This is a very good app but note that you need to use an iPhoneiTouch in conjunction with your iPad to take the distance vision test The app will try to pair with an iPhone and if you dont have one that test just wont load The other testsvisual acuity macular degeneration astigmatism duochrome color blindness and lifestyle causescan be done on the iPad alone and seem well developed Need iPhone for distance test
Overall the app is useful and interesting however you cannot do the distance test It says to use an iPhone or iPad but does not let me do the test on an iPhone Distance Test does not work

Even though this is a neat little lab do not forget that it does not replace getting your eyes checked out by an optometrist Not a substitute for an eye exam
Surprisingly I think this app can give a better eye exam than the lousy kiosks at the grocery store even I knew something wasnt right with my eyes and now Im sure Ophthalmologist is now in my near future Better than those stupid kiosks

Not a substitution for a real eye exam An optometrist not only gives the patient a prescription but reviews the health of the eye examines the patients medical history and guides the patient with the most appropriate options for correction and visual health The app cannot view the internal structures of the eye which commonly display serious health conditions sometime before any other physical presentation The vision exam is inapplicable from the beginning as it cannot test a patients distance vision from arms length making it ineffective for its purpose as most patients require at least a distance correction Dont waist your time on this meaningless app as it cannot serve its purpose and test your vision Waist of your time
Using an iPad the app says Find iPhone If I open the Distance Vision test on the iPhone it says find iPad Then the iPad and iPhone are locked into waiting for each other and never get to the Distance Vision test making the app pretty worthless since the Distance Vision is what I mostly wanted Distance Vision does not work
It works very easily and is almost as good as the pros Eye exam

I was excited to get this app and do the eye exams I think the tests i could take were very helpful I did have one major problem with this app as you need to connect I phone to I pad to complete the distance test and was not able to get either device to connect One time it did seem to connect only to have the app take you back to the connect screen I was very disappointed I couldnt complete the test Vision test
App has really loud highpitched sound effects that are distracting Also if using on the iPad some of the directions are cut off and can be hard to understand Other than that the app is super easy to use and can totally save someone money before going to see an optometrist Not Great

I took this test and failed all but two So I saw an eye doctor and I got glasses My doctor said good thing I came to see him sooner Thank you Eye Test Accurate
The simple eye test assessment they offer for visual acuity is nothing like what an optometrist would do 2020 vs 2040 etc They then want to refer you to an optometrist Youre better off using a simple eyechart I am deleting this app from my iPhone The simple eye test is ridiculous dont bother
