ULTA for iPad

I usually download apps of various retail stores on my iPad for more convenient online shopping or browsing In this case you are much better off using Ultas website The app is not user friendly and lacks certain essential filtering features like organizing items from lowest to highest price It does not allow the user to browse by brand unless you use the search engine feature but if you search say Physicians Formula products with physician or formula in the name or description may appear in the search results The app also crashes frequently You have to log in every time you use it and it doesnt automatically remember your email     Not for shopping

This app has a nice set up and some aspects are easy to use once you get the hang of them Favorites category is a great idea but has quite a few bugs to work out In my opinion things certain things need adjusting to give this app full stars such as not all items I chose will go to my favorites list prices and namebrand should be displayed with items at all times filtering feature is a little too complicated and needs be a little easier to erase and add filters        Great Idea With Too Many Problems

I love shopping at Ulta so I thought this app would be amazing but it crashes too frequently and doesnt save my cart items        Crashes

I got to the end of my approximately 20 minute shopping experience and the app crashed on me Looks like Ulta needs to redo their app Just be warned it can lead to a frustrating shopping experience     Like everyone else it crashes on me

I would give this app 5 stars if it didnt crash every 10 mins Its so aggravating        Crashes

I do love the idea of this app and I am sure improvements will be made over time but the iPad version needs some serious work It will not keep me logged in at all If I switch windows to look a product up on YouTube and switch backit logs me out Even if I didnt shut down the app It would be nice to browse by brand without having to narrow it down to just eyes face etcand not have to do so by using the search feature since then it only shows the pic It is difficult to read the labels on the mini I wanted to be able to create my shopping list from the app so I dont forget what I am in the store for but Ive had to settle for just adding items as favorites for now The collections is a nice feature but only being able to add up to six items doesnt work for a makeshift shopping list The app crashes a lot on me as well which means I have to log back in I still love the app and I see the potential in it so hopefully improvements are made in the future           It has potential

This is a beautiful app with some very cool very innovative features However it needs some bug fixes I get logged out of my account randomly there is some crashing and it taxes processors of older iOS devices a lot It really was designed by a talented team with the consumer in mind though and that still shows           Gorgeous app needs a few iOS 8 fixes

The UI and design is really amazing Thats why this review is getting 2 stars I dont even leave reviews but in the 3045 min I have downloaded this app I have become so frustrated the developersBAsProject ManagersQAs associated with it need to see this Asan ecommerce app it needs major improvement There are major bugs and Im amazed that it was even released at this state 1 I dont even kill the app but multitask and go to safari etc to look at other things and come back to the Ulta app within 10 min and Im already signed out Its my iPad and no one else has access to it There should be a save passwordremember me option Either way it shouldnt be signing me out within such short time spans 2 I have to kill the app to be able to sign in again It takes a long time even though my usernamepassword are correct It blames this on my internet connection but again other apps work fine As soon as I kill the app and reopen it it logs me in perfectly fine 3 The point of downloading a respective app is to facilitate online shopping not make it annoying When clicking on the items I have saved in my cart I am not able to view the product as I am on you know other functioning apps Its like they are statically there Maybe I want to see what exactly is included in my product before I buy something similar But if I have to renavigate to the page where I found the product just to look at its description thats not okay I would rather just use the ulta website on safari        Needs Major Improvement

This app is not screen reader accessible Therefore as a person with a vision problem I cannot use it at all I hope Im not missing out on anything like special offers because that would be so so unfair I spend a lot at Ulta and do so using the website It has issues especially in the checkout area and the ability to submit an online comment is nonexistent but it works I hate feeling like I am not the intended customer It makes me feel bad when the accessibility of a site or app has never even been looked at Is makeup and skincare not for people like me Should we not care to be beautiful despite being different The Americans with Disabilities Act is 25 years old Please adapt to it and to us     Discriminatory

Account info and search should be clearly prominent on home page Not user friendly at all     Wheres my account info

I could absolutely spend hours playing with the Collections feature in this app not to mention absolutely spend thousands of on all these awesome beauty products you can collage all of your favorite products together plus upload your own images into your collage too Im loving the creativity Im seeing in other peoples collections you can scroll through a gallery of all of them to get inspiration Not only that but the shopping experience here is pretty cool much more browse friendly than desktop and mobile Love scrolling through all the gorgeous products                 SO MUCH FUN Check out the Play feature

Terrible user experience Difficult to navigate and nothing is helpful     Not helpful at all

Its like the App designers never used a well designed business app No easy to find search function if its there at all no apparent way to find account info home screen focused on generic category search for new products but no apparent keyword search Come on guys this is an iPad App plenty of room on screen for all the basics that 90 of the other apps have Will stick to Safari to access estore until app fixed     Poorly designed App

I was very excited to download this app I have used it and moved around the app but it freezes a bit and when I exit out of the app and come back nothing is saved in my cart Then I have to remember what I choose and re add it Just some small bugs could be fixed but overall its pretty good as long as it doesnt freeze           It could be better

I cant navigate my account I cant see my point my orders The menu is busy and the filtering isnt that great Would be better if it was an extension of the iPhone app     iPhone App is better

This app is nothing like the iPhone version While you can log in it doesnt allow you to view your rewards account nor can you see your orders Basically all you can do is view the ads I must say that the ads look great     Useless App

I really dont like the Ulta app for iPad Not everything on my favorites list shows up Browsing through products is terrible when theres just a picture with no product name with it I cant shop by brand name and then drill down Ill continue to use the phone app on my iPad until the iPad app improves        Phone app is better

It was much easier to do my shopping via the app I had been frustrated using the web page and dreaded thinking I had to drive all the way to the store not close The app made me enjoy my shopping experience                 Better than the web

I was so excited about this app and they did a nice job making it easy to use versatile and beautiful However I wish that they would make searching by brand easier instead of the search by eyes lips face options Second the collections was a great idea however I cant make one because its frozen on the page when I click on it And since you dont have just a wish list sections its aggravating I cant even make a collection wish list        Good idea not the best execution

This app is just something to play around with Unlike the iPhone app you cant see your account points and if you save favorites on your phone it doesnt recognize that It has nothing whatsoever to do with the iPhone app Kind of pointless unless you just want to look        Pretty but not useful

The app does not save your cart items unless you log in or create an account which is frustrating Also you have to relog into your account every time too           Its ok

The app crashes multiple times and cliched a lot I dont like that you cant see the prices of the products without having to click on them Lay out is kind of confusing but it was a great idea Just needs a few fixes        Needs some work

1 The prices of the items are only shown once you click on them 2 Products that go together like brushes made by a foundation brand to go with a specific foundation are not shown together 3 I spent an hour building my shopping cart by carefully selecting products that I needed by category to put together a fully stocked beauty bar for myself The app crashed and bye bye shopping cart picks It took me 10 minutes just to find the right shades of lip gloss and perhaps longer to find all the eyeshadows A lot of work down the draini take my beauty shopping seriously Maybe Sephoras app will be better           Good but needs work

I spent a long time gathering items for my cart and then I turn off my iPad and then I turn it back on and guess what my cart was empty thus happened a lot and please fix it        Please fix
