Trigger - a topic based messenger

I really like the design and the way they feed me the news however the connection is unstable this version hope you guys can fix it soon              good design

After my previous goto news app was put on indefinite hiatus I came to Trigger looking for an alternative and so far I havent been too disappointed Its a fun seamless app that sends me updates on the news I care about and keeps me alert Its interface is similar to Reddits making it easy and enjoyable to browse However unlike Reddit or other news apps that Ive used in the past Im unable to tailor my feed to better suit my interests I find it frustrating that my front page is regularly cluttered with sport coverage and that I have to scroll through draft reports and scores to find a story that I actually care about theres no way for me to unsubscribe from the news sites that provide these stories nor is there any way for me to dismiss them from my page I realise that I could simply swipe right into a section that does cover my interests but shouldnt a Top News page be more than just sport And shouldnt it reflect my interests and the things I do upvote Is a Top News page not meant to reflect the most important news out there that I absolutely should be reading If it were possible for me to unsubscribe from news that Im not overwhelmingly interested in whether its a blacklist or dont show me stories like this option or a setting that allows us to tick and untick the news categories we care about I honestly believe this app would be perfect Its just the perfect blend of obscure and mainstream news coverage to make it a key player with real staying power Id just like a little more control and customisation while were at it              Great app but a suggestion

In your picture it shows that the customers receive this news 49 minutes before its starts trending but then you have in the description on the app that we receive it 43 minutes before it starts trending Seriously     Why lie

Simple neat news feed throughout the day I have been using Trigger for the past couple of weeks and its quickly become my go to app for news Trigger folks I was a long term Linked In Pulse app user and jumped ship after their awful app update screwed up the one feature that kept going for their app namely multiple news tiles in the same view Read the app reviews for that app I would like to suggest you go after that customer base There are tons of readers waiting for a replacement app and your app could be the one that saves the day for 10 mil people                 This is how news apps should be

The articles and design are decent but the app often gets hung up and crashes while loading news or wont refresh news for days at a time I dont recommend this app        Very buggy

Any time I try to favorite bookmark or upvote an article or collection on my Twitterlinked account on my 5c it requires me to relogin If this issue was resolved I would recommend Trigger to anyone because of the easytouse layout        Critical errors with great app

Cant creat an account cant sign in with Twitter doesnt load stories 50 of the time     Lots of bugs

I thought this would be a legit news app where I could find current events and actual news that doesnt relate to pop culture I dont want to hate on pop culture news I am just upset that it didnt say that in the description of the app I wanted to read about Obamas new negotiation rules regarding hostages and I download the app and the first story is about Kim Kardashian and her new dress Just tell people in the description that this is a pop culture news app so you dont waste anymore peoples time Very disappointed     If you want a real news app this isnt it

After update it wont grab a new story for days     Wont Refresh

UI UX are wonderful but I want the overlooked feature more easier to use Sharing made easy                 great experience but I want more

I like the collections they created especially Gossip Everynight and Get Dirty With Me                 Interesting Collections

I love reading the news on the go Unfortunately many news apps are poorly designed which makes this task difficult Trigger is unlike and other news app that Ive used Simple and effective interface makes browsing and finding articles a breeze There are also great share features to share articles I find with friends Pull the trigger and download this app today                 Great news app

There doesnt seem to be any real world news on here Just 9gag and celebrity gossip even in the daytime serious mode va the nighttime fun mode     Just 9gag and celebrity gossip

This is an easy to navigate app that is accessed at my finger tips Very up to date and covers a lot of information Love using this throughout my day at work and at home                 Great app

Just need to fix the connection with Twitter for special feed once you creat an act with fb                 Great news app

Navigating the app is often painfully slow The notifications I got about breaking news events were almost always worthless fluff        Slow and useless

The idea seemed good enough to download but 1 not giving this or any app access to any social media 2 trying to sign up via email returns a time out error 3 if you browse as guest it loads stories and hangs with the loading icon spinning but you cant access any article Thanks but deleting maybe in 6 months I may try again as looking for a Circa news app replacement and this is not it     Buggy and does not function properly

The app needs permission to follow people and post tweets to work The stories are super clickbaity I like the concept and the design but since not a single story in the app appeals to me and the few that could have I saw days ago I dont see the concept working out Fix the creepy twitter connection and let users pick types of stories or sources and we might have something        Not impressed

Works pretty well as a news source but the app was draining my iPhone battery dry Had to delete           Nice functionality but kills battery life

This app is amazing I love how simple it looks and how easy it is to find the latest information all over the world The only problem I have with this app is its a bit sticky It freezes often and will not cooperate much when youre trying to change from Top to Word etc Ill try to tap Science as precise as I can and Ill go straight to Overlook for example Sometimes its so ridiculous I give up for the day Im assuming however that these bugs will be fixed by the next update Also honestly the fact that you have to go to the actual website almost every time to get the full story see photos or videos etc shows that this app isnt fully put together yet              Five Stars by the Next Update

this app is really horrible and never loads unless u have great connection Its a stupid idea and then try too hard     APP IS HORRIBLE

Sorry to say but Flipboard already exists and to be honest its much better           Flipboard

The app itself is horrendous pretty sure that the upvote counts are fake as well Do not recommend downloading this app at all     Be aware of these fake reviews

Wont work     Overlooked doesnt work

Requests to sign up with email gave me Request timed out several times Finally signed up with Facebook and when I finally got to see news articles it wouldnt let me vote from the main screen I clicked on an article to vote there It took forever to load a single article and dont even think about scrolling to read more than one screen the app will instantly crash Great idea for a news app however a stress test should have been done before release This app is not ready     Buggy not ready for release
