hope as they continue to fix bugs this can be a great app There needs to be an easier way to deactivate the alarm for weekends Also I paid for it to play music instead of the scream but if can only get a few songs to actually play Most importantly I want an easy on off button for the days I want to sleep in Also a help page in the app would be nice           Great idea needs some bugs fixed

If I could describe this app in a small phrase it would be simply awful I was delighted to see that the app was free but this is facade for several fees to come What you already know is that you need to pay for your own music and you probably know that the music doesnt work But what you dont know is that it doesnt allow you to choose any of your alarm tones So if I want to wake up to the iPhones marimba or something similar Im not allowed to do that on the app If I have a funny ringtone or custom jingle Im not allowed to use that in the app And if you exit out of this lifesaver it sends you constant nagging alerts which means that I cant go into power saving mode and my phone is always burning juice I was one of the poor suckers who got this app thinking it was great If there are some serious updates it might be great someday but as for right now I wouldnt even look at this app unless you like to wake up to bloody murder and love having a phone with no battery DO NOT GET     Not worth the headache

What I hate most about the Walk Me Up app is that I have yet to find ANY way to control the volume I am unhappy waking up every day to this blood curdling scream that only plays for max volume Although this wakes me up it also wakes up others in the house who would wish to sleep I also cant stand the notifications you receive if you delete your app history shortly before the alarm is meant to go off Constant vibration with the words Youve only cheated yourself is very annoying and unpleasant I literally had to go to Settings and turn off my notifications from this app Then when I went to use this app the next day without ever disabling the alarm just the notifications this horrendous app made me walk 30 steps and as always did not stop screaming until I completed it In conclusion this app is super annoying and desperately needs some serious improvement     THIS APP GIVES ME STRESS

But it is absolutely the worst sound to wake up to extremely too loud and only has a selection of other horrorHalloween sounds to wake up too Less Im going to kill you in the morning and more of a productive tool with some customization I would buy it out right but this is A good amount of overboard There are some other ones out there just search wake and shake     Works

This changed my life until I figured out that I could simply delete the app and re download it to turn off the alarm I like that you can choose the amount of steps and while others may not enjoy it my friends thought I was crazy when I told them about the app I like the screaming because it gets me up The only thing I think they should add is an option again option to restrict leaving the app until the alarm turns off so the option to delete the app or close it is no longer an option Because I always tell myself I wont do it but well do anything when we want sleep              Its good but could use some improving

I was really excited to use this app until I got up one morning AND IT WOULDNT TURN OFF I jumped out of bed around 615 and started walking I looked down at one point AND IT HAD COUNTED NONE I stood there shaking my phone like a mad man praying to god the damned thing would turn off before a member of my family came to see if I was being brutally murdered finally I just turned my phone off because after 5 minutes of shaking it had only gone down 7 steps        I went a little crazy

Make an option to turn the alarm on and off for certain days of the week This alarm is impossible to turn off even on my days off I cant even force close it without it constantly vibrating and pinning to my status bar Id prefer not to wake up to a blood curdling scream on my days off This needs to be fixed It also drains my battery like crazy Barely can get through a day     Close but no cigar

As others have said unless you want someone screaming in your ear you have to pay for alternate sounds Your own music for example Guess what That doesnt work again like someone else mentioned When the alarm goes off no music just vibration But the worst thing You CANNOT turn this off If you try it lectures you you are only hurting yourself and has a vibrating thumping loop that keeps you from using your phone The only way to turn off the alarm is to delete the app Which I did     Worthless annoying junk

I like the concept of the alarm but I dont like a few things about the actual app Cant be turned off other than walking even if youre already up or turning off your phone volume only goes to max setting no way to turn it down Not sure if Ill continue to use it or not        Good concept bad execution

This app rocks I try to get up at 4am so I have a little time to wake up before I exercise but often times I shut alarms off in my sleep I dont even remember doing it This app got me up this morning And my wife too she isnt too fond of it Too bad it doesnt brew coffee because I woke up to a broken Kuerig                 This App rocks

I like the alarm sounds and concept BUT I really dislike that once you walk up at the set alarm time you cant close the app without multiple notifications that Im cheating myself The only way to stop it Uninstall it Its a serious design flaw the developer needs to fix        Serious design flaws Dont download until this app gets fixed

I was so pumped for this app I thought wow what an ingenious idea It makes you walk away fro the bed to assure awakening I am glad that I put this through a test run at 1153pm before I was going to spontaneously set it for 5am and see what happens I am happy I didnt because what would have happened is I would have wet the bed and probably have a heart attack I was aware that the tone was going to be a scream but FULL VOLUME Are you serious My test run consisted of me Frantically grabbing my phone holding my hand over the speaker as hard as I could running around the house heart beating out of my chest praying my ill brother upstairs would hear and be awakened from his slumber     If you have a heart conditionnot for you

This app sounded amazing I have the worst time getting up in the morning and thought this would help It didnt even go off OkI take brag back it did when I opened the app to try to see why it didnt go off Good thing I set a back up alarm for 5 minutes later I hate that I spent 99 on this app to use my music and the notifications SHUT UP I dont need a full 2 minutes of repeated notifications telling me Im cheating myself Tsk tsk tsk I dont want the app running in the background all day sucking my battery life Will be deleting this app And that makes me sad because I really was hoping this would work     Waste of space

I purchased to play music for the alarm There is no volume adjustment when the alarm goes off This app should be banned from Apple searches it so horrendous     Awful

This works but it annoys the hell out of you if you wake up before hand and it drains the battery throughout the day if you leave it on repeat iOS 8 shows you what drains the battery the most and it has consistently been this app by far that uses the most This is why it gets 1 star     Works but drains the battery like crazy

I paid the extra money to have the ability to choose a song from my library to wake up to rather than the sound of torture When the alarm goes off it doesnt make any sound My phone just vibrates and the sound icon pops up on my screen What a gyp I even tried with the vibrate option off and nope I did have to walk to get the phone to stop vibrating but thats besides the point I want to wake up to Bob Marley not the sound of something from a Saw movie Get it fixed and I will update my stars accordingly     Doesnt work completely

I like this app but had to delete it because some times it does not count steps and will annoy you because it leaves no option other than deleting it to stop Closing the app and restarting does not help neither does restarting the phone Only option you will be left with is delete           Good app Needs bug fixing

Dont you ever want to sleep in Maybe on the weekends Well this alarm will not let you Id LOVE to it 5 stars level if you could turn it off If you try it literally sends you notifications every second I just had to uninstall because it was taking over my phone It works great as an alarm but please let us have the weekends off        Cant turn off

The app has been working for a while up until I figured out a way to cheat These days I simply power off the phone by holding the lock button and roll back into bed Idk if this is a problem that you guys can fix Maybe lock the ability to turn off the phone If you guys can make this improvement this would be a flawless alarm worthy of 5 stars           Lock Button Snooze Button

It gets me up In fear of awaking my entire house hold I run back and forth to quiet the mans screams Unfortunately if I attempt to close the app it repeatedly fires gunshots until I open it Having it run all the time even in the background chews up my battery so I delete and download this app everyday              almost perfect

Great concept and really works when you wake up to the alarm could do without the screams HOWEVER its unfortunate that there is no way to turn off the alarm if you wake up before it goes off Since I couldnt turn the alarm off I changed the time to the afternoon and tried to close the app That only caused the notifications to go crazy I got a notification every second telling me that I was cheating myself along with an explosion sound I could not get the notifications to stop so I restarted my phone Once my phone came on the notifications continued The only way to get them to stop was to delete this app     Good until

I really enjoy this alarm clock it allows me to wake up to my music The only problem is that you cant turn this app off Because of that it eats away at your battery           No off

Love the idea but Im not going to pay 1 cent less 1 dollar to enable a decent wake up sound Good tech idea bad business idea        Good idea but a ripoff

This app is great for getting me out of bed It does an excellent job at that The blood curdling scream makes my wife want to punch me in the throat so thats added incentive to get up The only HUGE drawback Ive experienced is that this app drains my phone battery iPhone 6 When I check battery usage it used 56 of my battery today out of all battery usage and Im usually down to 20 or less by lunchtime This requires me remembering to kill the app manually after I get up It would also be nice to have it remind you to save your alarm if you forget to hit save Ive done that a couple times and thank god I woke up on time But it could have been much worse Other than that if youre a lazy sleeper like I am and hit the snooze button constantly this is the best app to get your butt out of bed Improve the battery usage and its a good solid 455 stars for me Thanks for getting me to the airport on time numerous occasions Just keep making it better           Battery HOG

Doesnt make any sense if you can cheat with circular moves in bed And get back to sleep     You can easily cheat w circular moves in bed

The app is a great idea and effective it was just poorly done The guy screaming the no volume control you cant shut it off you cant close the app without it forcing you to reopen it an the it goes off all over again you cant turn it off for a day its always on Its so loud and annoying it wakes up MY NEIGHBORS and the two days I used it it made me stressed and miserable Tips for the company allow other sounds volume control the ability to turn the alarm off for a day and avoid push notifications        Great idea bad follow through

Ive uninstalled and installed this app three separate times and it wont turn off It wont count my steps Ive tried running walking jumping running up and down stairs and nothing works Ive also tried changing my phone settings but to no avail A bit disappointed as its a good idea and my music played fine     It doesnt sense steps

The idea of this is great until you realize after you download it is that you have 2 options a man or woman screaming bloody murder unless you pay Waste of space     Not a fan of the alarm

Same as other reviews ONLY TWO ALARMS That just so happen to be annoyingwhich is good in cases but not all so only if it could use ringtones from the device that would be very very helpful        Its alright

I dont use the screaming sound effects Thats a bit overkill Just hearing my phone vibrating incessantly is enough to get me out of bed 30 steps gets me to my coffee pot Thats all I need I also only use it when I REALLY need it Lifesaver                 Genius

I regret my decision of downloading this app the second the alarm went off Your only optionunless you payis the sound of either a man or woman screaming This fact did not please me one bit And when it started going off there was no way you are going to stop the sound unless you take your certain amount of steps So basically i layed in bed the whole time it was going off just shaking and doing anything I can to fake a step It worked but I dont think my family members were too happy to be woken up at 6 am over summer thinking that somebody is being murdered        Bad App

Firstit works kinda It went off at the right time and shut off after so many steps Whats wrong with it I paid for the option to wake up to music When the alarm went off my phone did vibrate which woke me up but it did not play music as promised They need to fix this What the app needs I would like to set the alarm for a different time on different days then leave it I wish there was a how to section to reference Finally I wish I could set the volume of the alarm I want to wake me upnot everyone else in the house           Okay ap

This app is not worth it Sure it wakes you up but do you really want to be woken up but a horrible scream of a manwoman Not only does it scream until you finish the steps but it plays on full volume and you cant turn it down You cant do any other sounds beside screaming because you have to pay for them and as for the steps you have to take you have to walk like a giant to complete them and if you dont you end up doing 60 steps Not how I want to wake up in the morning        Horrible in many ways

I had my headphones in and then it turned the screaming man up all the way and it hurt my ears so much omg its was a smart idea but that really hury        OMG

A lot of people are complaining but the screaming wakes me up and I love how you cant shake it and count steps because if you could I would shake and go back to bed this forces me to get up and its exactly what I needed                 AMAZING

Of all the alarm apps available that I know of I prefer this one The walking feature gets you up and moving you can program up to 100 steps and there is really no way for my sleepmuddled brain to disable it before I have a chance to get up which had been a problem for me Effective This app still needs some serious work Judging from the date the app was last upgraded I question whether that will ever happen Unless you pay for the inapp purchases your only alarm choice is a screaming person and thats not cool My partner has an anxiety problem and Im afraid the alarm could negatively affect him although he assures me its not a problem as long as I leave the room immediately Its also embarrassing because its loud enough for the neighbors to hear in the next apartment I can cope with the alarm but Im sure there are people out there who would have serious issues with it Second the sheer number of inapp purchases leaves a bad taste in my mouth I also had an issue when I set the alarm in repeat mode since you cant disable the app once the alarm is set I could never shut the app off and it was a major drain on my battery If you use this app I recommend you do NOT use repeat mode              Crude but Effective

Awesome concept Bad execution Once you actually get into the app the only available alarm sounds are a man scream or a woman scream that are so quiet Id never hear them If you want different tones you have to buy them I deleted it 2 minutes after I downloaded it     Bad execution

Life transforming I like the ambulance sirens It is the only thing that has successfully woken me up in a month Use evil mode and 50 plus steps to really get you to the coffee maker                 The best

Some days I dont want to wake up to alarm However it doesnt give me an option to turn it off if I dont want to use it I like it generally I just wish I had the option to turn off the alarm on the days I dont want to use it vs having to delete it so it doesnt go off If they gave it an off button like a normal alarm Very beneficial And paying for a normal alarm is so dumb The screaming is ridiculous        Need an off button

This is the only thing that truly works to get me out of bed I had a really bad habit of oversleeping but there is no way to run late with this app Would be better if there were more sounds to choose from besides the awful screams and if the background wasnt the Earth blowing up Overall though its a great and useful app              morganashley14
