I spent hours trying to find an IRC client on iOS that could handle DCC and had no luck until I found this It cost 99 to get the file option but well worth it Minutes after downloading the app I was able to receive files UI isn t gonna win any awards but it s intuitive enough if you know what you re doing I was able to add a server and join my desired channel effortlessly                     Excelled where others failed BryClo

This app has one of the worst UIs I ve ever seen on iOS nothing even vaguely intuitive about it no consistency with the OS standards tiny little buttons that take five tries to tap etc But it s the only iOS IRC client that supports DCC file transfers or at least it was when I got it so I ll forgive it just about anything for that                 Awful UI But DCC Works adavies42

I wanted to like this app and it seemed to work well However there were a couple of things that bugged me about it 1 When filling in settings you have to set the font first and then your nicks otherwise it will forget what you just entered in the nicks boxes after you leave the font chooser window Not that bad but annoying 2 The killer for me was that you can only test the app on the handful of servers that are pre set by the developer I understand that if you want to connect to multiple servers concurrently you ll need to purchase that feature However I wanted to add a server that I use all the time so I could test the experience on my favorite server No can do Clicking the New Server button does nothing I gave the app 3 stars because it seems to work well but if I can t try it on my regular server without paying then it s not for me             Can t really test it myshlev

This app has a learning curve You must be adequately familiar with IRC to properly set this app up for your desired use but it s good when in use The only noticeable issue I constantly ran into was either not being able to see text in the setup menu or if an app is running in the background the entire app frame is shifted down so sometimes certain things weren t accessible But overall it s a great app so long as you have an iPad sized screen I currently use IRCCloud which is much easier to set up even though it does have some bugs here and there                 What worked till I found IRCCloud The Midi Master

The developers openly complain of the three minute window that iOS puts on the app but as soon as they do and they upgrade the app no lingers works properly and cannot add or edit servers rendering it worthless Disappointing after a year of fairly flawless use Looking elsewhere     Disappointing Goodguy-gve

I love how simple this is and how easy it is to use In my opinion it needs more features I really would like to disable the name has joined name has left I know you can check combine elements but it still appears at the top which lags me out to the point where my message will send two minutes after the intended send time Is there a way you could remove this entirely                 Great but Aaron R S

Please keep in mind you will not be able to stay connected if the app is not in the foreground This is true of any IRC app for iOS They all disconnect after a set period of time I believe it is 10 minutes It is simple to connect and simple to set up for anyone who knows about IRC The only issue I have is occasionally the text box where I would type text disappears It is not hidden behind any ad It just disappears The ads are not intrusive by the way Plus it is free                     My favorite IRC app for iOS badkitty_

This is a good app Easy to use straight forward design The timeout issue is a problem though If I am chatting and get an email I need to answer I have to check back in regularly or lose the entire conversation it is frustrating to be thinking about an email and need to disrupt my flow of thought to tend to a program The other time it is a problem is when someone in chat links a video or article and before I realize what happened the program is logged off It is a big enough problem that I am looking for a different program to use which is too bad because I really enjoy using this one but cannot keep losing conversations because I need to multitask             Good app but one major flaw Dagwood673917

This is a nice IRC client however after upgrading to iOS 7 the typing bar intermittently displays at the bottom of the page Sometime when I open up the app it is there and sometimes it isn t Very annoying         Ok but app will not display typing bar at bottom of page Win2much

I like this app much more than all others that I ve looked through It has a simple user friendly UI I think the main menu could look better though and is just overall better than the client I previously used I do however hope that you could make the application not auto disconnect close in the background when not used I was disappointed only with the fact that the other features would need to be purchased Thank you for this excellent client Alex                     Great Application @1E#

This app works really well but it needs plenty of improvements It needs to have options to colored names when you re in a chatroom Also the stability of multi tasking with this is horrible everytime I switched to safari or chrome I disconnect from my chat ofc all of the chat is gone I really dislike that the IRC doesn t let you stay on long enough I m going to find a better IRC client that will have stability and will let me stay on longer                 This need some improvement KupoSempai
