This app doesn t run in the background and it s really just a simple story that never changes and a simple timer I usually use the stopwatch or an alarm on my phone but thought this would be more interesting It s not Wish I had read the reviews Squeakekat

I naively assumed that the waiting part would happen between pages of the story thinking that would be an incentive to wait patiently Instead you just tap the screen to proceed through the book and the only time the child waits is when they intentionally tap the button to start the timer That s extremely easy to avoid and offers no reward for waiting and in the real world that s not how it works I m not sure how my son is supposed to learn to wait patiently using this app if all it amounts to is a timer which I have on my phone and a social story that I could have made up without much effort I m very disappointed in this app Very disappointed CristaMcD
The app will teach my little niece how to be patient It clearly explains why it s so important The problem with the kids is that they learn and forget in order to do things that are fun This app will be good reminder to stay patient all the time I am glad I found this app AppsNutso

I downloaded this app to help with developing my little brothers patience He spends a lot of time on electronic devices so I figured he might as well use it to develop his own traits I thought I would have to force him into it but he seems to genuinely enjoy it It is definitely worth the download for children to develop patience while having fun For my brother Edtheeater
This app has significantly helped my son who has ADHD learn patience I tried quite a bit to teach him but nothing seemed to work Since downloading this app I have found him sticking with things for longer than before I definitely suggest getting this app for any child having trouble learning to wait This works GREAT Tylerreedsreview

Really excited to see this app and a series of other great apps from Touch Autism The wait timer is well done and the story included is very cute For those not used to dealing with autistic children this probably seems kind of silly but this goes to a challenge that parents have to deal with on a daily basis Highly recommend giving it a try if your kids are affected by this issue Great Idea MattN55
