Van Dale English <> Dutch Unabridged Dictionary

Van Dale Groot has the most extensive definitions and best most numerous examples of any Dutch dictionary I own by far In that regard Id give it 6 stars The dictionary engine Id rate only 3 stars There are less expensive dictionaries which are much easier to use With Van Dale the user is forced to choose NLEN or ENNL before starting a search You can switch without retyping but the multiple taps required to switch get a little old Verb conjugations are nonexistent in this dictionary Another drawbacks for English speakers who are learning Dutch Van Dale only has English pronunciations so theres no help if youre unsure how to pronounce a Dutch word Because of the price I waited for a couple years before purchasing this dictionary When I saw the bundle I jumped at the opportunity to get both the Dikke and Groot for the price of one Overall Im glad I purchased it and wish I hadnt waited so long It is a great resource and in only a few weeks its provided many helpful and educational examples which I couldnt find easily elsewhere              Content is the best
