TripLog - GPS Mileage Tracker

Im in outside sales out of my home office and the biggest pia challenge I have is logging my trips daily Even if its a trip to the UPS store Many trips were forgotten not recorded and my mileage deduction was lower and my tax bills were higherUGH Battery drain is NOT an issue since when in the car iPhone is on power cord With TripLog all I do is plug in my iPhone when I get in the car and unplug it whenever I leave it All starts stops automatically mileage routes and time is recorded automatically And a weekly report is sent via email This app is a winner                 Take THAT IRS

After being audited I realized how important it is to keep detailed auto logs This app does it all for me with almost no effort on my part Perfect                 Simple

This si a good little tracker and it tracks all your milage whether its personal medical business or charity It alos can track your fuel usuage so you know what kind of mileage your getting and if you should be concerned It has nice reporting and nice backup if you go for the mobileweb combination which actually costs a little money but is waaay worth it It even has the option to do GPS tracking which will show the route you take or a manual input which still keep pretty close track of what youre driving The only downside and the reason I didnt give the app five stars is that it will drain your battery This is especially true if you have the GPS tracking on So if you can use the manual input It still uses battery life but not as much The other thing is that the User instructions are a little sparse You really need to be able to intuitively figure out how to use the app both on the web and on your phone Theys help desk is awesome though They repsond quickly and give clear instructions This is defintely an app worth getting if you need to track you driving              Great Tracker

I wish I hadnt update Does not stay on a default previous car End trip disappeared from option on the top while creating manual trip Do not update if you use manual trip creation I use it every day now is less usable and does not make our job easier        No good update

Last year I kept a paper log I didnt want to have to do that again especially the manual adding of times for an entire year come tax season This solution is saving me time and is going to be my favorite decision come taxtime next year Its not perfect sometimes I will have to manually edit things at the end of the day but its so much quicker than a paper log Great features include the ability to add categories view your monthly deductions per category and save locations with names              TimeSaving Solution

This app is literally saving me money I was always forgetting to keep track of my mileage This has cost me money Ive already that my business miles are high than I originally suspected The automatic tracking function has not always worked properly but as long as the app remains open it seems to do okay Even with this issue I love the app              Saving Me Money

I have used the free version of this application since 2012 and upgraded to the paid version this past February I keep track of gas purchases and expenses through the app The main reason i use the app is for tracking mileage for business purposes it tracks your route mileage odometer reading time average speed etc At the end of the year i can print a monthly summary that lists each trip a summary of miles the reimbursement rate for the federal taxesvery neat easy way of tracking everything and my accountants appreciate the neat orderly summary Thank you                 Versatile App

The tracking system needs to be optimized and records more than every 30 seconds It shows I drive through buildings and messes with my logs and I have to change the odometer on it almost daily              Needs tracking work

I purchased this application to track my mileage in March 2015 The App is buggy and will not consistently track your mileage Autostart does not work all the time and many times the application will just stop running in background Not worth the money for the annual subscription        App does not work consistently

This is the perfect little app You can use it to track your gas mileage mileage for business Medical Personal or anything else you want to add It will track manually or you can track using their GPS I have been using it for about 2 years Gives great reports for taxes too                 Great app for business or traveling

I have used TripLog for almost a year now and love how easy it makes it to track my mileage for my parttime job with Uber Lyft Its a very easy app to learn and use Could not be more satisifed with the performance and how easy it was to get reports at tax time                 Awesome Mileage App

I searched though many apps just like so many other people and even though the icon is not fancy or modern looking its the interface inside that is great It has loads of information to input if you want to or just keep it basic I love this for business because when ever I want to I can get a full read out of all my miles and data logged in on a very informative spreadsheet This is SUPER good for doing taxes at the end of the year I did though try out other apps and for one they were more expensive for all the features that TripLog has and they did not give back enough information Seriously this app does more than I thought it would do especially when I got my first read out from the year I used it the first year for free and then I realized that this is an app I need and am willing to invest a measly few bucks for the whole account A great app Personally I think its better than the rest Not sure why there are no reviews while I was writing this Its been out long enough for sure A little gem even though the icon is a little out dated but thats ok                 Great app and keeps track very very well

App has my data in it for travel and now it keeps crashing black screen No support and no help with recovering data DELETED     Zero stars if possible

I have used this app on a daily basis for about eight months now I have an iPhone 6 Plus and it had worked great for a long time As an alternate I added it to my 4G Samsung galaxy 4 tablet but it locks up searching for these addresses Currently I am having duplicate addresses recording the same address of at least 100 of the same addresses I have tried online help with no success I did get some support about a month ago in erasing duplicates but currently I have sent seven emails with no response no help on this issue Still no reply and still a consistent problem I have spent two hours a day extra messing with this application either deleting it and manually entering my stops and trying to get this app to match my webbased system At this point I am asking my company to consider a different app or will just go back to Expensify as it was reliable     Sales manager

I am terrible at keeping track of my mileage I have been looking for something automated and easy with good reporting forever This app not only does that with flying colors but has far more cool features than I could even use I love the detailed reporting It is solid and makes verification tax preparer way easier Pretty much does everything automatically and now I dont have to worry about missing a trip or trying to remember where I went and how many miles it was I give the TripLog app a very high recommendation                 How did I live without this app

I was basically happy with this app while using it for free Then I paid 10 for a year of single user features Within two months after that the app started not loading so I couldnt even use it The one time I did get it to load recently it told me I needed to pay otherwise all of my data would be wiped out It seems that it had already happened since itd been so long since I was able to load it Somewhere along the way their system apparently stops treating me like a pain customer and just deleted all of my stuff If I logon via the website it shows I am paid through next spring several months from now But that is useless since the app will not let me access my account if even load at all While the app is working I would give it four or five stars Now it is zero at best Ive essentially been ripped off and even have lost mileage related to business travel which I need for tax verification purposes So I am double screwed and need to recreate everything manually Thanks for nothing folks     Used to work fine I paid Now doesnt work

This program is great if you drive for uber or another company like that Most of the mileage apps use autostart for tracking as the only option which requires you to be sitting still for 35 mins before it ends For taxi type services it you need to be able to manually start the log because you stop and go so quickly Keeps track of all you receipts and allows to take a picture of it and upload it to save for tax time                 A must have for uber drivers

When it works its a great app I find multiple entries for the same trip it shuts down mid trip and the reports are hard to find It does sync across devices and sends an email at the end of the week that seems to take into consideration the multiple entries the attachment option works well if you want to take a picture of the parking ticket and you can use tags to identify the details of trips you are making It is easy to identify what type of trip Customer support is quick to get back with you and answer your questions in a wellthought out way A few fixes for the the bugs and glitches and youve got a great app           Great Concept

Have used this app for almost 2 years with no problems This past month or so has been a nightmare The app runs really slow crashes gives me a black screen or resets itself entirely resulting in lost or in accurate information Time to get comfortable with another mileage tracking app     What Happened

I have been using this app for 2 years and have loved it since month 1 At first it was a bit tedious and cumbersom but after some getting used to the app I worked it out to where it fit my needs and demands The free version is OK but I must encourage to at least purchase the reports and the auto feature of the car charger it helps to keep the miles acurate the only cons I can really say for me is that at times the auto feature does not work but its so rare that i can count on 2 hands the times it has not worked other than that one item it is a good investment                 A Review to consider
