Take full-resolution HDR (high dynamic range) pictures with your iPhone 4, 3GS, or iPod Touch 4G A new Rapid Autocapture mode makes it easier than ever to take HDR pictures, and new SemiAuto mode offers ...
iPhone SE after saving photo to iphone then I attempted to rotate the photo and iPhone photo app crashes Best photo app in the app store for HDR control and photo taking though even after a reinstall it now just crashes over and over cant make a photo Solution I restated my iPhone4s with a hard restart holding power and home button until rebooted Now works again I imagine it is a memory issue between ios and this app             The best app for amazing photos CCIPOD
A great app that requires a steady hand or tripod but produces wonderful results when used correctly                     A wonderful HDR app Adam.01
A friend introduced me to the app and I love it Amazing pictures even on my outdated iPhone 5s                     Love it athmd
just two minutes with the app and I want my money back     horrifying Kiz.E
I ve been using this for years Sure it has some limitations but for landscape photos this will make your photos much more true to life and beautiful IMHO And no no tripod needed normally                     Superb app Shenandoah Fisher
This used to be the best but other HDR apps have surpassed it It does not use the iPhone and iPad s burst feature to quickly take a bracket Instead it takes 3 pictures in about 3 seconds It uses the first picture to estimate dynamic range and merges the last two Its alignment of the two images is surprisingly good and it works fast Final output is only 960x960             Not so great anymore tnphoto
I use a lot of photography apps like you probably do Many of them become obsolete for one reason or another but trueHDR is still the best way to get gorgeous genuine HDR with great control over the original images as well as tweaking the end result it s super simple even in full manual mode and always very stable                     good and easy tool for years now Bag_One
I bought this to compare with Pro HDR X HDR apps have a problem with halos in areas of high contrast It s ugly You get what look like smudges in th sky and in other areas of flat color or tone Based on sample pictures I thought this app might do that less than Pro HDR X It doesn t It also doesn t create the range of exposure that Pro HDR X makes True HDR uses only two exposures versus three for Pro HDR X There s not as much information to work with so the range is narrower On the plus side True HDR is good at aligning images something Pro HDR X has trouble with This is valuable in low light when exposures are longer and the combination of exposures happens over a longer period of time True HDR also has more natural color which may or may not be what you want Pro HDR X pumps the color so you get those gorgeous images with blue blue skies and green green trees and grass It s a little much True HDR is good for getting a wider range of exposure than a single shot it aligns multiple images well and it uses more natural color If you want a wider range try Pro HDR X and if you don t like candy store color adjust the saturation down                 Pretty good significant limit -James-McKenna-
This is a very good app for taking pictures in bright sunlight with lots of shadowy areas It s able to bring out detail in all the areas and blend into a nice clear picture                     Very good app MSSarch
It makes the best easiest and quick HDR shots of any camera app I ve seen I would give a 5 star but it does crash sometimes                 Great Little App Istaboa
Okay if you manage to get the software to stay open mine crashes constantly and you manage to hold it perfectly still even resting my iPad on a fence chair car table rock there was still enough movement to cause blurred double edges and somehow you capture a descent photo the adjustments you can make via the TruHDR software can turn your photo into a really beautiful picture without having to be a rocket scientist photographer I know there is software out there that can identify edges and ALIGN them Add that feature and you ll instantly improve your software a thousand fold Would I recommend this to other users Yes You just better be patient To be fair to TruHDR I don t have their latest version nor do I have the iPad s most recent updated software         You better have a tripod Haphhhazard
Needed a HDR image for publication and only had my iPad to take the image This app gave me clear large wonderful images that needed no editing just a crop                     Amazing podpal
This camera doesn t work hand held Instead of using the camera s burst mode there is a second or so lag between photos Phone must be on tripod or resting on something to use it I was looking for alternative to Pro HDR X but this is nowhere close         Major flaw ruins it jor ell
I m a heavy user of HDR on my Sony digital camera so I thought I d try it on the iPhone I did comparison shots of the same scene with the iPhone HDR feature and with this app This app definitely and clearly produces a better photo                     Better than iPhone HDR John10e
I have always loved TruHDR But now when I click Choose Pictures and then choose All Photos I don t have access to my whole library It s stuck on Albums and only a few pix are available If TruHDR developers are reading this can you please respond to my emails Help me to use this prior to this wonderful app again I will gladly rewrite my review Thank you     Help Problems And No Support Meyouthey
Very basic and poor tone mapping It only uses 2 source images and only a few attributes Instagram does much better work As far as HDR images goes it gives you a small selection of tools that make The image look bad         Weak Pun_Machine
Overall good app Wished it had macro capability But it s redemption in macros is you can use other apps to shoot the macros and use this one too apply HDR to them                 First impressions positive USNREMF
I scanned in the same transparency 3 times at different densities to merge together I did this on a flat bed scanner The 3 scans were EXACTLY in the same position you would have to go out of your way to misalign them Well this app did it Every time And also it only lets you merge 2 images together I will be requesting my money back     Can t merge properly 96!!
Lots of ghosting when the photos merge There needs to be an auto merge setting as well Dropping to 1 star I went out to take picture with this app exclusively After I got out of the sun I notice the picture quality is crappy I used my tripod and the app still ghosts     Inaccurate merging Dj Trust
The photo app that will take you over the rainbow Get it Play around with it You ll dig the results                 Triptastic Stupid Review Erasing
It won t even let me view all of my pictures so I can choose appropriate ones Want a refund     Worst app ever Wkay0415
Excellent HDR app Lots of control and options Be careful of movement between shots the alignment function could be more robust                 Good control Joe Pix
I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 8 It won t open any more just crashes upon launching it over and over I emailed the developer about this and no reply Too bad this was a great app once Probably the best HDR app in the App Store at one point But now not worth the MBs of space it s taking up on my phone     No support SuperBrown
Good job                     Good Rabeh djedou
Excellent blend of exposures                     Excellent blend of exposures powderhoundmd
A must have                     Amazing Quality Been making me look good for years Avgjoe1017
I ve been using this for years And for years it has a coveted spot on my iPhone s homepage It s simple it s easy and the results are predictable and useful                     Gets a spot on my first home screen Escade
It works perfectly Love this app I use it very frequently                     True to its name Turbine Tim
I have been using TrueHDR for a while and I am constantly amazed The color depth of the photos can be matched using an SLR and Photoshop but this is so much easier I love it I m still hoping to see is a time lapse module built into TrueHDR High quality HDR videos would an add on worth paying out more for Thanks for the awesome job on TrueHDR                     Still My Number 1 App CO_Moderate
In Love do not stand still and make other worlds in worlds in worlds in space this is amazing                     TrueHDR candykuehn
Best HDR app                     The best kingoblues
I ve used this app for some time and have been pleased with it iOS 9 bugs are now fixed Easier to use than other HDR apps Good response time from developers when there was a problem too Recommended                     Mixed results Sled Dog 1
I love the update today Thank you so much This app makes the best HDR photos AND EVEN A TIMER THANK YOU Please allow an option to do 5 second or 10 second timer                     Very good update Nathan Pierce @MicroBrewr
Great and easy to use plus the makers Stay on top of all the new versions Of apple and we all know a lot of app makers Don t care once you buy the app This app gets a A                     The best HD app out there Theminimalist
One of my favorite apps Results are not foolproof but when you understand the capabilities along with the limits you can come up with some terrific images that are otherwise not possible There are some great creative potentials as well that go beyond the primary function of capturing the wide range of lighting dynamics inherent in many shooting situations inside to outside and shadow to full light One can use the manual function to great effect layering discreet images into a single merged photo Buy it You ll like it                     True HDR JTamm
The best is back in town I love that it doesn t crash anymore I really like this app It takes great photos if you can hold the phone still                     It s back Peaviner
I ve used True HDR for a couple years now It s my preferred Photo method The results are always amazing and guaranteed to get compliments I ve found the interface to edit the photos very intuitive easy and quick to use I m still dumbfounded at what a great Value this app has proved to be 5 stars for sure Paul Scottsdale AZ                     Great Value and a Must have PCordell
I ve been a long time user of TrueHDR it works great and keeps getting improved with updates I take a lot of landscape shots and occasionally do real estate photography In both scenarios I battle with dynamic range and TrueHDR has helped me tremendously The app renders both the brighter and the darker areas really nicely The automatic alignment between pictures works better than my far more expensive desktop HDR software                     the app makes my pics shine Charles J. B.
The best real HDR application                     iPhone 5s works great but iPhone 6 not Бендер ЧикагО
I have used several HDR apps and this one blows the competition away I have used this app on several occasion to create rich color and robust photos All my photos taken always get lots of likes on social media sites Its very easy to use                 Best HDR app ParkerPark0817
Previous version crashed with iOS 9 but this version squash is that bug SpaceI m so happy to have this app back it is hands down the best HDR app out there and I thought just about every single one of them It s not as fast as others but the quality of the end picture is leaps and bounds more superior                     Best HDR on the market Saul42
Really like this app however recently started crashing as soon as it opens Both my iPad 3rd gen and iPhone6 Plus have it crash both on iOS 8 x 5 stars if it didn t crash         Best HDR when not Crashing TiPAB
I really liked this app on my 5s Now it crashes on open every time in my 6s I m sure you all will fix it soon right                 Crashes on iPhone 6s CeeBeeFromLarryville
Loved this app however it stopped working since I upgraded to iPhone 6s Very disappointed     Not working on iOS 9 ElTico68
Great pictures on iPhone 5S however the app crashes on iPhone 6s I think the app deserves an update since the last time was 2014         Crash in iPhone 6s ssalamanca
Used to be a great app but it keep crashing and now it doesn t even open     Keep crashing Prince of Persian
Come on guys This thing now crashes every time I use it on my phone and my iPad     App crashes Angry Photog
You only have 8 filters to choose from And u have to take 3 pictures in a row or choose 3 pictures from your albums for it to work merge Not what I was expecting imo a waste of money     Big thumbs down
Great app great results but I have a pretty big complaint about this app Why does the phone readjust focus between each shot Thats insane When iPhones focus they zoom in and out slightly so it creates an insane double image that Im really annoyed with Id use this religiously if the phone could just hold its focus on what I want to focus on and then just adjust the exposure at my different sample points           iPhone focuses between each shot
When I turn Geotagging off in settings I do not expect to have to turn it off every time I use the app If you are going to have a default setting default to OFF        Geotagging
Generally better than the iOS built in HDR mode              Good
I loved the previous version Took stunning pictures with great controls This version seems to have erased all that function Please bring back the old version     Terrible update
Use it quiet a bit Always great results                 Still my go to
Can not handle large files taken by DSLR camera Wasted money     Useless
The app has a major drawback You have to process right then and there So you miss the next 30 seconds of shooting Also it crashes when saving a lot So then you dont even get the first one I only use it for non moving subjects Oh and the aspect ratio doesnt match the live view preview     Slow crashes and useless for anything but still life
Great app and far superior at capturing dynamic range than the builtin HDR option on iOS However I really wish it defaulted to 3 stop bracketing like most DSLR cameras do Can be limiting with only 2 exposures especially in very bright conditions              More control than iPhone HDR
Very good for phone thank you                 Very good for phone
Edit version 26 worked great on my iPod touch 4th Gen Updated to version 31 and now it doesnt work After taking a picture all effects buttons are just white and dont work Terrible update I always wanted to get into HDR but it was too complicated to mess with This app has made it easy and now I am really enjoying it This app is as good as they get I only wish I could use it for action photos other than that it is perfect Auto mode is my favorite so I can continue to take pics and play with the Effects later     Used to work great
This is easily one of the best most versatile and intuitively easytouse HDR emulators in the Apple Store With many useful features including editing tools this is more what the native camera all SHOULD BE and more Even with a few major bugs the program is stable and reliable enough that I can happily overlook the bugs and STILL give it a 5star vote                 Best HDR app Ive found
I like this setup better you can play with light and overall the pictures look a lot better                 Thanks for bringing the old setup back
Thank goodness The original 30 app was utterly worthless You can still see what Im talking about with the new AutoBracket App HOWEVER theyve gone back to the previous design and this is where its at Best HDR app out there                 Worthless
Noted HDR double photos taken by my new 5s were sort of a joke occasionally should a bit of sky in one not seen in the other but useless otherwise Photos taken by this program look often immediately go be stupendous but CAN TURN OUT USELESS read on you may need a tripod Even windows on interior shots looking as if fairly good dodging burning were done on a darkroom giving some detail to a bright yard outside that WOULD be washed out Dramatic sunsets can be included in architectural landscape photos especially if manual capture mode is used and the brightest and darkest areas chosen by tapping But do NOT ASSUME youve gotten a photo as Awesome as you saw in your tiny iPhone screen I am having virtually every shot taken even in moderate contrast situations show upon enlargement in phone or inspection w desktop misregistered final pix with double images of tree branches and hard edges virtually anywhere in the photo esp toward the edges If those two framing trees or even centrally located black tree silhouettes are key youll be retouching them out or have lost the shot Thinking a rigid tripod is needed Ive held as still as possible while trying to touch lightdark areas AND THEN trip shutter Perhaps a Bluetooth shutter and always use auto capture mode while holding still as a marksman or sniper would work Or is it my phone           Dramatic shots but beware
Believe what reviews say about resolution it is reduced and your pictures will be notable for fuzzy grain App should be named Fuzzy Grain Ridiculous app iPad Air 2     Resolution reduced
Would love to have size constraints setting like 169                 Awesome app for sure
I downloaded every other app when the last failed version 30 came out They dont compare Thanks for the update                 Best App out there
Updated review Thanks for returning this back to the way it was The new way took horrible pictures This is so much better The AutoBracket app takes horrible pictures Stick with this TrueHDR is simply the best iOS HDR app period                 Great improvement
One of the best weapons in my photographic arsenal                 Excellent
First I appreciate the speed and new features However removing the semiautomatic and manual controls was a big mistake Its now a dumbed down play toy that lost its way You add features but dont take away what so many users found special and gave them control You blew it Gotta look for someone elses HDR app now Cannot recommend this in its current form     Pro controls gonedumbed down
Ive downgraded my rating because the app is currently crashing a LOT when I tell it to save a merged image Please fix it I use this app a lot to process HDR images Frustrated           Great app Wish there was an iPad version
I am a professional photographer and this app is awesome I use it all the time Everyone should have this app                 Great App
Not for every photo but beautiful and sometimes very dramatic results in situations that have a broad range of exposures required to have all parts of an image well exposed                 True HDR
I have used this app for two years and have been happy until now The recent update is not intuitive and appears to take only one exposure I cant see how 3 exposures are taken merged or controlled There are no guides on how to use the app There has been a lot of reported add ons that are not well described or appear to do what they say This app has been watered down Very disappointing     Update is terrible
Pictional remediated their terrible decision to remove the manual controls in the last version This version restores my beloved HDR app with the coveted semiauto capture Thank you Dont ever change too much                 Thank Jeebus
Love it Great                 True HDR
But it keeps crashing on me Its useless if it doesnt function I hope they fix this soon        I want to like this app
Best HDR app Ive used                 Love it
Please continue to improve on this app Just dont take away manual operation and true bracketing with three deprecate exposures                 Thank you for listening
Great app great support                 Excellent
The speed of taking 3 photos iOS8 is almost instantaneous Huge improvement Taking hundreds of photos in a narrow slot canyon in southern Utah was an extreme test of HDR All DLSR and normal phone camera only produced over or under exposed crappy photos I would have given the fifth star except there is a bug that crashes the app while saving the photo yes the photo is lost It gets progressively worse tastes to me like a memory leak Powering off and back on the phone fixed it for a while While annoying I can live with it until it gets patched Because of TrueHDR I was the ONLY person in the group who consistently got amazing photos Everyone else insisted on copies of my photos and I was not interested in copies of their photos even though their photos would occasionally include me Until DSLR cameras can do HDR natively manually Photoshopping RAW images does not count the thousands of dollars of camera equipment I have can continue to collect dust Another strike against my DLSR investment is the lack of builtin GeoTagging something that almost all mobile phones do well The only advantage left to my traditional camera gear is swappable lenses and I plan on trying on some of the zoom and telephoto options for my 6 Nice of Apple to leave us the raised lens to keep additional lenses centered TrueHDR keep up the innovation I see well past the current bug to what this update means to my photographic future I just checked and I have 537 iOS apps on my laptop and 349 on my phone This is the only review I have done because this update is exceptional I dont review apps that just work as advertised because I expect them to do that Lousy apps or ones that dont work as advertised I just permanently delete              Fabulous update
This has been my go to app for HDR photography on the iPhone The results are spectacular The ability of the program to take two pictures and fuse them is impressive In particular I have noticed that each improvement of the Application has brought increased speed Additionally this has been my favorite show off application as each new iPhone really loves the additional processing power and makes beautiful images faster and faster Unfortunately I was disappointed by an update which automatically installed yesterday and it appeared that a number of other people were upset by it too However what a surprise to find The application has been reupdated with the gold standard algorithm switch made this application shine out amongst its competitors and we are back on a solid footing again Thanks to the developers for trying something new but even more kudos for being so responsive                 Thank you for fixing this
Only load pictures 19 mb or lower                 Low mb
Really like this app not only is it easy to use with options for dull manual or full auto the results it produces are very nice for capturing a tough lighting situation                 Nice app
Works great have had a long time                 Marc
Goodbye Canon dslr                 Impressive
I can no longer use this app When i take a shot after the final image is displayed the entire interface locks and i should quit the app Reinstalling the app and facing the same problem Ipad 4 iOS 603     App frozen after a shot
Gr8 to have the old version back because the v30 was horrible                 perfect
This ios8 update is HoRubuLjust like that feeble attempt at spelling Gone are the manual controls semiautomatic capture and more Why the Dev did this Well Apple took away the camera roll in 8 and the camera Devs have to figure work arounds from legacy apps I hope this is the reason and we see a slick update putting back what we all want So for now it went from 4s down to 2 Well that was then As a DSLR shooter and creating HDRs via my DSLR I was a bit leary Alignment tonalitynoise are all done well Auto bracketing has stepped up it value looks like 101 EV on 3 frames shot 2 of which are saved to library along with final image You can process out of your camera roll as well It tone maps a single imageexposure chosen twice from the camera roll pretty well The only reason it gets 4 stars is because nothing is perfect        HDR done well
Awesome app Created some awesome pics with it                 Super
There are several HDR apps for the iPod iPhone and iPad and this works consistently and well even in full automatic mode By saving the originals you can use another HDR program on your computer to get even better final results A worthwhile addition to your app library                 Among the best
I use this all time I can take the most amazing photos with this app                 Get this app
So much fun to play with all the setting A goto app                 Great app
The developer is created a great update for iOS eight and then reverted back to the earlier inferior version Too bad This app made it to my home screen last week Now it goes back to the boondocks Another good reason not to use automatic app updates     Dumb
Its my goto app for dramatic hip and just cool images Its easy to use and you can go deeper if youre so inclined A musthave app its that simple                 Excellent App Serious and Fun
If you want to step up from the stock iPhone camera start here True HDRs auto mode generates pictures that get likes so easily its embarrassing 2nd review111114 TruHDR is no doubt the best photo app Available at iTunes for a couple bucks its the best investment I can suggest for anyone who wants a decent picture I recommend TruHDR 23x a week                 All you need
Nearly perfect Could do a little better compensating for the shaky hand when aligning images Still huge improvement over Apples native app              Nearly perfect
Ive been a longtime user of TrueHDR it works great and keeps getting improved with updates I take a lot of landscape shots and occasionally do real estate photography In both scenarios I battle with dynamic range and TrueHDR has helped me tremendously The app renders both the brighter and the darker areas really nicely The automatic alignment between pictures works better than my far more expensive desktop HDR software                 the app makes my pics shine
Great app does what it is advertised to do Trouble is as others have noted a tripod or other steady mount offer a big benefit but this app doesnt support any of the camera shutter remotes They all emulate pressing the volume up button to take the photo but this app doesnt support that Huge miss for an otherwise great app              Great app needs to support remote trigger
