I have two major problems with this app Number one Id like to see a list of the study materials in its entirety that they would like us to use And number two this should download a separate calendar into our calendar One that we can elect to show or not show Instead it adds a daily list to every single day To delete it you have to manually delete every single day individually That is really poor programming There are plenty of ways to sync a calendar that you can switch on and off easily from any platform This was not only a waste of five dollars as I only own SOME of the resources they employ but has also filled my calendar with individual daily posts that I cant possibly delete        Disorganized and incomplete

So I downloaded the app recently After opening the app I tried to select a study schedule but nothing showed up If someone can inform me as to what Im doing wrong Ill change my rating but until then this is worthless I tried to access their website for tech support but for the past two days it just reads bandwidth exceeded I have an iPhone 5     Issues

I have not taken step 1 so this is based on how Ive used the app at the beginning of my studies for step 1 First if you have more than one calendar on ical double check which is your default calendar because the app autofills your default app Here is my tip create a separate calendar for the boards This way if you want to play around with the schedule the app gives you choices about how many weeks you have in phase 1 and 2 its very easy to delete the entire calendar rather than deleting each item Ill update this review after Ive followed the intense schedule for a couple weeks But so far it seems like a good way to study without figuring out what to study next              Tip for how to use

USMLExcel is perfect Organized intuitive and effective this app was the missing ingredient for my Step 1 preparation Dont think twice about this you will need it                 The only schedule I need

Ultimately when choosing which resources to use for step 1 there are so many I ask myself will this help me score better I havent taken step 1 yet so I cant say definitively how this will effect me but having started this program and reviewing the schedule I can confidently say that I believe I will score very very well if I stick to it It is a rigorous schedule to be sure but the company isnt promising a pass theyre shooting to help me score ridiculously high As one reviewer mentioned already they dont list what resources they use While this may cost a few bucks on the front end to get them and follow the plan most of the resources are must use step 1 study materials that most students plan on using regardless Bottom line is that this is an inexpensive investment whose value I believe will far exceed the 5 dollars I have spent on it If I follow this plan and score ridiculously high on step 1 then this will be a 5 star app Since I cant say that Ive done that yet Im giving it a 4 star and will edit it to 5 if I crush my goal or move it down if I dont meet my goal score              Great start future will tell

All this app does is export a study schedule into your calendar app Am I going to trust this app maker with the study schedule for the most important test of my life Absolutely not     Dont waste your money

I bought the app and started studying this week and its been great so far I really like how they broke down studying into phases The resources they recommend are the ones that my classmates and I planned on using but their sequence is much more coherent than I was planning                 Comprehensive and Simple

This app is a real time saver Its great to have my whole study schedule programmed for me I am very impressed with this app so far The synching process was seamless on my calendar and I was even able to sync it with my Google Calendar Each day offers a thorough and coherent agenda with specific and executable assignments Simple and direct                 Time Saver

As the description explains the app creates a schedule based on the time frame of your choosing and exports this into your calendar The suggested order of topics is exactly the same as the order of the table of contents of First Aid nothing novel or helpful however it does allow you to customize the order if you choose The schedule does nothing more than tell you how many days to spend on each topic based on the length of each topic in First Aid andor Pathoma It does not give an estimated or suggested time frame for each item on the checklist for the day Likewise it is inflexible in that it assumes every person has the same strengths and weakness by topic and requires the same amount of days for each You cannot view the checklist for the day within the app or even look at a sample schedule to decide how many weeks to divide it up into The app only states pathology for example on a given day and you have to enter your calendar app click on the topic and look in the notes section to find pathoma chapter First aid topics You have to create a new schedule each time and have it automatically sync into your calendar then if you think its too much or too little per day you have to delete your entire calendar and make a new one or go through each day and delete each individual topic On the website it lists other optional resources to use alongside the main resources However the app nor the calendar provides any suggested schedule of usage for the optional resources In a nutshell the app instructs you to use resources that everyone is already using and creates a calendar on your device that has minimal instruction or guidance and appears constructed by merely looking at the table of contents for the chosen resources and dividing them up unequally over a number of weeks Pritzker most likely scores well on the exam because of excellent teaching over the first two years and a curriculum tailored for board material not because students at the school follow this schedule to study for it        Decent schedule extremely limited app

This is a great app It is based off the idea that the way to really perform highly on Step 1 is to do LOTS OF QUESTIONS Qbanks First Aid Pathoma Thats where its at This schedules it all out and is nicely customizable Highly recommended                 Easy to use tried and true method
