Document delivery to your existing back office imaging system and tracking regardless of industry is fast, inexpensive and easy. With the uFollowit mobile app at your fingertips, not only can you produce real-time location information, capture real-time proof of delivery / service completion with signature capture; you can now capture and forward all related documentation for immediate reference by all who need it.
Simply complete the advanced profile under the “edit order detail” page in the application so that you can receive prompt feedback and notification (confirmation code) once your documents have been approved and received by the uFollowit service. You must enter at a minimum, an order number so that we can group related documents together. The uFollowit service instantly: notifies stakeholders at the time a service event is started (AKA pick up), and can provide automatic in-transit statuses including capturing and distributing service termination (AKA delivery) location. Additionally, the consignee or client name & signature and related documents can be captured and submitted in real-time.
For those that need a customized configuration, the uFollowit application can dynamically provide index fields and document lists based on an industry standard or your unique needs. For example, service industry document types include Service Ticket, Parts List, Photo of Damaged Parts and more… For the transportation industry, the document list includes: bill of lading, trip logs, scale tickets, fuel/expense receipts, ‘lumper’ fees or photos of damaged freight, just to name a few. All documents are now reviewed for quality and objectively scored as they come in to the service. You will be notified within minutes whether or not your document(s) was of acceptable quality and where you can go to review the rejected image(s) in a timely manner. Should you need to use a Wi-Fi enabled printer/scanner or another camera application to produce a higher quality image, you can load images directly from your phone’s camera roll (HINT: scan documents in color). It’s the best of both worlds – the predictability of a scanned document with the convenience of an always available device without any need for a net book or laptop or an additional data plan!
Mobile users can also download pre-printed forms specific to their company for printing via iPhone compatible printer/scanner for completion by hand or via image annotation apps. Once all the documents are captured, saved and reviewed/approved, these documents can be batched and automatically forwarded to your back office imaging systems via email or custom FTP/Web Services integration. The user can also review and forward them to other interested parties via email from the Document History page from within the application.
