I have tried around 10 photo layering apps including the one in PS Touch Photo Shop for ios This is by far the easiest and most effective layering app for combining or merging two different photos or combing two significantly different edits of the same image that were perhaps edited in different apps for different effects PS Touch is over priced IMHO however it does have several very useful features including an easy way to layer the exact same photo and apply different effects Where it falls short is that if yo want to layer two different images in PS Touch you have a somewhat blind approach for adjusting the added image size and placement as the first layer is effectively obscured If you could adjust the second image size and position after adding that photo layer this wouldn t be so bad This is where Two Pic excels with the ability to shrink or expand either image as well as rotate and reposition either layer in real time with an adjustable opacity but full view of both images to guide you One nice trick combining both programs is to create hour own png transparencies in Photoshop Touch using the replace color command for the background and then drop the opacity of replaced color to zero then save as a png file to use in Two Pic Of course you can download all kinds of ready made transparencies online and use in Two Pic as well If you want to add multiple transparencies over a background image just save current step as a photo or background layer re import as your new background layer and add your next transparency You also get at least four image qualitydata size layers to choose from when saving to enable control over how much memory you use without having to resize the image                     Best ios layering app I have found ScooterB1964
