Dear Voice memos app developer I just purchased your app for 1 99 this morning Would you please add more functionality in the next upgrade I currently use the iPhone 4 s Voice Memos app to record background vocals ideas I then transfer the m4a recordings to my iPad which does not show me an icon for the iPad version of Voice Memos That s why I bought your Voice memos app Your app does not give me the option to play m4a sound files that I recorded and transferred over to my iPad I would also like the ability to see visual symbols of the sound amplitude in your next upgrade I will send you a screen shot to follow in the next email Can you give me an idea of when your next upgrade is projected to release Also what is the file extension of your app sound recording files At the very bottom of this screen shot you can see the sound spikes of my sound recording I like having this kind of visual cue for sound recording layering and other purposes I also want your next upgrade to have the ability to pull my iPhone 4 voice memos sound recordings m4a files and transfer them over to your app I would also like help files and or a FAQ built into the app I would like the ability to import sound files off of my email inbox and over into your app I would like an iPhone version of your app I have older iPhones 3 and 4 I am unlikely to upgrade to newer iPhones The 1 99 price for the iPad version of this app is a very fair price because there are no annoying ads and this basic app does the job of recording memos Of course you can use it to records vocals for song ideas or background vocal ideas or other similar singing and recording ideas For what it is I give this app a grade of B I hope to move my rating for the next upgrade up to a grade of A after the app developers implement all of my suggestions Hence my current 4 star rating                 Well worth the price Joomi44

This app is just what I needed This iPad didn t come with the voice memos app like my iPhone did I m in college and I learn best if I have recordings of the lectures and am able to takes notes at the same time This app allowed me to record and use Microsoft Word app at the same time Plus there s no annoying ads This is well worth 2                     Just what I needed Sookiejane

I ve been using this to record short feedback memos for people to edit their essays It s super easy to use My issue is just that when i am done it doesn t ask me what I want to name it another memo app I have does I halve to create the recording then select it from the list and ask to give it a custom name Also it doesn t matter what I name it because when I opt to send it to my google drive it disregards the name altogether and sends it as a generic name file I discovered that issue when I had recorded 6 different memos and carefully named each so I d know who they were for and put them in my drive When I opened my drive though they were all the generic file names again and I had to open each one to see who it was about Then I had to change the name again before I shared it with the person who needed to hear it In conclusion I love the simplicity of the recording process just please figure a way to make the files retain their names when sent elsewhere Also I couldn t make the files just email I had to move to google drive and then rename and then share adding extra steps Cumbersome             Simple but Midnightmuskrat

It s just like voice memos on your iPod but this one goes with your iPad to and it s much easier to use then the one on the iPod                     Good app InvisibleWind

Now I can finally let go of my portable cassette player This is a great app for recording interviews Much easier to record and transcribe than a cassette I also had an Olympus digital voice recorder gizmo but the files from that do not open on my new computer This app is perfect for recording interviews I have it on my iPad Air and iPad 3 Worth the 99 cents many times over                     great app Nori-tempe-az

Downloaded this app the other day very excited to have a recorder After two days of attempting to get the meter to register so something ANYTHING is recorded it has failed The app creator offered some things to check but from reading the forums it would seem apple is the one who needs to fix this and thus far has not I must caution you that until they do you may be sorely out of luck It seems unfair to rate this poorly when it seems it is in apple s corner             Compatibility Yolinsky

Great since iPad doesn t have one pre loaded like iPhone I use it to record song work tapes and rehearsal run throughs then load the results up to Dropbox to share with the other musicians who need listen back and it works perfectly The trim on the mic always comes out fine for these quick recordings whether I m alone with an acoustic instrument or there s drums 5 feet away I use it all the time First app review I ve written and have had an iPhone since 3G came out so definitely happy with it It s a great sound recording and sharing utility the graphics which looked fine in both versions people are talking about are irrelevant right                     Great Tool EFMH

I use this app only occasionally but I ve always liked the look of it It does a good job for what it is Had I been paying attention I would not have updated to the new version I understand that this current trend for a flatter look and feel is being driven by Microsoft and now Apple I hope it s just a passing fad I don t prefer over the top skeuomorphism but I don t care for the flat soulless look on the horizon either The new flatter design is rather boring looking I m afraid I liked the old look feel better Hopefully some balance can be struck Cheers RASTER             The world is not flat But I guess it s getting flatter RASTERMAN

This app has made great recordings without an issue but I m unable to sync it with iTunes Customer service is non existent as no one has return the several emails I have sent over the last week or so It is a shame as the recording app itself is fine How difficult would it be to make an instruction page on their website for trouble shooting Not returning emails is the worst type of business I will hve to look elsewhere due to their lack of response         No Customer service The French Pilgrim

Tried using this app to record VoIP calls but every time the VoIP app loaded this app closed and stopped recording Save your money if that is what you are looking to do     Disappointing app Tech user 2012

This app works well and looks great I bought it because it said it ran in the background I do PowerPoint presentations on my iPad and push them to my projector with Mirroring I wanted to be able to record the audio as I gave the presentation but this app turns OFF mirroring as soon as you start to record So I wasted my money Will not work for me and I will never use it for anything else I wish developers would give more details on their apps             Turns off mirroring Flatlanderou812

This app will allow you to start recording waste time and when you hit STOP it crashes This is on an iPad gen4 with ios6 beta 4 I know it s still beta but ios6 is being released soon You should get on the bandwagon     Big issues in iOS 6 FireFishMike

When you are recording you should see a red stripe going across the top of he screen Go into your new application When you are done do not close it Rather tap on that stripe across the top Tis will take you back to the recorder I hope this helps                     You can multitask linda Menardi
