Tumblita for Tumblr

Handles multiple accounts but does not support Tumblr 2 factor the interface is laid out well and its quite responsive Goes back a max of 200 posts in your dashboard which may also not be under their juris so you got to keep up Still highly recommended           Kinda perfect

Wish I could infinite scroll but aside from that still really great                 Best Tumblr Client for iPad

For the most part this app does everything you need it to The only issue I have is that on long posts you cant tell who said what Not that thats an easy task on browser tumblr anyway              Pretty Good

Tumblr was always a cool idea but I rarely used it Since I bought Tumblita I view and post to Tumblr daily all because of this app Makes reading and posting easy and enjoyable especially when compared to the native or mobile web app              I only use Tumblr because of it

The only problem Ive encountered with this app so far is that when you paste text into the text editor it loses all its formatting So lets say that youve got text neatly formatted into paragraphs And I dont mean an indentation I mean with a double space in between each paragraph You paste it into Tumblita and all the double spacing goes away and youre left with one giant block of text that you have to format by hand Also despite the fact that unlike most tumblr apps it supports rich text editing with bold and italic and so on if you paste something that had bold and italic in it it loses that too If it werent for that Id be giving it five stars easily and using it as my main app As it is I have to switch back and forth between tumblita and tumblrs crappy official app depending on what my needs are If you fix the formatting problems Ill easily rate it five stars and use it as my main tumblr app              Good app only one problem

The new format to see who you are following is nice But unneeded You cant see a break in text between text posts If someone makes a text post then another person reblogs and adds their own comment you cant see where one users comment ends and the other begins Its sort of a nightmare Please fix it and I will bump my rating up to 5 stars     Update is harder to use

I like that it lets me assign more than one tumblr account I have a family account and a personal one that I use for writing I can assign both           Cool

Would love it if I could set the amount of posts it automatically pulls Then it gets 5 stars              Almost

Overall its okay It doesnt kill data like the official app and I like the brief thumbnail posts instead of scrolling through everything I wish there was a better way to view gif sets however as some of them get cut off and when I try to expand them it asks me if I want to save the image Also its hard to read tags and some commentary on posts that feature large images           Not too bad

Like the layout and flow but none and I mean NONE of the videos have sound I dont understand how the generic tumblr app has sound but this app doesnt And yes there is a setting for sound and I have it checked Have to uninstall it        Nice App NO SOUND ON VIDEOS

For those SERIOUS Tumblrs you should get this app While nothing competes overall with TumbleOn HD its pretty fast and intuitive              It does what you need

A great app for tumblr many plus about posting only drawback is it doesnt go back in the day Sometimes I am away for a long period and want to catch up and it only goes back so far then stops besides that It is good           Great

Worse than the tumblr iPad website Design is unlike tumblr breaks the flow no infinite scroll no avatars next to posts Pixelated icons even on iPad 2 Wouldnt use if it were free personally        No good

Best tumblr app out there No reason to stick with the original one This app is always improving and keeps getting better Its easy to use and it has a nice interface Love                 Worth it

I love this apps ability to have many accounts saving me the trouble of logging in and out to post and also that I can put up photosets something the real Tumblr App lacks I do hope they add the ability to see your messages zoom in and out and notifications of likes and follows soon For now if you run a blog I highly recommend this app but if you simply want to browse it probably isnt right for you              So much good so much to add

I installed Tumblita when I was experiencing stability issues with the official Tumblr app While Tumblita is relatively easy to use and allows you to log into more than one Tumblr account its best feature imho the app has not been updated in over a year If you look at your iPhone memory usage to see how much memory is used by each app you may be shocked to see just how much memory Tumblita is using While the Tumblita app size by itself is 149 MB it uses an additional 282 MB of Documents and Data memory That means its using nearly 300 MB of your iPhones total memory which is not insignificant In comparison the official Tumblr app is currently 132 MB and only uses 556 MB of Documents and Data memory for a total of roughly 69 MB of your iPhones total memory In other words Tumblita uses 75 more of your iPhones memory than the official Tumblr app Since Tumblr has made a lot of updates to their official app that have improved both functionally and stability I am planning to remove Tumblita from my iPhone to reclaim the 300 MB of memory is using as I simply dont use it anymore now that the official app is working working pretty well If Tumblitas developers do an update to the app that reduces its overall memory footprint Ill reconsider installing it unless Tumblr adds support for multiple Tumblr accounts in its official app           Descent App but Requires a Very Large Memory Footprint

By far the best on the App Store Only feature missing would be password protection but thats just a personal preference              Best Tumblr App

The UI is cumbersome clumsy and far from elegant which is nothing like the apps inspiration a ballerina Why does it take 78 screen touches to post a photo On the left the feed is viewed and advanced vertically but on the right individual posts are viewed and advanced horizontally They should both move the same way or remove the dual view        The UI is awful

I really like this app particularly because it lets me get a quick overview of posts on my dash without having to scroll through every single one There are a few things that Im missing from the tumblr site like autofill or at least a dropdown list for tags and the ability to see comments people add to posts when they reblogright now you just see that someone liked or reblogged it I also miss being able to see the original formats of photo posts scrolling through each photogif individually is timeconsuming and doesnt let you see the full effect of careful croppingcoloringjuxtaposition decisions that artists make With these things added in I would gladly give the app five stars ETA lots of great features on the update but one major drawback because Tumblita uses its own formatting its now impossible to tell who said what in a conversation with several reblogs I wanted to contact the developer to see if this was a fluke or what but I dont have Twitter and I cant find an email addresscomment box anywhere Until this is fixed I have to drop a star because the inability to distinguish who said what seriously impedes how I use Tumblr           Great app could be better

Updates continue Thanks wonderful complement to revised standard Tumblr app This one handles viewing several Tumblr updates quicker than standard app small thumbnail loads quicker and rearranging favs is also superior Old review LOVE the steady updates Latest one allows you to followunfollow Stability when loading 60 posts still unstable but still an awesome app I use it daily on my iPhone iPad Old review Stability is unreliable when going beyond last 20 posts It often crashes past post 75 I also wish it was possible to manage what tumblr accounts you follow Otherwise its a clean user experience IPad versions a bit better than Iphone I use both regularly you get access to both versions with purchase old review LOVE the new ipad interface Intuitive and gives you a variety of ways to scroll through entries Thank you Please do a similar UI update to iphone version old version review Im new to Tumblr Main reason Im here is to follow some new amazing comic artists like Jonny Negro Michael Deforge as well as old favorites like James Kochalka Corey Lewis After buying the App I panicked because the user interface takes a bit of trial error to figure out Also Theres no easy way to find and add new Tumblr accounts via search But now that Im past the initial learning curve Im loving TUMBLITA Clean and intuitive with layout tweaks that embrace the display advantages of both the iPhone and iPad Be aware that you arent able to see yours or other Tumblr account templates just content                 Moderate learning curve Clean design fun

Even though Tumblrs official app is a lot sleeker and intuitive Tumblita has become my goto app If you happen to be one of the few who DONT post photography or GIFs youll love it Its great for writers so if thats you go for it Well worth the price                 Great App

Its a shame because I need a Tumblr app that supports multiple accounts This wont even let me log in on either of my accounts It gives me an unknown error which is remarkably not helpful And my options for getting help or either to sign up for Tumblr or to reset my password neither of which addresses my actual problem Uninstalling Hopefully will see a refund     Broken out of the box

In a market where most apps are 99 cents this app is 99 cents worth of useful           Pretty okay

This app is wonderful I started using my wifes old iPhone 3 and was not able to usedownload the tumblr app This solved that problem                 Works with preiOS 7

I use this on my iPhone and it is not user friendly Scroll down to see the bottom of a tall photo or read the tags or tap the load notes button and it automatically skips to the next post in line Which is a shame I do like the visual interface layout of the various posts in the feed But as far as checking the updates on my own posts its useless I regret paying for this app It was a waste of money        Useless on iPhone

It runs pretty well but it lacks some things that the real Tumblr app has For instance there is no way to tell if I have gotten a new follower or if someone has liked or reblogged anything that I have said it is quite annoying Please can you fix this As of right now dont buy it At all Way too expensive for what it does Just stick with the stock Tumblr app        Ok

The ease of use is ridiculous in this app Looks gorgeous quickly shows may dash and allows quick reblog and liking options both in dash and individual post view The only omissions are the ability to see your account activity such as when youre reblogged liked followed and a message center to respond to fan mail and asks With the addition of those things it would be my main Tumblr app and a 5 star              Almost there

I am always on it and it takes up the most space on my itouch You can be on multiple accounts at once which I love cause I have quite a few You can like reblog add to queue and now even see your followers pages Only downfall would be is it wont show you how many followers you have and if you have new messages but thats what I use the basic tumblr app for Overall great app              The best tumblr app out there right now

This is an outstanding Tumblr client The description is on point I enjoi this app but it NEEDS an iOS 7 update badly For that reason alone I gave a 4 star rating              iOS 7 UPDATE PLEASE

This application is great within a limited frameit wont do everything but what it does it does well I actually prefer to post from this app versus the official Tumblr app because it offers better control twitter or not tags are easier etc Ive also found the developer to be very responsive quick and helpful to answer questions and implement solutions Ive seen some other reviews on here saying this app is not worth buying and given that Ive used all the tumblr apps I must disagree A lot of effort goes into an app like this and I have found the money to be well spent              Responsive

This app seems to get a few things right and I purchased it to be able to post long updates with multiple photos from my iPad Then I spent half an hour writing a long post with images and links and it crashed when I clicked post All work lost 299 wasted        Most disappointing half hour ever

This app is cool but it wont let me log into my Tumblr app or even let me log in to the Tumblrs website it says an app is acting on my behalf with too many requests It wouldnt be a problem if this app had the reply or message button then I wouldnt have to go to the Tumblr App or the official website     Update
