The UCSD Alumni is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 3.5 MB to download. The new UCSD Alumni app version 1.7 has been updated on 2014-11-18. Im glad to see my university has created a way to keep up to date with the people places and events going on with UCSD even when Im far from San Diego Great way to reconnect

App is nonfunctional good thought but Needs work

I cant really review the app because I havent been able to create an account I was initially thrown for a loop when the app instructed me as part of the registration process to enter my new email address What one might that be I didnt expect that I was going to get a new email address out of this deal Not sure what to think I entered one of my old addresses anyway and at the next step was informed that an email had just been sent there Good thing I didnt make anything up I thought Well Im still waiting for the claimed email to arrive in my inbox If it ever does Ill be sure to give the app a spin Well I tried to register

Blurry text on the home page When it directs you to the UCSD website there are no browser navigation buttons And the events calendar only shows alumni events with no option to see public events happening on the UCSD campus Its a nice idea but poorly executed Poorly designed

I cant login to the site because no login information is ever sent back to me even after it verifies that I am a UCSD alum I have tried twice to register under two different but valid email addresses Both times the app told me it had sent login info nothing has yet been received This app is functionally useless if it never provides you with a valid username and password and so far it remains useless It did verify that I was a genuine alum but it seems that this is the extent of this apps usefulness Unusable
