I ve been using this app for a long time now I have meniers disease so my hearing fluctuates a lot I really like this app because it allows me to keep a record of my hearing that I can share with my audiologist at check ups I m not sure why but lately it won t let me save or see my results after the test I hope this gets resolved soon because I really like this app and would like to continue using it                     Good for tracking hearing loss but not letting me save results lately Xak5

This app is extremely well designed and very informative The test results are laid out so that they are completely understandable The problem that I had was that I could not reproduce the same test results twice In one test it indicated that I had a hearing loss in the right ear and in another test it said that my right ear was normal This is despite the fact that I was using the same headset and environmental conditions etc             Extremely well designed but Dave in Canton

This app is very accurate I used to have a mild hearing loss But I started to feel like I wasn t hearing as well as I used to I used this app and the results were what I had suspected It motivated me to head back to the audiologist and get a real test done The app was right my hearing had progressed to a mild to moderate loss I would highly recommend this app                     Great app Radiant Jezebel

It s very easy to use and operates very well Definitely a must for anyone who would like to have an idea how well they hear and perhaps if necessary get help or advice if needed No regrets getting it and would recommended anyone to get it a must have                     Total awesome and very useful app Kingpharaoh

This new update has ruined an excellent hearing test app I have tracked my hearing loss with the previous version for 4 years The hearing sensitivity results were spot on with professionally conducted audiograms The new update added a great new user interface but the hearing test is now unusable A clicking sound is produced with the tones I cannot hear frequencies well above 4k At 6k even less at 8k sound is gone However the new test produces clicking noises at the start and stop of the tones I can t hear the high tones but I hear the clicking There also seems to be some false overtones that are produced with my problem frequencies I m not sure if I m hearing anything or not this makes the test all but unusable I have used the previous version for years with stellar results so I don t think it s me it s the new version Thankfully I have the old version on an old iPod I will go back to using the iPod instead of my new iPhone     This was a great hearing test app usonia

Update 7 8 14 This app works with iOS 7 and the iPhone 5s To set the volume just move your finger around near the graphic until the bottom selection becomes available The touch interface isn t lining up with the graphic Yep it needs a major upgrade and complete code rewrite Back to my original review two years before this update I m 61 and woke up one morning with a humming like a microwave fan in my left ear and severe hearing loss Five days later the ENT was treating me with steroid injections into the inner ear High tones recovered but low tones didn t Probably a virus attacked the main nerve Anyway I now have tennitis and the left hear hums constantly but is generally decreasing I ve been to 3 professional hearing tests in the past 6 weeks The last graph from those tests looks a LOT like the results in my first Uhear test I m using Sony Pro headphones with an iPhone 4S and testing in a bathroom for a sound booth I can still faintly hear outside noises such as distant aircraft landing and taking off so that doesn t help However there are no material differences in the Uhear results from the professional results The low tones in my left ear show severe loss and everything else in both ears show normal to mild loss Considering the I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 60 s and attended way too many rock events this is pretty good I would love to try this in the audiologist s soundbooth I ll report back if I get the chance to do that                     Results VERY close to my pro tests startuptechie

I have an iPhone 5s and the app wouldn t let me get past the adjust volume section If I adjusted using volume control the app crashed if I tried to use the slider it wouldn t budge Finally adjusted earphones outside app and got the tone part working by random tapping says I have considerable loss but can t get the other test to work at all Very frustrating and the support button here gives a 404 message So nonexistent Therefore 1 star from me It s a new phone no reason for this experience     Doesn t play we ll on my phone PhoenixFiresky
