Best idea since the iPad itself Fun Clever

I really love this game I made tons of projects But I made one project and I cant play it to test it or play with it And I need it to work so I can see if it works This is what happens I open the project I check the code I press the back button I press play I am then out of the app after 6 or 8 or morebut less than ten taps The taps are part of my code to find a cow or dog What is happening 5 stars if an answer is found And make an update allowing you to use andtake parts for photos Love it

I am able to build really fun games with my kids using this tool I also like all the bundled assets My kids love codey and the physics engine is fun to just bounce things Character builder and animations are awesome

This app is so great My children love it Please make more like this Amazing

This is a simplistic start to catch the interest of young children It does assume they can read there are no voice overs It could do with a bit less text dialogs and a little more polish but its a very playable intro to programming concepts I would introduce this to a kid as a puzzle game Smooth beginner approach

I want to use this app with my students but there is no way for me to purchase the in app purchases through the Volume Purchase Program We use that to make all of our app purchases Please add them to the VPP program in app purchases

I love to program with Khan Academy so Im used to that But at my school we did the hour of code and it was actually pretty fun So I try some new things for programming once in a while But this is just boring I tried the puppy game and it was just the same thing time after time So maybe Id download it again if they changed it one word BORING

With the addition of the programming aspect to Tynker for the iPad you have created the killer app to introduce kids of all ages to programming This is a great compliment to Tynker online Fantastic

I tried this out to compare to Hopscotch but it turns out Tynker has a bunch of pay walls while Hopscotch is free Youll need to pay to have any fun

I tried this game out And at first I found it pleasing to play The graphics were good the game concept was easy to learn and it was certainly a new experience Unfortunately bugs are what made me uninstall I couldnt play the second level It just completely whacks out after the little character takes his second walk action So thats unfortunate Incompatible with iPad Mini 3

This keeps crashing on all of our school iPads after level one We are using this for Hour of a code but wont work Help before Hour of Code Crashing after level 1

This is an amazing app you can add chunks of code to make programs But there is 1 thing Please make it so you can add your own pictures from camera roll And if you can have it be able to cut out the picture if they dont have a transparent background And also please make it so you can submit your app to the App Store like in Codea Thank you in advance Amazing but 1 CRITICAL Thing

What a fun app to introduce programming to kids through games where kids code the logic using visual programming Pretty comprehensive introduction to programming concepts Great IDE for kids to make their own games and interactive apps My daughter loves Dragon Journey Great app for my kids 5th grade

It was fun and I figured out how to make it pretty quickly I Made a Game

there are some good puzzles but you get bored really fast A similar app Hopscotch has puzzles and lets you build whatever you want and share it with people got bored so fast

Personally I dont believe that this game teaches you proper coding In my opinion this isnt coding Im not learning PHP or Python Im learning how to put blocks together to make childish games that a 4 year old wouldnt even enjoy Childs Play

This game is a lot of fun and I think its intuitive however there are several bugs in the coding One example is while fixing the tilt game template the code for one of the characters would disappear however when a code string was copied to the character all the code would reappear Another example is while fixing the brick breaker template it completely ignored the code stream already provided to end the game when the ball hits the bottom of the screen Please fix Poor Coding from a game that teaches coding

There are many bugs and glitches in the app that I have found so far I constantly have to tap on the blocks so I can type on them or move them The app freezes when I am tying to use the blocks and other aspects Sword clanging noise comes out of no where and it just isnt that user friendly There is no real tutorial adding one and fixing the glitches would dramatically improve the app Possibly you could add an animated tutorial to attract kids attention Overall I do like the app concept but it needs improvement desperately Glitches

There are a number of kids programming appswebsites and we have tried many of them This Tynker app really stands out with its multiple levels and engaging graphics My 8 year old and my 13 year old both were really captivated by this app A few suggestions It would be nice to get more themes besides the three that are here and I had to restart the download a few times before it made it But these are minor problems Kudos to the Tynker team for a cool entertainmentbased learning app Fun game for learning

Wow Never thought one could learn to programming concepts in a visual way This app has a bunch of fun doit yourself puzzles to learn basic concepts like loops etc and I can see my kids loving it We want to see more of this Great way to learn programming concepts

This is a fun and clever app my 1st grade daughter really enjoyed figuring out the logic and the loops Presents things in a graduated way to build on concepts Some of the puzzles are repetitive and some are short But the concepts are great Worth the 3 Lots of fun my daughter really likes it

This is a wonderful start to a great idea I really hope you continue to make more levels and for children of all ages My daughter has special needs cognitive and health and this program has been a great asset to build her confidence and spend quality educational time on the iPad Recently she had another IQ test done annually to gage any progress or regression and for the first time she hit an average score in 1 area Its basically the same category as programming would be Im so thankful for this app Make more

Only the first and last levels r available so when u go to da next level you cannot understand the tasks they want you to do First level is good Umm

This is the best ever iPad game that I have seen My 9 year old is hooked to it in just 2 days While discussing the laser game I was able to explain geometric properties to her in a way that she was genuinely interested in understanding The simple way this program teaches how to code is mind boggling I have never written a review of any iPad apps ever but am taking time to do it for you guys Your app forced me to do this Kudos to you guys Keep up the great work that you have done My best wishes for your effort Best ever app on iPad

My 8yearold liked the programming app beside the bugs reported by others earlier And then it just stopped working when we moved to an iPad Air 2 We tried two units Progress is properly restored from backup but the levels are just blank as if there was a rendering issue Please fix Stopped working after moving to iPad Air 2
