Axxis supposedly makes a great camera HOWEVER the smart phone software stinks Third party software stinks This app is terrible 1 No alert settings that make any sense If I m away I want to set an alert that sends me a text or email immediately Nope Why do I want to wait and review the recorded video after I learn a week latter when I come home vacation I had a problem at my house 2 How dumb is this 90 of the time I can see my camera s from the app when I m not at home I have a 50meg internet connection to the house I can t use the app to see my house either on LTE or wifi I used the largest home automation company in my state to install the camera s They ve spent hours upon hours trying to fix this problem Plus you can t get tech support on the phone Terrible     Remote viewing is impossible 90 of the time BCKNBLK

Could have been a quality app Main problem It does not appear to support Dynamic DNS Service so remote access will be a problem most users You need a static IP address and proxy server Other issues Crashes when notifications is enabled Tech Support Forget about it In summary if EyeSpyFX put a little more time effort and tech support into this app it could be the first choice for Axis Camera owners But as it now stands I suggest you keep looking             Not if you want simple remote access rogwk

Will not log in to Axis Companion connected cameras remotely off site Axis native app works fine but this app will not allow me to see or control my cameras unless I m on the same network It must not pass traffic from axis cloud         Nice features with one major flaw Steevireno

This has been the best app I have used so far It s seamless connection to the Axis cameras makes it easy to run from anywhere It s ability to run In H 26 stream keeps my network running smoothly with no bogging down It also has the capability of changing the quality of stream which keeps me connected even in remote locations with poor service and does not run up my Phone bill It s multiple user profiles allows me to give personal access to anyone anywhere in the world with just a username and password I have to say axis camera companion is top notch                     High Tech Hunts hightechhunts

App is simple quick and smooth It could be better if they implemented the ability to double tap to center on an object and triple tap to zoom in Trying to zoom in with a PTZ camera is just too tedious because you are constantly trying to center the object If you could triple tap an object and have it center and zoom like other apps do it would be awesome                 Ok but could be better iguy_4

I recently downloaded this app after using various apps fr diff providers This is the worst app by far I am using an iPad min and iPhone 4gs and the apps crashes constantly For such a reputable firm like Axis I expected a much better software I have to keep deleting the app and re installing it for it to work I hope axis spends some time and money on this Having invested in axis cameras should come with some reward not pain Engineers I know you guys know hat to do DO IT NOW     Terrible Glockaholic

Works fine but when I click on Settings it crashes and closes Also it d be nice to have an option to view 2 cameras as our system has As it is I m forced to choose between 2 and 6 camera view All in all though it works well enough but hopefully they ll fix these issues I future updates             Works fine with some bugs jvg vag

Using a ipad 2 the app crashes constantly When i try to open settings app crashes When i click on camera the image flashes and app crashes When i try to view high resolution cameras like axis m3005 v it cannot open it up Also images displayed are not high definition more like superlow definition Another issue i have is that you can only view 6 camera on one page so you cannot get a quick view of all cameras I run all axis cameras most megapixel and higher and cannot belive axis recommends this as their app Hope this app gets lots of updates     Not ready for use Axis user 110

Works pretty well on iPad 1 except all of a sudden I have to re enter all the cameras each time I open the app It remembers the site but not the cameras             Cameras need added Airwavellc

This is a nice start The fact that it can support H 264 is a huge thing This really allows me to view the cameras at a high frame rate Second getting to the recordings of each camera is exactly what I want and this app does it fairly well I think the app has room for improvement and I hope they update it as it does crash some and it does run a little sluggish Another issue which isn t anything to do with this app is that the software only supports a few selected Axis cameras I have some that are supported and some not It would be nice to be able to get to all of my cameras from on app but that is Axis limitation on the software Also you aren t connecting to anything other then your server which needs to run on the network where your are hosting the cameras No third party server is involved                 Axis camera software joelb
