Addendum Version 11 fixes nothing still nonfunctional Oh it did add one Menu heading at the top but pressing that crashes the whole app Fail P Doesnt function Im using an iPad 2 on IOS 712 After the opening logo the screen goes completely black Theres only a blue button labelled Edit Touching it results in its changing to Quit Edit but nothing else changes Touching the screen elsewhere does absolutely nothing and no sound ever issues from the app Tried nuking and reinstalling No luck Hope they get a bugfix out soon because the concept sounds cool But no joy here at the moment     Nonfunctional Buyer beware Update for ver 11

Tubesynth is exactly my kind of app It works beautifully My requests would be midi control to play whatever frequency the path should be taking and some way to move projects between devices If there is already a way to do either of there 2 functions I apologize in advance I just couldnt find a way to do this But all things considered well worth its weight in App Store money Experimental musicians take interest of tunesynth                 Love it

Several updates in and still does nothing andor crashes Do not buy any old butthole would be a better tube synth than this That may sound harsh but this is a music app incapable of producing any sound at all     Does this thing work for anyone

update412 update again yeah audiobus thanks you for listening tubesynths are in a folder now too this app has always worked for me since version onethis synthesizer is very unique and special the dev has worked on a few things as promised fastly give this a try it works on my ipad mini retina 2 os 81 and now works on 83 too there are memories to store your presetsi would love to see a function to record a video out this tubesynth spinning away as its so unique midi would be cooltoo check out devs website to see vidvery unique spikeydigital sounding textures can be created has a sequencer too the graphics that are generated are awesomevery cooli hope this now works for people with issues                 unique synth updated quickly

Perhaps I should objectively clarify the meaning of the word crap poor design lack of any user friendly design artifacts such as a keyboard or sequencer but while these items are hinted at in the settings page of this app are nonexistent in the main interface Instead we are given an admittedly cool 3D representation with the only apparent control element being existent is my index finger which Im pretty sure I had prior to the purchase of this train wreck of an app I sure the developer put some sort of effort into the creation of the app or at least read an engineering text on Sound Processing but that wasnt enough to save the app from bad decision making in the construction of the interface I would have been happier with less 3D waveform and more control over what the waveform can do if you throw math functions at it A little truth in advertising would have gone a long way in customer satisfaction I for one would have been happier for not having purchasing this crap     A piece of crap
